This Rivers issue is not about Buhari. Please don't make it a Buhari issue. Its mainly Amaechi vs Wike.

APC is not totally non-existent in Rivers state as your propaganda including Wike's is trying to underscore and imprint into people's mind. APC has sizable followership in Ogoni land and you'll see APC victory in these places sail through judicial scrutiny.

Forget the cry-wolf propaganda of the PDP, they equally deplored rigging machinery and don't be surprised if some PDP victories especially in Rivers East is overturned.

APC did not do so badly. There must be elements of opposition in each state. In both PDP and APC strongholds. Let's put the days of rubber-stamped legislature behind us.

He was appointed as a Major General and later promoted. Didn't keep track of that. The picture posted was wheb he was in the rank.of Major General. Brutai was also appointed as a Major General and Promoted too. I just commented based on the pic posted.

His promotion was a compliment of his appointment, Same with Burutai but Olonisakin got a double promotion. They have been promoted now more than a year. Commenting on the rank of an officer based on photo may not be too accurate as the picture may not be recent.

Wonders shall never end. See Atiku sef forming anti corruption. And some people who claim they hate fulani dominance has already fallen yakata for Atiku.

A country where people cherish rumor so much people carry their phones in hand with Internet but still ask people with kpalasa phone for what goes on in government and around town. If there's anything PDP learnt from the Rivers state elections,its this, when violence is met with violence,then everyone stands an equal chance of winning. In the 2019 elections,thugs,cultist,armed guys will make plenty money from politicians.
To that police officer that got beheaded,cult guys carried that out. The truth is b4 the elections wike held meetings with all cult groups on counter acting the federal might. They possibly mapped out some rogue senior police officers that needed to give way. The act of beheading was a message to the federal powers, and come 2019, force men that choose to be a tool for the federal govt will go down same path. If that officer was beheaded,it was because he went rogue,he decided to do the bidding of APC. He should burn in hell.
The Rivers state election was a testing ground on seeing the viability of violence inorder to prevent what happened in Edo state.

Atiku is just sweet mouthing just to gain the support of the SE and SS. He is not a smart politician. He needs the support of the North than the south to clinch the presidency with the current political outlook of the country. If he decamps to the PDP, he definitely will gain upper hand in the SS/SE. He needs a very strong support in the North to counterbalance this and sail to Aso Rock. Unfortunately, his comments which are aimed at selling him to the SS/SE will further alienate him from the North.

And one funny and interesting thing is that among the Southern people, the SE seems to have already found a darling in him. And they were the ones who were critical of fulani dominance and always resorting to verbal attacks on anything hausa/fulani. Even when others are still studying the man with a view to properly profiling him, they have already swallowed his lines hook, line and sinker.

Sincerely with the thinking of a lot of people in this country domiciled on frivolities, I often wonder if Nigeria can ever achieve any greatness.

And the cords of partisanship here in Nigeria is far greater than the cords of nationhood. That is the major problem. There is lots of love for country in civilised countries than for partisan course.

He is a full General. One of the few to ever attain that position. How can you say he is a Major General when his subordinate, the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Buratai is a Lieutenant General?

He was promoted to a full General by President Buhari on his appointment as Chief of Defence Staff.

You are right, the man has completed his mandatory 35 yrs in service but he sure does have age on his side. I heard he was the youngest officer of his course. I won't be surprised if President Buhari extends his retirement.
