Dangote of northern extract, exploring southern gifts. I was just wondering if a southern man would be given access to such,if the north had oil.
Are Yorubas, Igbos and other southerners not engaging in profit making ventures in the North??
PoliticsRe: Yes It Is True That Justice Onnoghen Has Resigned - Adegboyega Awomolo, by agabusta:
grin Why was he now forming James Bond before? Hypocrites will still come up with another twist that he was forced to resign. Whereas, if the reverse was the case they would have flooded here to abuse and curse Buhari, that they said it "that there was no case against Onnoghen." But now that the NJC said the man engaged in unethical conducts, they have turned their bile on the NJC.

Its no longer the NJC will restore him back to his position, the NJC will hammer Buhari, it is now, the NJC is corrupt, the NJC has been intimidated, etc. Bunch of jokers! cheesy

What keeps getting me confused is why the naysayers cant just take a pause, and consider it, that the allegations against the Ex CJN may actually be true.

It's all about southern Oil
What's stopping the 'southern oil owners' from constructing their own standard refinery??

Whats stopping 2/3 ND states from investing together with some other private sector player(s) to build a refinery?? Even if its just a modular refinery.
PoliticsRe: Dangote Refinery’ll Improve Nigeria’s Trade Balance By $2bn Yearly –IMF by agabusta: 6:29pm On Apr 05, 2019
Impressive. Dangote making all the bold moves. After this endeavour becomes a massive success, some people will come and be bad mouthing the guy that he is enjoying monopoly.

You people should come and build your own refinery now oh. We dont want to hear monopoly.
PoliticsRe: EFCC Releases Dossier On Onnoghen •the Full Details by agabusta: 1:18am On Apr 05, 2019
Yet, some people are supporting this Onnoghen.

Let him go and defend himself before the court and the NJC panel, and let no one cry about the outcome.

Any moronic governor with control over state resources can actually influence two or more opposition members to move to his party. It is not a product of political smartness but a consequence of the kind of people we are in Nigeria. Our politics is devoid of principles and ideologies so, the urge to make money moves everybody around.
This is apt!

PoliticsRe: Discos: Federal Government Lied On Generation Of 7,000mw Of Electricity by agabusta: 12:29am On Mar 26, 2019
Oduntan said the TCN, on the other hand, has a total of N50 billion annual expenditure approved for it, stressing that it was unfair for the TCN to complain about DisCos’ low investment.

With that heavy CAPEX, he said, the TCN cannot solve half of its problems
If it gets too hot, hand over to people with better financial and technical muscle.

PoliticsRe: Discos: Federal Government Lied On Generation Of 7,000mw Of Electricity by agabusta: 12:26am On Mar 26, 2019
All this noise by the discos for the past few days is just too pressurise the FG to increase the tariff for electricity.

The useless and fraudulent discos has refused to respond to the allegation by TCN that they purposely reject load, instead they are wriggling around and already gathering fans by their smooth talk.

Jgovt:
It's Clear, and this has always been the case.. When Oshiomole was declared winner in the Court then it was only 2 Justices that supported his case so also for Adeleke..Oyetola will be out latest Wednesday next week and will Appeal as an Ex-Governor.....Atiku victory on the Road.. Onnoghen Reinstatement soonest..
Oyetola will still sit tight as governor until the Supreme Court rules on the case, if the appeal goes all the way up.

Lol I'm telling u. I don't support all these politicians though but when I saw PDP fans Jubilating on the Verdict. I was just here laughing lol. They should just forget about any mandate. That's how the Case will be dragged for good Four Years while the former will be sitting Intact on the throne. Very funny nation.
A duration limit has now been placed on election tribunal cases. 180 days for the tribunal and 60 days for the appeal.

We are zoning it to the north. Kwankwaso or Tambuwal must be rewarded.
Osibanjo can continue sharing tradamoni grin
Yoruba presidency dead on arrival.

APC would become a regional party in 2023.
Osibanjo is not the only candidate of the SW.

What is you people's problem with him to warrant this level of obsession??

We have Fasola, Akinwunmi Adesina, Fayemi, Tinubu, Fayose,Gbajabiamila, etc.

All of them are potential presidential candidates.

You need to compare both project designs before alledging foul play.
PoliticsRe: Ekiti Awards N8.9bn Ado-Osun Boundary Road Project To Contractor by agabusta: 7:51am On Mar 22, 2019
Sanromeo:
You're right. That road is long overdue but Akeredolu has disclosed it yesterday 21st March, 2019, that the Akure-Ado road will soon be dualized by the Federal Government.

He said the Federal government has finished the design for the road but only awaiting budgetary approval.

The Governor gave the cheering news at Itaogbolu, headquarters of Akure North Local Government Area of the state during his Thank You Tour.

He explained that his administration has made several efforts at getting the road done before it later settled for the dualisation of the road.
That is so pleasing to hear.
PoliticsRe: Ekiti Awards N8.9bn Ado-Osun Boundary Road Project To Contractor by agabusta: 7:44am On Mar 22, 2019
Sanromeo:
Fayemi is setting a new standard for good governance.
The only Governor in the South West that recorded a clean sheet in the last State Assembly election. TUALE!

Fayemi is working in Ekiti. Akeredolu is working in Ondo. It's good to know that both sister-states (Ekiti & Ondo) are moving forward.
I need both states to team up and dualise the Akure - Ado road. This will be a strategic intervention that will spread developments to the fringe townships between both states.

And interestingly, the road is a federal road, which means they can still claim their money back from the FG.

I really don’t understand why both Ekiti and Ondo states are not looking in this direction all along.

Excaperx:
I was having a discussion with some of my friends and most of them were northerners, we gisted about 2023 and what if osinbanjo contested.

They said God forbid (in Hausa), I was surprised so I learnt that because osibanjo is a pastor that's why he can't rule Nigeria.

Imagine an imam been a president, how would the South react? A pastor or imam isn't good for presidency
Wetin be una problem with Osinbanjo na?? Has the man announced a presidential ambition to you guys??

Please leave the man to concentrate on governance as VP for the next 3 years. You can then start your permutations by 2022.
