SANDF DOES NOT NEED ASSISTANCE TO FIGHT ITS WARS
About 100,000 UNITA troops helped SADF 4,000 fight Angolan war, means UNITA did over 90% of Bush war combat like Nigeria, while South Africa did less than 5% combat like Chad.

Tanzania helped and commanded SANDF in Congo war.

American commandoes helped SANDF and Rangers fight Rhino poachers deep inside your homeland South Africa.

Problem is we won quito, not to mention that the Cubans accepted OUR terms in the end - same terms we had demanded since 1970's.

Also, you say they chased us out of their airspace... then why do they celebrate no air-to-air kills? We celebrate two cool

Which one of those airspaces was a contested one?

Just wondering
[size=16pt]

How Tiny Cuba Totally Defeated South Africa In Contested Airspace

Last time I checked war history, South African air has NEVER WON A BATTLE in a contested airspace in modern war history, SAAF lost air superiority to Cuba's teenage air force.

South African air force Mirage jets withdrew from air to air contest when Cuban MiG-23 jets arrived.

You can boast about your air losses, it's allowed, like the Seleka debacle.

"Some Cuban sources credit the MiG-23 with winning the war in Angola and forcing South Africa to democratize. According to this the final touch to the war happened in June 1988. After their defeat at Cuito Cuanavale the South Africans retired to Namibia. The MiG-23 totally conquered the air and the Mirage F-1 of the SAAF, routed and impotent to reconquer the air without disastrous losses, abandoned the war and left the air to the MiG-23 to pound their army with impunity.

Cubans encountered a wall written on in Afrikaans by the South Africans with an elegant phrase: "MIK23 sak van die kart." They translated it as "The MiG-23 broke our heart."

Cuba advertised its ability to continue its advance into Namibia, but it was too much for South Africa which on 27 June signaled hastily to US mediator Chester Crocker and requested a ceasefire and negotiations, which ended with a peace treaty under which South Africa abandoned Angola and Namibia."

How will you do what a NATO task force failed to do?
The NATO force did not use anti-submarine helicopters and anti-torpedo counter measures against the South African submarine.

Targeting an enemy warship with submarine torpedo is only stage one of sea combat. Stage two is submarine fires torpedo and ship replies with anti-torpedo decoys and defeats the torpedo. Stage three is that the position of the hiding submarine is now exposed and the ship attacks with it's own torpedoes and also launches anti-submarine helicopter to attack the submarine.

Stage four is that Mandela's bank loan purchased submarine will be sunk that day !

More advanced Land systems(Longest firing artillery(in the world),some of the best APC and IFV,ultra modern Air defence systems, ect ect)
More advanced Air Force(NAF has nothing that compares to the Gripen,Hawk,Rooivalk,Upgraded Oryx,Augusta,Upgraded C-130 etc etc)
More Advance navy(You said one SAN Sub can sink the entire NN(and one SAN sub has sunk an entire Nato fleet))

Basically more advance in every thing!
Any one submarine in this world can sink any warship of same class/era, if the navy does not use anti-submarine weapons/equipment.

Your reference to NATO fleet exercise proved me right, NATO did not use anti-submarine helicopters against the South African submarine, or else Mandela's bank loan submarine money will waste that day o !

Nigeria has anti-submarine helicopters and missile armed drones that can sink a submarine. NOTHING changes that !

SANDF does not have :

Any amphibious armoured vehicle
Any thing like ATR-42 Suveryor aircraft
Any thing like Stealth IPV, MPV, OPV.
Any thing like CH-3A missile armed drones

Nigerian Troops Recover Borno Major Town

Ajomole Helen, 34 minutes ago

The Nigerian troops have recaptured a major town in Borno State named Bama, which has been under Boko Haram’s control since September, 2014.

The military had made several unsuccessful attempts to recapture the town a security source revealed on Tuesday.

Soldiers were said to have broken into wild jubilation in the Maimalari Barrack, the headquarters of the 7th Division of the Nigerian Army in Maiduguri after the commercial town had been liberated.

Bama is the second largest town in Borno State and has a place in the history of the Kanuri.

It was learnt that the battle to recapture the town was led by the General Officer Commanding, 7th Division, Maj. General Lamidi Adeosun.

The GOC, an infantry general, led his team to the town on Monday and returned on Tuesday after troops had successfully recaptured the town.

It was gathered that contrary to earlier fears, the Nigerian troops did not meet serious resistance from the sect in Konduga and Bama towns.

A source among the troops said, “The general did not even utilise our crack boys in Konduga. He just took his team from our supply of new boys here and drove straight into Bama, leaving the Konduga guys to rest and continue watching his back till he took over Bama. He chased the bad people out, removed their flags and installed our authority.”

It will be recalled that the Senators in Nigeria’s national assembly today commended the Nigerian military over the recent successes recorded in the war against Boko Haram.

"Bama’s reclaim, which was led by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Division, Maj-Gen. Lamidi Adeosun, was said to be a very “fast and secretive” one in which the officers and men had to toe the line behind the infantry general into the town without knowing his next moves.

“The GOC did not meet any serious resistance between Konduga and Bama indicative of the fact that the insurgents who are now in confusion had actually retreated and galvanized arsenals in Bama town waiting for the show down to finally reclaimed the captured town last September,” said a Bama resident that came to Maiduguri Tuesday afternoon."

The aircraft obtained by the Museum is of the type flown by Azanian People's Liberation Army (APLA) members in exile, but is not one of the actual aircraft used to train the volunteers. Members of these Non-Statutory Forces were trained at Zaria in Nigeria and are referred to as “The Class of ‘77”.

In 1976 a decision was taken by the APLA High Coomand, Central Committee and the Military Comission to train aviatiors. A group of 22 were identified and sent to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Training Centre at Zaria. Fourteen pilots and eight aircraft engineers were trained. One of those was Deputy Chief of the SAAF, Major General Gerald Malinga.

Augustine posts these pictures and credit is given to him by Beegeagle on the 9th of Feb -

YOU post the exact same pics the day before. 8th of Feb. Explain how it is possible for you have Augustine's pics the day before. Show us which article/website you got these pics. If you never made them yourself - https://www.nairaland.com/1386870/african-militaries-security-services-strictly/97#30529344. On page 97.

Since you will claim you googled these pics. Please show us the website. Please tell us what you typed into Google to find those pics. Thank you
Yes thank you for trapping yourself in the net.

Augustine nairaland posted the photos on nairaland February 8, so it circulates IMMEDIATELY on internet and is available freely to any other Augustine anywhere in the world.

Then on February 9, the mystery Augustine on beegeagle copies the same photo freely on world wide internet and he posts it on Beegeagle.

So what? How does that make the two Augustines the same person? When you search Augustine on Facebook how many people with that name will pop up worldwide....only one?

Biafra was not a fully conventional war - name the artillery duels, tank battles and dog-fights for us.

Biafran civil war involved 150 000 men

Angolan Civil war involved 416 000 men

Again you lie and lie and lie
No, you lie.

Angola war had less than 300,000 men total. SADF was 4,000 and Cuba was 50,000. Show us citation for MPLA and UNITA troops.

Biafra war 150,000 ? How?

Nigerian army alone is quoted at 250,000 troops, so add Nigerian Navy and air force, then add Biafran army, navy and air force .

American expert website I posted here last year said soldiers death alone was 100,000 troops.

The thing with you is that you forget that you are mentally ill. Lets look at some basic evidence.

You posted the pics below on THIS site on the 8th of Feb. The "Augustine" on Beegeagle blog posted these pics on the 9th of Feb.

So two men called Augustine, both on military forums, both Nigerian, are handling the exact same pics within 24hrs of each other. But it's still not you? Ok fine.

Lets go deeper. You had the pics on the 8th, the other Augustine posted on the 9th. Meaning you had them 1st. You DID NOT copy those pics from Beegeagle blog, because you had them before that post existed on that blog.

So lets go deeper still. Where did you get those pics from? Please post the website and article link you got those pics. Thank you kindly.

But you know what...lets go deeper still. In the comments sections Beegeagle asks Augustine if he is the one who took the screengrabs. Augustine says YES.

So please explain to us how YOU were able to have these pics on the 8th of Feb posted here on this site, before that other Augustine had even posted HIS OWN SCREENGRAB PICS on that site on the 9th?

Did you time travel? Nigerian voodoo? You see how when you have mental problems you dont think of such things? You have been exposed. Your opinions, feelings, ideas are therefore irrelevent and mean nothing to no one. You should have apologised immediately to your herd of followers here as soon as your antics were uncovered. I am NOT anybody's master.

I am NOT a god.

I am a human being born with the genes of a nation that almighty God has ordained to lead Africa as the ultimate black power....Nigeria. My brain is a typical Nigerian brain, when all African nations meet on the same spot, a Nigerian will stand out clearly, not pride not ego, it's a divine gift your gold and platinum will never buy for you. So are we born here, we didn't buy it, so were we born in motherland Nigeria, Papa God we thank you o !

The mystery Augustine guy on beegeagles blog is entitled to his own opinion.

However, his comment did not state the facts that :

Nigerian navy has 3 anti-submarine warfare helicopters and torpedoes to seek, find, destroy enemy submarines.

Nigerian navy can withdraw it's ships to safe harbor and seal up all entrances with anti-submarine nets.

Nigerian navy can wait for South African submarines to partially surface their 'breathing' snorkels, detect them with coastal radar and Tv, then attack with NAF jets or our Drones armed with guided missiles.

That Augustine was only analyzing warships vs submarines, he did not mention anti-submarine air power, maybe the guy wants Nigeria to buy more weapons or a submarine so he talks one sided.

Anyway, no South African is smart enough to decode that.

I am Augustine of Nairaland, attack Nigeria with a South African submarine and I will sink your sub in record time. Fact !

Wanna dare us? Dare us at your own peril !

You think any pilot in this world can fly any type of aircraft? Every aircraft needs different training by qualified trainer, needs also a simulator device, then needs hundreds of hours to become combat qualified and this is after graduating from the specific training program of that specific aircraft.

There is no South African mercenary that can fly NAF's upgraded Alpha jets, F-7 jets 3.5 G, upgraded Puma, or new versions of Hind E and Terminator.
