Average Nigerian infantryman doesnt have the it

The average Nigerian infantryman has a copy of a copy of a gun from the 1950's
Nigeria uses OBJ-006 version of year 2000s generation not the old AK-47 of 1950. Data specs of OBJ-007 is classified.

SANDF R4 rifle is a copy of Galil which is a copy of 1950s AK-47.

The average SANDF infantry man has NEVER used his R4 rifle in any combat since he was recruited, he only knows THIZA's internet based online-virtual army photo club.

Those Nigerian army rifles have drank the red blood of over 50,000 enemy fighters all over Africa in the last 25 years, the average Nigerian soldier is a killer machine

I asked a question - when did Nigeria purchase Reva IIIs?

The answer to that question is: "never".

It then follows - the Reva IIIs do not belong to Nigeria.

When did Nigeria buy this REVA MRAP ?

YOU ARE A LIAR, SA HAD OVER 10 000 MERCENARIES AND THE MOST HIGHLY PAID IN IRAQ, JUST MORE THAN ANY COUNTRY THAT PARTICIPATED IN IRAQ. SA MERCENARIES ARE EVEN RESPECTED BY US SPECIAL FORCES.

HAVE YOU EVER EVEN ASKED YOURSELF WHY NIGERIA LITERALLY CRAWLED TO THEM TO ASKED FOR HELP?
Actually, we turned a few of them to casual labour mechanics, that's the best offer they qualify for here in Nigeria, basic mechanics.

Russia has more mercenaries than South Africa after Mujahedin war in Afghanistan.

Most of the ex-SADF are now aged between 50 to 70 years for those still alive, they have passed their prime. Many of the ones alive are sick, disbaled and on wheel chair or poor health and cannot go to war again for ever.

The whole SADF army in Bush war that has experience was only 4,000 men. A lot of them died or got disabled in battle. Most of the 4,000 SADF troops were just regulars, not special forces of any kind.

So where did you get 10,000 South African mercenaries all ex-soldiers with war experience?

There are many REVA MRAP users around the world, see one below, security forces of Yemen.

Nigeria has South African ex-soldiers turned into casual mechanics and electricians, that's the only job we use your white-heads to do cheesy cheesy

6,000 Beryl rifles in total from two batches....according to your very own source !

"WARSAW – The Nigerian Defense Ministry has ordered 1,000 assault rifles from Polish firearms maker Fabryka Broni Lucznik. The 5.56mm Beryl rifles will be supplied to Nigeria’s Army in January, and senior company representatives say they expect the country’s Defense Ministry to order a further 5,000 weapons next year, reports local news agency PAP."

Remeber when augugubugug was talking about ground search radar:

Under the programme, SANDF has acquired a total of 14 Thales Squire ground surveillance radars, 65 Sophie thermal imagers, processors and communications equipment, as reported by Defence Web.

Featuring the frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) Doppler radar, the Squire is a portable medium-range ground surveillance radar that is designed to detect and identify people in camouflage at ranges of more than 10km and moving tank-sized vehicles distances from as far away as 48km.

The radar is integrated with automatic target classification facilities for persons, wheeled vehicles, tracked vehicles and helicopters, and cannot be detected by hostile electronic support measures (ESM) equipment and radar warning receivers.

http://www.army-technology.com/news/newssouth-african-army-receives-new-tactical-intelligence-system

Yet again, SANDF is acquiring equipment Nigeria could only dream of
No, it is SANDF that is dreaming with an empty pocket about buying what Nigerian military has today.

Your South Africa has never deployed guided missile drones in combat before....SANDF struggles to catch up with NA and NAF !

Actually its 500m, and its the only aspect where the Beryl is better, besides at those ranges we have the R1 or R4DMR designated marksmans rifle, assault rifles are used for mostly for close combat thus there are designated marksman rifles for longer ranges.
R4 rifle effective range is only 450 m, Beryl is 600 m.

TAKE A LOOK AT THEIR BALLISTIC WEAPONS. look at their police department. bros, the more u try to compare, the more embarrassed u will become.Direct your grievances to your nitwit leaders not the south Africans. our civilian govt were scared of empowering the army because they were afraid of coup, now look at the mediocrity military that we have now. filled with unprofessional elements and corrupt generals

Your source:

"The Congolese army retook one of the last remaining strongholds of the M23 rebels."

So who retook the rest?
United Nations force, the FIB that included Tanzania, Malawi, and the artillery forces of Tanzania, the special forces of Tanzania, and air combat support by Ukranian air force Mi-35 Gunships, all under the command of a Tanzanian army brigadier general. That war has too much multinational African and European content for South Africa to take any glory beyond 20%. The Tanzanian army D-30 artillery units wrecked M23 positions before SANDF could team up with other ground troops and move in.

That Congo DRC M23 war has too much mixed UN multinational armies and air forces input, it's hard for any country to claim more glory than others

The SSTD detects torpedoes - that is all

While the SSTD is only really effective against ancient Soviet ERA torpedoes

Development of the SSTD helps cover a serious threat to major U.S. ships from Soviet-designed torpedoes initially developed in the 1960s, naval analyst Norman Friedman told USNI News.

And now the killer blow: The system that destroys the torpedoe is not in service:

NAVSEA has more testing for the SSTD system scheduled for this year and plans to have the CAT and TWS reach so-called initial operational capability by 2019 and Fleet wide adoption of the system by 2035.
http://news.usni.org/2013/06/20/navy-develops-torpedo-killing-torpedo

So, the facts remain unchanged: A South African Heroin Class submarine defeated an entire NATO task force

And again, I ask you show us a NATO warship armed with anti-torpedo countermeasures
I showed you, HMS Daring and HMS Duncan among others have been operating SSTD since OVER 6 YEARS AGO !

The USA naval fleet is testing a new SSTD to add the ones they already have, that's the 2035 date, but for OVER 10 YEARS AGO, NATO ships have deployed SSTD anti-torpedo weapons, I only posted the US Navy new tests to prove you wrong when you claimed the SSTD only detects enemy submarine torpedoes, you told a big lie and I proved you wrong, SSTD detects and destroys submarine launched torpedoes.

NATO fleet fooled the whole South African navy when they deceived your car washerman level Soweto brains that SAN have sunk a NATO warship in war game.....fools grin grin

Auguugubgugugug - did you even bother reading about what SSTD is?

Its not countermeasures - its torpedo detection

Again, (its now day 4) show us a NATO vessel armed with anti-torpedo countermeasures
Yes I did, HMS Duncan, HMS Daring, etc http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Daring_%28D32%29

Looks like you did not finish high school, and you can only qualify to be a basic casual battery charger in Nigeria.

NATO ships have SSTD and it means Surface Ship Torpedo Defence, it is on HMS Duncan and many, very many other warships all over the world not just NATO, even in Asia under different manufacturer/brand types.

SSTD detects and destroys submarine torpedoes very easily...NOT only detection, it destroys submarine torpedoes....

"WASHINGTON (NNS) -- USS George H. W. Bush (CVN 77) conducted the first aircraft carrier-borne end-to-end at-sea test of the Surface Ship Torpedo Defense (SSTD) System, the Navy announced, June 6.

The Countermeasure Anti-Torpedo is being developed by the Pennsylvania State University Applied Research Laboratory (PSU-ARL). It is designed to locate, home in on and destroy hostile torpedoes. Over the four-day testing period, Bush engaged seven torpedo-like targets with seven Countermeasure Anti-Torpedoes. Designed to validate the end-to-end of the system, the testing proved successful.

This first end-to-end test of the SSTD System achieved several firsts: the first Torpedo Warning System detection of targets from a carrier, the first automatic detection and automatic targeting of an incoming torpedo target from a ship, the first launch of Countermeasure Anti-Torpedo from a carrier and the first end to end Torpedo Warning System and Countermeasure Anti-Torpedo system detection-to-engage at-sea test.

"It is gratifying to have these tests go so well," said Rear Adm. David Johnson, program executive officer, Submarines, whose portfolio includes the Undersea Defensive Warfare Systems Program Office. "The engineering involved to detect a hostile torpedo, process its direction, speed, depth, and then engage it with a carrier-launched Countermeasure Anti-Torpedo is impressive. I am confident that the fleet will be pleased with the results.
