refering here to fixed wing light attack aircraft/trainers remember. helcopters can move much slower and can aim the rocket pods with more accuracy than a jet on a strafing run.

so why did nato fixed wing use bombs in iraq, eastern europe, afghanstan, iraq again and libay. why did south africa go from operating mutpil diffrent types of pods for the same aircraft to non. because bombs are better. and rockets can be stoped. just shoot down the attacker who has to get close to use them effectivly.

chaff vs a laser or gps guided weapon? any case unguied bombs can not be stoped


did you know russian pilots in afghanstan saw there rockets (the orginal of what you useing) as being highly inacuret and usefull to tickel the enemy. and where do you get 6km from. at max you can get 4km but that is pushing it not to menstion that at max range you dont aim for a target but at a map grid
