i have been doing more and more research into the valour frigates, i have found many of its weaknesses.

nigeria can sink all those south african warships. if not sank, they will all run away from nigerian waters completely.

nigerian army can sink them 1km to 24km from nigerian coast.

nigerian navy can sink them 1km to 180km from nigerian coast.

nigerian air force can sink them from 1km to 370km away from nigerian coasts the whole EEZ territory.

Msauza: Why wouldn't they use MK 2 instead which have better seeker head to lock and down all your plane like a fog. You like to limit us to suit yourself.

yes i used the MK 2 but it is still too short range to hit any of the 30 nigerian jets flying at 13km above sea level.

we are re-visiting the naval blockade simulation with some people close to me, and south african valour warships are sinking or close to being sunk. new facts have emerged.

andrewza: Actually I do. From that height it will be affect by the movement of the aircraft, movement of the earth, movemt of the target, wind dirrecstion and speed that will not be the same has the altuide change. The princpile is the same for arty even extrem range snipers


Your arty on the shoar with out a proper fire control will have miss rate of up to 150 to 250 metters at max range. Not a big deal when doing air burst over infantry but a ship like the valour. Somthing I never botherd to menstion since mass volly fire can componsate.

i dont need your lecture, i know much more than that already...like gravity's pull at 9.8 m/s you didnt mention.

i am busy with air force officers who are pilots that have bombed both fixed and moving targets in real life war.

you have zero combat experience, you have never fought any war. you have never flown a jet fighter.

i am getting new information from world class qualified jet fighter pilots who have current combat bombing experience and the relevant type of air force training which you do NOT have.

andrewza: What do you want to hit from that hieght? And the range of the umkonto is above 13km in range and max altuide these days.

That is not proof that they all airborne caperbil.

dont write any thing like max range 'these days' be specific, DENEL info is not hard to find all over internet. i only pushed you forward. maximum range of Umkhonto anti-aircraft missile Mk 1 is 12km and Mk 2 is 15km, so it caannot shoot down any of nigerian Alpha jets flying at 13 km above sea level.

nigerian Alpha jet is not expensive maintenance problem like Gripen jet that south africa cannot afford money maintain and put half of them in cold storage.

nigeria had 24 Alpha jets, lost 2 or 3 to crashes. upgraded 10 to 12 for maritime warfare just about last year and all still flying for sure. anyway, we dont need more than 4 Alpha jets with powerful load of 20,000 pounds of bombs and rockets to sink a valour frigate...and we have another 12 F-7 jets all fully maintained in nigeria, dont ask me foolish questions about if they are flying.

Msauza: Provide SAEngine with a link first to prove your NNS Arandu is capable of firing 8 multiple missiles at once. If you can do that I will be at handy to provide you with a link.

why worry, i posted SIPRI org arms sales data 3 times on this forum and proved nigerian F-7 jets are all brand new 2008 prodcution, and your fellow fool @saengine had to shut his mouth since then

Or 2 frigats. And I wonder how many of those alpha jets can fly at any one time. What the max that have ever been airborne.

forget about infromation you dont have, nigerian alpha jets are upgraded 10 to 12 units and at least another 6 are flying. we have posted the upgrade source and photos amny times on this forum. dont waste out time.

most DENEL weapons are launched from imported made in Europe weapon platforms/equipment

Umbani guided bomb needs European Hawk jet and Gripen jet.

Umkhonto missile needs European Valour frigate to launch it.

Rooivalk Helicopter needs European engine to keep flying.

Olifant Tank needs European engine to keep driving.

i said missile armed patrol boats...small warships not ordinary gunboats. valour frigate has only one main gun in the front, and it cannot fire on 4 enemy boats attacking its front, back, left and right sides all at the same time.

i have asked you an intelligent question because nigeria has other missile armed vessels, and you cannot answer how your valour frigate will defend itself on nigerian coast against 4 missile armed fast boats because you have foolishly knocked out the valour frigates ability to fire 4 to 8 Exocet anti-ship missiles simultaneously.

if valour frigate cannot fire Exocet missiles simultaneously, how does it defend itself against 4 missile armed patrol boats speeding up to attack it all at the same time ? they will sink the valour warship, right ?

Show us the amount of force in Newtons that 8 missiles would exert on the body of the ship and also show us if the ship would be able to handle that force. since you say south african education is better than nigeria's you too calculate the force in Newtons units or KgF units and post it. i have been the one doing all mathematical calculations for you south africans since last year december, now over to you sir, do it for us to see

Simultaneous--» Happening or done at the same time with something else. Your "30 second apart" shows you don't know what simultaneous means.

simultaneous pushing of 8 missile firing buttons is different from simultaneous flight of 8 missiles tailing each other 30 seconds distance apart.

all we need is to face the fact that 8 missiles are travelling close tail behind each other to attack a distant target 50km away. thats the point.

leave trivialities and face realities of war. this forum is not an english language vocabulary contest, its all about war.
