As a SWern christian, before you vote for APC due to ethnicity, remember that it is only in SW that your children are struggling with Hijab saga in schools. Igbos have less than 1 percent muslims, yet they, like other well-meaning Nigerians, have condemned a muslim-muslim ticket in a country with a religious demography like ours. It is only during election that they will say, we are one, religion doesn't matter. Immediately after election, MURIC will start telling you why you must give 50/50 appointments in the whole of southwest. When last did you hear from MURIC since APC primaries? ![]() |
If you're from SW and you think a Tinubu/Shettima presidency is right after Obasanjo's 8yrs, Osinbajo's 8yrs, please explain your reason to me and other southerners. If you're from SW and you think Igbos are supporting Obi because he is from SE, do you remember that Chuba Okadigbo was vice to Buhari and they lost in all SE States. OBJ won in all. Also Rochas Okorocha, Orji Uzor Kalu, Chris Okotie and Dave Umahi have contested for presidency. Did you see them getting any support from Igbos even at primary level? Why is it that when a Yoruba person contests for presidency, it is national but when the person is from SE, it becomes Igbo presidency? Please explain what Igbo presidency even means if SE is still in Nigeria. Lastly, less than 1% of SE-terners are Muslims but they , like other enlightened Nigerians openly kick against a Muslim-Muslim ticket but you from SW with all your sophistication do not even understand the dangers of such leadership in a secular and religiously diverse Nigeria? Remember Hijab saga which only happens in SW even in church owned schools. Please explain to me why you support such a ticket. |
seunmsg:North had presidency, senate presidency, and SGF for 4 years. It's the turn of the south to do so. |
Congratulations sir |
Creamypie:From the image, the 2 hands are missing, so I suspected the later |
richie240:Your saviour left the peace in Lagos and ran to his village in London Abi? Mumu talk. |
OldNairalander:aswear, I experienced the same thing. |

Unfortunately, politicians' children no dey enter molue or korope. They are driven in tear rubber SUVs but the masses that keep dying want to vote for them based on stupid sentiments, Una never see anything. |
PrimePerfect:Their day is coming. It will be like a swift wind. |
XerXers:Or Gusau roundabout in Zamfara. Reno and Atiku should as well travel by road from Abuja to Adamawa even with security. Mumu talk |
sunny1729:They're selling here not producing here. It weakens our naira |
We're still celebrating import and not production. We want them to produce here and offer us jobs as they do in China, Vietnam and Cambodia and not to sell to us. The CHEAPEST authentic Nike shoe is between 70-80 USD while ordinary slides cost like 30USD, imagine what we lose with each pay sold in Nigeria. |
Sourvewa:This one enter ooo. Run go register am as trademark cos it will deal a blow on APC when campaigns start |
ochejoseph:Cannot |

If you vote the wrong person due to your religious or ethnic sentiments, no wahala. It is your right to vote who ever you choose. But remember that a child that was born when Buhari started will be 8 years when he will hand over. Therefore, another mistake means that the same child will be 16 years when the next dispensations is likely to end. Don't also forget to add 9 wasted years to your present age as you will be 9 years older in 2031 when the next president may hand over. Voting someone from your tribe or religion will not guarantee you a better life when you're older but a better Nigeria will provide good roads, schools and hospitals for you and your children. I am Igbo but I served in Osun state during my NYSC under Atakunmosa East and later in Olorunda LGA's. I didn't see any single effect of having Obasanjo as the president in rural Osun. The fact that the next Presido is Omoluabi cannot fuel your car or genset. You no fit use am borrow bag of rice for market. Your concern should be to protect your future and that of your children, your vote should go to anyone who you feel can guarantee you that security. To achieve this, we need to focus on electing vibrant people who have the capacity to deliver. I am not telling you to vote for anyone but take your time to think about this. God bless you, God bless our nation. |
asanausana91:You're not making sense right now. How else do they know in the developed world that you earlier mentioned. Is it not by checking their CVs, or do you only refer to the US when it favours your rhetorics? While you think of the above, remember that in US, once you're running for public office, nothing is hidden about you, your academic, health, financial, source of wealth and criminal records becomes available to the public. Now tell me your candidate and if he can furnish us with all these records. |
asanausana91:I guess you got the wrong idea from my statement. Off course he says what he plans to do, how to do it is what he won't start outlining one by one. All other contestants have been saying the same thing and everyone knows our problem. We need to improve infrastructure, we need to boost agriculture, we have to turn around education sector, better healthcare, etc. These problems have been perennial. Previous dispensations promised to do them, were they able to achieve them? No. Obi is saying that those are achievable. He is asking for our votes so that we all can witness in our lifetime that it is possible. That's the message I tried to pass! So if you're normal, this toddler explanation may help you. On the contrary, you're below salvage value. |

AllTheWayUp:You don't reveal secrets to your competitors. He has said it severally that they have mapped out solutions to these problems. |
In our political history, it is usual for our presidents and their political party to hold on to power for 2 tenures which amounts to 8 years except during coups or death. What it means is that, come 2023 elections, if we get it wrong, we will be waiting for another 8 years to make amends. 8 solid years. That will be until 2031. Remember that this present journey started 2015. And we will end it by 2023. To some people, it may sound simple and trivial due to our petty sentiments as a people. These sentiments include but are not restricted to: I. "I want this president because he is from my tribe". II. "He is our darling president because he is from my religion". III. "I support him because he is from my geopolitical zone". IV. "I will campaign and vote for this president because he is my party flag bearer" One thing is clear. These sentiments will NEVER guarantee good quality of life for you, your family, your tribe, religion or the nation at large if the leadership is incompetent. Our main yardstick should always be "who is the best candidate that can offer the majority of our citizens the best quality of life? Who has the best manifesto and enough experience to back it up? Who is least corrupt in their previous careers or official position? Other sentiments can then follow. To put it clearly 1. If you're 32 years by 2023 and you choose the wrong president, you will be 40 years by the time he will be done. Think of how u will feel as a frustrated 40 year old man or woman. 2. If you vote wrongly by 2023, your pikin wey u born even by 2024 may start school in a government school which has no chair or desks and may have to sit on the floor. That is not the future u want for your unborn children. |
Obakoolex:geriatrics are known for sleep apnea. It's natural and comes with old age. |
It was when I left Nigeria that I finally understood why people started wishing one another "happy new month". With time, it may come down to "happy new day". What a shame! |
AllDModsAreMaad:When they chop this ur money now ur eyes go clear. If you want to travel, cool down and ask your friend or relative in the country u want to travel about how best to visit or move there. Besides, don't be desperate about it. |
FiremanX:But they'll soon force you to upgrade by slowing your OS down or introducing a bug that will be draining your battery faster. They did it before means that, they can always do it again. |
Gandollaar:Exactly |
jumper524:You didn't read before commenting. He broke the law, he accepted to pay the fine. What he complained about is that they pointed a gun at him and drove off with his car. That is criminal on its own. The normal thing is to issue him a fine and let him go. |
VeryWickedMan:"definitely"? In science and in life there are outliers. Except u don't know the meaning of the word "definitely" or you meant to say "probably". |
MALIGNANTGuest:That's exactly why Peter Obi is coming. He has been singing it like a song. And every same person knows it's the bed rock on which economic development is built. |
sukkot:What you said is 100% right but there is a condition that MUST be met before Nigerian professors are judged based on your foreign yardstick. Admissions in Nigeria is still based on sentiments such as. A.Quota system B. Catchment areas C. Educationally less privileged D. Gender inclusiveness E. Pro chancellor, Political, and VCs list This is not obtainable abroad where admission is mostly on merit. This makes is easier for both the students and the professors. I hope you acknowledge this fact as well. Peace out! |
I've been to this compound that year. Very close to our Ede NYSC camp. Adeleke family no be child's play for Ede, Osun, Naija and the globe at large. Greetings to all Oshogbo/Olorunda Livingspring Corpers of the late 2000s. |
How does this have any bearing with Presidency? Is this OP expecting a Muslim-Christian or Christian -Muslim gubernatorial tickets from SE or SS where 99.9% of the people are Christians? |
