I know of a southern Sudan that left Sudan and suddenly plunge into recession. The Igbos are not afraid of that. They just want to leave. But yet, the entire country is always on their matter like as if they are the most special tribe in the country. the answer is simple..oil. |
Politics › Re: But Why Is It That Nigeria Do Not Want The Igbos To Leave Them by ahaz: 7:40pm On Feb 14, 2020 |
APCNig: Nigeria does not want Igbos to leave because Nigeria cannot afford to have an independent Biafra nation of drugs beside Nigeria so that Biafra will not turn Nigeria to drug trafficking hub just as Mexico has turned US to drugs country. If Biafra gets independence, in less than three months, all the countries of the world would have placed sanctions on Biafra because Biafra nation will be fully funded by drugs money. When all the countrires of the world sanction Biafra, Biafra will then turn to Nigeria as their(Biafra) drug trafficking route.
However, if Biafra wants to be independent, Bafra should go and find land far away from NIgeria, maybe Israel can give Biafra lands as Biafrans ae the lost Jews of Israel. If not, Biafra will never ever get independence from Nigeria.
But wait ooo, has any Biafran Senator or House of Reps member placed a bill before the National Assebly for Biafra's indepence? NO. these miscreants are just joking. baby talk. |

iwaeda: The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has commiserated with the family of victims of attacks at Auno village, along Damaturu–Maiduguri Road, assuring them that his regime will continually frustrate the devilish operations of Boko Haram, and bring it to an end.
In a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, in Abuja on Monday, Buhari condemned the “murderous and cowardly” attack on innocent passengers by the Boko Haram terrorists near Maiduguri.
During that attack, about 30 people were killed, while many women and children were abducted.
According to the retired general, his regime is determined to frustrate their goal to hold Nigeria to ransom.
He said, “The commitment of this administration to protect the lives of Nigerians will not be derailed by the cowardly and indiscriminate violence against innocent people by Boko Haram terrorists.”
The president, who also condoled with Borno State Government over the attacks, warned that ”terrorists are clearly on a back foot and their days are numbered”.
He added, “As our armed forces continue to receive more hardware and intelligence to counter our current security challenges, the remnants of Boko Haram will ultimately be crushed.
”The peculiar challenges of asymmetric warfare notwithstanding, our Armed Forces are ever determined to defeat these enemies of humanity.”
News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Auno attacks, which took place at about 9.45 pm on Sunday, claimed the lives of innocent travellers, whose vehicles on the convoy were attacked and burnt by the Boko Haram insurgents.
NAN reports that the video clips on the attacks showing burnt human bodies and vehicles went viral on social media on Monday.

Politics › Re: Boko Haram Kills 30 In Maiduguri, Kidnaps Dozens by ahaz: 5:53pm On Feb 10, 2020 |
Dotez: Boko Haram terrorists killed at least 30 people and abducted many women and children in a raid in Borno State, a regional government spokesman said on Monday.
The attack Sunday evening targeted the village of Auno on a key highway linking to regional capital Maiduguri.
The jihadists stormed in on trucks mounted with heavy weapons, killing, burning and looting before kidnapping women and children, state government spokesman Ahmad Abdurrahman Bundi said.
They aimed at travellers who had stopped for the night and torched vehicles.
The attackers “killed not less than 30 people who are mostly motorists and destroyed 18 vehicles,” Bundi said in a statement after visiting the scene.
The attack, some 25 kilometres (15 miles) west of Maiduguri, occurred in an area where fighters from the Islamic State West Africa Province have been active, mounting roadblocks to target security forces and civilians.
Witnesses said jihadists set alight 30 vehicles in the raid, including trucks that had stopped overnight on their way to Maiduguri.
“Many of the drivers and their assistants who were sleeping the vehicles were burnt alive,” civilian militia fighter, Babakura Kolo told AFP.
The jihadists combed through the village, looting and burning shops and property before withdrawing, he said.
Auno lies on the 120-kilometre highway linking Maiduguri to Damaturu, a major regional city in neighbouring Yobe state.
The highway has been increasingly targeted by ISWAP militants in recent months.
The surge has followed the creation of so-called “super camps” by the Nigerian military in the northeast – a strategy under which small army camps have withdrawn from several areas and combined into fewer, larger bases.
Last month four Nigerian soldiers were killed and seven injured when the jihadists attacked troops positioned in Auno.
The decade-long Islamist insurgency has killed 36,000 people and displaced around two million from their homes in northeast Nigeria. The violence has spread to neighbouring Niger, Chad and Cameroon, prompting a regional military coalition to fight the insurgents.
https://punchng.com/boko-haram-kills-30-abducts-dozens-in-maiduguri/amp/ yet after all this heinous crimes the government will set them free when captured in the name of they have accepted Christ... yet some folks are too afraid to see and talk of this impunity but will find there cowardly voices when it involves nnamdi Lani. |

Biodun556: Nigerian airforce is very poor. Lives of soldiers have wasted due to inadequacy of the air force. Plus the fact you cannot order for fight jets anywhere in the World and get them the next day. It's not possible, it takes four to five years.
That's why serious countries that are not in state of war place order for as large as 100 fighter jets in peace time because it will not be easy in war time. E.g Egypt place order for 24 rafale jets, Turkey place order for 100 f35 jets. These are newest fighter jets. More reasons why we will continue to blame past leaders. The alpher jets Nigeria is using is no longer available, no country is using it consequently no availability of spare parts for maintenance.
That aircraft called propeller is what Nigeria can get and unfortunately, it should be the most modern in Nigerian air force fleets. ha we, are in trouble |

Guide777: Good morning Nigeria! How was the night?
Excerpts from Ahiara Declaration By Colonel Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu June 1, 1969
The Biafran struggle is, on another plane, a resistance to the Arab-Muslim expansionism, which has menaced and ravaged the African continent for twelve centuries,
Our Biafran ancestors remained immune from the Islamic contagion. From the middle years of the last century Christianity was established in our land. In this way we came to be a predominantly Christian people. We came to stand out as a non-Muslim island in a raging Islamic sea. Throughout the period of the ill-fated Nigerian experiment, the Muslims hoped to infiltrate Biafra by peaceful means and quiet propaganda, but failed.
Then the late Ahmadu Bello, the Sardauna of Sokoto tried, by political and economic blackmail and terrorism, to convert Biafrans settled in Northern Nigeria to Islam. His hope was that these Biafrans of dispersion would then carry Islam to Biafra, and by so doing give the religion political control of the area. The crises, which agitated the so-called independent Nigeria from 1962, gave these aggressive proselytisers the chance to try converting us by force.
It is now evident why the fanatic Arab-Muslim states like Algeria, Egypt and the Sudan have come out openly and massively to support and aid Nigeria in her present war of genocide against us. These states see militant Arabism as a powerful instrument for attaining power in the world. Biafra is one of the few African states untainted by Islam. Therefore, to militant Arabism, Biafra is a stumbling block to their plan for controlling the whole continent. This control is fast becoming manifest in the Organization of African Unity.
On the question of the Middle East, the Sudanese crisis, in the war between Nigeria and Biafra, militant Arabism has succeeded in imposing its point of view through blackmail and bluster. It has threatened African leaders and governments with inciting their Muslim minorities to rebellion if the governments adopted an independent line on these questions.
In this way an O.A.U. that has not felt itself able to discuss the genocide in the Sudan and Biafra, an O A.U. that has again and again advertised its ineptitude as a peace maker, has rushed into open condemnation of Israel over the Middle East dispute. Indeed, in recent times, by its performance, the O.A.U. might well be an organization of Arab unity. Gen.ojukwu you are truly a great man. what you saw decades ago some gullible haters are still struggling to see clearly even after putting on triple concave lenses are still color blind to the reality of today. |
