congratulations my bosses @hollaytan @obiwann and @Dehonourable my bbm padi..... i remembered the day hollaytan told me he wanted to cancelled his interview cos there was no hope of funding the account.......i felt like crying.... i pray the Almighty Allah send help to every other soul still struggling with funding his/her blocked account...also may Allah make our going to Germany fruitful. @Obiwann how far about the Nipost package....Garri must enter hamburg now..plenty plenty.... for #winter 2016 crew lets get rolling i applied to only two schools Msc Environmental Governance at Freiburg, Msc Environmental Management at CAU Kiel. I GOT ADMITTED AT CAU KIEL. The application for kiel was online and free of charge, only scanned documents were required and an online motivation letter of not more than 4500 words including commas, full stops and space. i hope this is useful to someone. #iwasalsohelped 15 Likes 1 Share |

Also how do I get a cheap means of converting Naira to Euro without going to the mallams? I am gonna try Union bank but I would also appreciate other suggestions. ...called my account officer at union bank some days ago and he confirmed that they do sell PTA (personal travel allowance) but only at their HQ in Lagos.....with PTA you will be buying Euro using the bank official rate......All banks do sell PTA but most of them will complain of not having foreign currency at hand.....Another option is for you to travel with your Master/visa ATM card.... for PTA you only need your passport with valid visa and travel ticket 1 Like |

@obiwann....you can google search "Royal Air Maroc Travel experience"...and do a critical analysis of people's experiences.........and about NIPOST ...its like i will also like to explore the possibility and hopefully i will be able to fly my beloved Emirate airline. |

@oye......you are definitely right, from the research i have been doing since last week....i came to a conclusion that wakanow offers the best rate even better than the airline website(due to exchange rate issues).......but if not for luggage allowance of 30kg on emirate airline..they would have been my choice.......All in all i will also be flying Turkish airline.......23kg X 2.....as you know now 1 bag for foodstuffs... lol......when are you travelling boss ? NB: There is nothing Royal about Air Maroc oooooooo (from a family experience)......The Royal na wash.....then no dey go Hamburg cos Wakanow no they list them for me 2 Likes |

@twinkle Etihad only have flights to Berlin and Frankfurt.., they don't fly Hamburg (Northern Germany).....Most importantly, the cost of the flight depends on when you make the reservation..The nearer to your travel date the higher the cost........All in all Emirate and Turkish airline remains the best option most especially if you flying to Hamburg.(low cost and flexibility).... |

@Nathan2222 Form A is used to pay for any official bills abroad ..,so far you have documents backing it up..e.g school fees, hospital bills, accommodations. The Form A is a kind of regulatory parameter from CBN. Traditionally the money is meant to be paid directly to the official account of the receiving party(school, hospital or hotels). We are having issues with many banks because we are paying directly to our personal accounts abroad and that we shall still have access to the money eventually when we get abroad. So most of the banks are not familiar with paying into personal accounts. Few of the banks has flexible policy/think outside the box and with all the necessary documents they do process the Form A for us....... These are my personal conclusions from critical analysis of banks within Ibadan metropolis. NB German class will soon be commencing at the Department of Foreign Languages, University of Ibadan...let's relate if you are interested 5 Likes |

Ceeesaw: Good morning all, Just decided to kept mute on you asking me about proof of the documents/arrangement in use now because someone posted that few pages back and everybody that did their interview afterward confirms the authenticity ..,which am also doing because i had my interview yesterday......(you might include any document you dim fit but just to clarify that its no more on the new list and you won't be asked for it). @Futurewise For me to be able to ask her questions after the interview kinda tell you how the interview went...Alhamdulilah once again.....thanks to every contributing soul on Nairaland. Maybe i should just recap...how it went after the main interview...... (The VO had told me to put the phone down and she has did same with her headset. VO: Already packing my files and telling me that am done with the interview but i have to wait back for my biometrics as they having issues with their internet. Me: I have some enquiries to make ma'm VO: kindly do that .......(responding with a bright face ). Note: During the interview i have already told her i had initiated the process of funding my blocked account but i am yet to be debited. Me: A friend of mine intend using a sponsorship letter for his studies, through his uncle that resides in Germany but the uncle has travelled out and couldn't get him the letter for now...Can my friend booked for an appointment using the the blocked account and probably have his interview and afterwards when his uncle is back in Germany can he switch to using a sponsor. VO: After the interview ?? No, his application would have been processed by then..so he MUST fund the account. Me: Thank you......hmmmmm so do i make flight reservations (she's already on her feet making photocopies but still listening to me). VO: Though i understands its cheaper to book way ahead, but just try to hold on....please.......you should understand....(politely).... Me: Thank you Ma'm. VO: You welcome(with a smile). Godwins...., He always does.....#Teamkiel #Teamwinter Nice one Sir @observer ...i did try uploading the list.. |
