The lesson here for me is that I must never take the word of any car seller for it. 99% of them are not truthful.

Go with a competent mechanic and physically inspect any car you want to buy.

You can renew it in any NIS Passport Office nationwide.

I don't understand what is going on or does it mean my item is been returned back?
Yes.

NIPOST is currently enforcing a policy of returning all unclaimed packages back to their source. From the tracking, the package has been in your local PO for over 2 months.

Bestman2021:
I contacted the dealer I bought the car from and he assured me that it wasn't a problem, that maybe those mechanics don't have knowledge of Nissan Murano. We both shared the belief that the first mechanic who repaired the cut fan belts and changed the engine oil (Mobil 1) and gear oil for me with NS2 CVT gear oil I bought myself must have tampered with the car unnecessarily and couldn't put it back in shape after.
You bought a lemon period.
Autos › Re: My Bad Experience With Nissan Murano by aieromon(m): 9:59am On Jan 29, 2021
Bestman2021:
I bought a Nissan Murano SUV in December 2020 from a dealer in nairaland, and despite the advice of some mechanics I consulted, I foolishly went with the opinion of the dealer that those mechanics have outdated knowledge and they're dissuading me from buying a cheap SUV I'll enjoy. That once I stick to using NS2 CVT gear oil, and do regular maintenance, I won't have any problems with the car.

So I paid for the car and paid a driver to drive it down to my state for me.
Let's blame Nissan and deflect focus away from the dealer who hoodwinked you into buying an abused car with clean pictures and a cheap price without any form of inspection.

Sorry for the bad experience.

People are buying still but they'll not tell you how, Nigerians and information hoarding.
This is not true. A lot of options have been posted here already.

1. Contact seller to split the payment.

2. Get a dollar debit card or use Barter by Flutterwave. Barter exchange rate fluctuates between ₦470 to ₦480.

3. Use a third party procurement service to purchase the item. They are scattered all over NL,just do your due diligence.

Pls does every parcel land at state capital before being transferred to the local Post Office?
I assume your Local PO is not in Akure.

Yes, the package will touch base in the state GPO usually situated in the capital before it is transferred to your local PO.

Don't worry about the unsuccessful delivery. The receivers at the POs post this update regardless of the final destination of the package. It should be updated when the sorter does his job tomorrow.

You choose to go with people's reviews and I choose to go with API.

By the way, you're yet to share the used oil analysis data to backup your claim for the designer oil with SL rating.

Please open the link I shared with you. It is the American Petroleum Institute directory of engine oil manufacturers licenced to bear the API trademark logo and oil classification on their products.

Thanks Sir. But someone got this for PRIME GUARD OIL. In your post.

I'm planning to buy this oil this week. I want to hear from you in simple terms.
Open the link I shared with you. Any oil certified by the American Petroleum Institute is ok for use. Stick to the recommended oil viscosity of your vehicle and you should be fine.

Another Kazeem bites the dust.

2021 must be very special.

Switch Kazeems and try to be on ground when your car is in the mechanic workshop.

tensazangetsu20:
Its still to low compared to countries like brazil and mexico which Nigeria should be on the same level with. Brazil alone had ten million used car sales. 10 freaking million.
There is no basis for comparison.

Brazil has about 36 automobile manufacturers.

Mexico has about 21 automobile manufacturers.

Their automotive industry is light years ahead.

That's weird but it was there some moments ago. Maybe they are updating their servers but look at even the previous years. Its only like ten thousand people that can afford new cars in Nigeria. Where's the massive market everyone is always yapping about.
Affordability is different from accessibility. Accessibility should come with financing options. Until then, Nigerians will make do with the used cars market where they pay out of pocket without sweat.

I checked the website and didn't see any data for 2020. 775 is a pretty low figure.
