chinchum:
Nonsense. Obasanjo the sanctimonous man. The worst elections ever were in 2003 and 2007( Maurice Iwu comes to mind). Late Yaradua confirmed his election that brought him to government was a rigged election and he will embark on a reform. The worst human rights violation were during his reign( zaki, odi biam). The worst intertribal wars were during his reign( urhobo vs itsekiri) aguleri vs umuleri. Sagamu riot vs northerners, mushin riot vs northerners, kaduna riot, Kano riot e.t.c Most youngies dont know he is a divisive and self centred fellow who like situations that fans his ego.

At the 1999 presidential election, he lost his polling booth and Ogun state MASSIVELY. He was not a candidate yoruba wanted.

I think social media has elevated a lot of atrocities of politicians.
In addition, a breakdown of the 2007 Presidential election result by state is not available anywhere on this planet, all thanks to him and Maurice Iwu.

More bizarrely, the Iwu-led INEC never produced a state-by-state breakdown of the results, the only presidential election with this distinction. The total number of votes won by Yar’Adua also remains the highest ever scored by any candidate.
https://www.pulse.ng/news/politics/2007-presidential-election-how-nigerians-voted/cn0jv2s.amp

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) does not have the full results of the highly controversial 2007 presidential election — and this is official.

The presidential election held on April 21 that year is the first and only in Nigeria’s history in which there is no state-by-state breakdown of the candidates’ scores.

Maurice Iwu, a professor and INEC chairman at the time, declared Umaru Musa Yar’Adau of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with a figure of 24,638,063 votes without giving the detail.

It remains the highest vote ever amassed by an individual in a single election in Nigeria.

Good evening everyone, I'm a first time applicant and I paid for my passport this month, I just printed the guarantors form so I can get it signed ahead, but I'm confused about which part the guarantor needs to fill. As you can see there are 3 sections, are they all meant to be filled by the guarantor? The 2nd section is getting me confused. Please note that I'm not travelling anytime soon, I just want to have it in hand just in case. And where can I get a commissioner of Oath please, and how much does it cost?
Leave Part 2 blank. Guarantor should fill Part 1 and his name in Part 3.

Politics › Tinubu Wins Presidential Election In Ekiti State by aieromon(op): 11:58am On Feb 26, 2023
The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu, has won the presidential election in Ekiti State.

Mr Tinubu won in all 16 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Ekiti State to defeat his closest rivals, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

According to results announced at the State Collation Centre, Mr Tinubu scored a total of 201,486 votes to emerge the winner of the election.

INEC officials at the state collation centre have announced the results of each of the local governments. However, the final tabulation was still ongoing at the time of this report. PREMIUM TIMES compiled the final figures from the official announcements from each local government.

Mr Tinubu’s closest rival, Atiku of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scored over 25 per cent of the votes cast in the state with a total of 89,554 while Mr Obi of the Labour Party got 11,397 votes, thus unable to meet the 25 per cent requirement in the state.

In the next few minutes, Ekiti, one of Nigeria’s smallest states by population and land mass, is expected to be the first of Nigeria’s 36 states and Abuja to formally declare the final result of the presidential.

Ekiti is currently governed by the APC through Governor Biodun Oyebanji. Mr Oyebanji’s predecessor, Kayode Fayemi, is also of the APC and a key supporter of Mr Tinubu.

One popular PDP politician in Ekiti, ex-Governor Ayo Fayose, is also believed to have worked for Mr Tinubu, having joined camps with PDP governors opposed to Atiku.

Before the election, Mr Oyebanji had said the state was indebted to Mr Tinubu and would pay back with massive votes during the election.

We know that not everyone registered was able to collect their PVC for several reasons.
News/rumour has been spreading encouraging registered voters that could not collect their PVC that there is still a possibility to vote by visiting inec website to print out their registration slip and take it to the PU..

Afterall, the PV card is just for identification and is not for accreditation, the registration slip carries the same detail
the BVAS carries the voters full detail

is this a possibility or not? are there any hopes?
Do not attempt to get close to any polling unit without a PVC tomorrow.

1. Is the Local Government Letter of Identification that of the parents or of the child/ren?

2. Is it the Letter of Identification from the Local Government of Origin or the Local Government of Birth of the Children. For context and clarity, I'm from Ondo State but I'm based in Ebonyi State and my children were born in Abakaliki, Ebonyi LGA, Ebonyi State.

3. Is there any specific requirement/criteria for the person to be used as guarantor as per the Completed and Stamped Guarantor's form?

4. Can you direct me to a sample of parent's letter of consent?
1 & 2 - Parents. Your NIN slip will suffice in lieu.
