The Returning Officer for the election, Maduebibisi Iwe, announced this on Monday at the State Collation Centre.
Background Although results from the 17 local government areas in the state have been collated and announced as of Sunday night, the declaration was delayed due to allegations of irregularities in three local government areas by some agents of political parties.
PREMIUM TIMES reported that at the collation centre, on Sunday, the Labour Party (LP) agent, Eugene Edeoga, demanded the cancellation of results from Nkanu East over alleged non-usage of BVAS during the election at the council area.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) agent, who identified himself simply as Uzo, also demanded the cancellation of results from Nsukka Local Government Area over alleged irregularities.
The party agent for New Redemption Party also demanded the cancellation of results from Enugu East Local Government Area, alleging that there were cases of voter intimidation and suppression in the area.

Education › Re: Statistical Analysis Of INEC Result On IREV by aieromon(m): 10:14pm On Mar 17, 2023 |
Obinoscopy: I know you to be very versed so I will engage you.
Why do you think its biased? The sampling is based on those who voted and the results are on IREV. Even though Lagos had a lower turn out in terms of percentage however Lagos still have more voters in terms of numbers. 1. If there was 95% turnout, allocating more Lagos PUs in the sample would have been ideal. However, this is not reliable when we look at the actual turnout:- Lagos - 13,325 PUs vs 1,347,152 accredited voters ~ 101 votes per PU. Jigawa - 4,522 PUs vs 961,670 accredited voters ~ 213 votes per PU. I use accredited voter data because some of the uploaded EC8A result sheets were cancelled at the Ward/LGA collation centres for various reasons. What stops Analyst B from pulling more units from Jigawa into his/her sample? 2. For states where the candidate won all the LGAs, bias will be minimised. It becomes complicated when attempting to sample PUs from states where the candidates shared LGA wins. Take for example Kaduna results: PDP - 554,360 in 14 LGAs APC - 399,293 in 2 LGAs LP - 294,494 in 7 LGAs |

BluntCrazeMan: But Mark Essien worked on 159K+ results.. Crosschecked and validated sheets - 123,918 Unsure, cannot be used - 39,232 Total ==> 163,150iREV portal as at 2.52pm==> 166,524123,918 divided by 176,846 gives 70%. That leaves 52,928 PUs (39,232 unvalidated + 13,696 missing on the iREV portal). A breakdown of the un-analysed polling unit results by state tends to favor the APC with the PDP taking 2nd position if one compares with the already announced results. This must have prompted Mr. Essien to abandon ship as it appeared to be an exercise in futility.

BluntCrazeMan: Meanwhile, out of the 159K+ results,, 34K+ were so blurred, and couldn't be read properly. Original signed copies of the EC8A are available with INEC while duplicates were handed to party agents. There is simply no path to a LP victory even after discounting manipulated EC8A result sheets based on the iREV data. |

Pls, can you deduct the number of blurred/invalid photos for each of the LGAs, and for each of the States too - based on the data of blurred/invalid photos as made available by him??
And then,, the number of corrected results for each of the LGAs, and for each of the States too - based also on the data made available by him..
NO VEX BRO..
So Much Thanks. so you have no idea on how to run the analysis? - 70% of the result sheets (123,918 PUs) were cross checked and validated. APC had the lead. - There were uncompleted tallies for Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara. If those results are eventually tallied, PDP would move up to 2nd place with APC still being in the lead (based on the announced results). There is a reason why the originator abandoned the process. |
Education › Re: Statistical Analysis Of INEC Result On IREV by aieromon(m): 9:15am On Mar 17, 2023 |
Already doomed to be biased from the start point. Take Lagos for example, the turnout was 19% compared to Jigawa which had 42%.
You have 94% of the results on ireV. It might be time consuming but not impossible to tally. |

I got there past 1, and the security man asked for appointment slip. He also asked for my account officer, I told him had none. After gaining access into their compound, another guy asked for my appointment slip, and he told me to go inside. Nobody asked for financial inducement from me. On getting into the main hall where people are sitted, ready to be captured, I saw the same man, Mr Bello. He asked me to go and get a white file outside, and a woman who run printing business was able to do everything for me. She sold white file to me, and perforated the file with my name written on it. I gave the file back to Mr Bello, and checked everything, after that, he told me to go and sit down. I sat for hours before I was called for capturing. I did everything without hassle. One thing I note about Mr Bello is that, He doesn't take non sense. I saw him telling his colleagues that anyone that is not scheduled for a particular day should not come for capturing. Some of his colleagues are collecting money and doing sort of things for people. Any time people are shouting and angry, he would come and douse the tension with sweet words. The man is such a great servant. Three gbosa for Officer Bello. We need more people like him. |

In a bid to recover their monies, some Nigerians who were scammed in the OBA Global eCommerce fraud have petitioned the Canadian government.
In one petition against OBA Global which was sighted by Chronicle NG, they are seeking government intervention to recover their funds and to arrest those who perpetrated the crime.
Chronicle NG had reported that a White lady, simply identified as Lynn, is the front for the scam that deceived hundreds of Nigerians most of whom are based in Canada.
A screenshot of phone numbers received by Chronicle NG reveals that most of the masterminds are Nigerians and that they exited WhatsApp groups created to convince their fellow countrymen shortly after the scam was uncovered.
In one petition sent to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, a victim explained that at least one of the perpetrators, Jude Oba, was planning to flee to Nigeria. He urged the police to put the Customs on alert.
The Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre was also petitioned by some of the victims of the OBA Global scam. https://www.chronicle.ng/2023/03/oba-global-nigerians-file-petition-canada/ |

I was like fun ki ni (For what) He then said I should call anybody I know that is the modus operandi. I ignored him went to meet another Officer Adeyemo and told him my purpose as per DIY, he pointed at an officer BELLO at servicecom (Seated at one corner). I told him I have an appointment to.. before I could land he requested for my documents, vetted the documents and asked me to write an application which I did, he then asked me to seat.
After about 10minutes I went to meet him he told me he’s about taking my file inside. The officer BELLO was extremely polite and professional.
I waited for about 30 minutes before I was called for capturing. After capturing I was given a paper with my name and sum numbers.
Before leaving the hall I tracked my application, passport production in progress. I didn’t spend a dime till I left about 12noon.
