DrKlever: honestly i don't have any words to say.. was just laughing all through the duration of the match. This is probably the worst team to wear Nigeria colours. No positive from the game, it's just a national disgrace.. No fighting spirit, no hunger, the most painful part is that the players ain't even good looking.. Bunch of ugly old men with falsified ages yet playing a style of football that best describes their looks. spits! you don't need this. What baffles me most was how some folks were asking that chances should be given to players like osas, eze, orji to fight for shirt in the Super Eagles' defence. Players who can't organise themselves to keep an offside track. They were just opening spaces for the Morocans to run into. I didn't know if it was the rain, but the defenders I saw today are not mobile and were easily overrun. |

Icon4s: Keepers are not screened only from training pitches where the atmosphere is a relaxed one.
The real match day Scenarios remains the best. that's why I had to restrain myself from joining the train after his heroics as reported against Sudan. Na so de want Uzoho to take charge because of his performance in 45min. |

Joebie: Ezenwa is not far better than Ajiboye. You are just emotional after the loss. They are in the same league. EMOTIONAL YOU CALL IT? How do you explain a keeper who keep serving the opponent goals on a platter of gold. He was busy punching the balls down to their feet as if it is a drill section in training. Ezenwa is ahead of them all.#fact. |

Joebie: Amuneke and Siasia will have been better options working under Rohr. This is not a verdict based on today’s result alone. those boys are not the best in our leagues(NPFL & NNL). The defence was just wack. No coordination, no strategy, no organisation nothing nothing. We suffered humilation in the hands of a decent side. |

Against Sudan everybody was singing Ajiboye's name. He did try by bringing us to the final.
Ezenwa may have his own lapses but he is far better than the lots.
Ajiboye lacks simple AWARENESS. He can't even spot the run and positions of opponents in his front. He contributed to 2 of those goals.
No wonder Rohr said he is not in his plan. Rohr has Insight. Ajiboye is not SEs quality. |

Icon4s: I am also not satisfied with him either. Not just him, but any of the goalies.
Threat from an Angola, Sudanese or a homebased Guinean side is nothing compared to what is obtainable at the regular AFCON and WC qualifiers let alone the WC.
As I said before, It is going to be a tough tough decision for Rohr to assign Uzoho as first choice, no matter the amount of personal training and coaching he receives.
The WC is for men. Brutal truth. One can have a 15 year old as a striker at the world cup. But the goal keeping department must and should never be joked with. The goalkeeper will always make the difference between a win, a draw and a loss. The goalkeeper determines the result of a match. |

forgiveness: Honestly, the most impressive Nigerian player for me this season is Ndidi. He has really improved his game.
Though I didn't see the first half today but from what I saw in the second half today, it is very clear Iheanacho enjoys playing from the deep. He doesn't like being isolated upfront.
In the match he scored two goals, there was something he did that really confirmed his confidence has been restored. It was the ball he tapped up before smatching a shot that was goal bound but blocked. This was from the highlight though.
That was captivating to say the truth.
Now, this is what I am talking about. You must play well before going to Russia and now that he is playing well. EOD.
I really thank Rohr for declaring he would only take players playing regularly for their clubs to Russia. Hehehehe,!
That statement gave many players hope to fight for shirt. And that is the reason Success, Ujah, Ideye, Etebor and Musa fast fast go look for club.
Now, this is interesting. you too saw that moment of confidence... I thought I was only having it played out in my mind and probably was just exaggerating the skill. That match was against Fleetwood town. I saw the highlight of his assist and the goal bound shot blocked by a swansea player(though I was expecting him to hit the ball straight away with his right foot) during the goal rush while watching man-u today. I'll say he is fit again. |

Mujtahida: Let Yashin. Russian. Only gk to have won ballon d'or got the chance to watch his documentary. Dude revolutionize the act of goal keeping. It was said of him to be the introducer of ball punching, initiated fast counter-attacks by throwing the ball and so on. Most of his tricks were adopted and are still been used by modern day goal keepers. In short dude was rock solid in goal. He was arguably one of the best if not best to have stand in between the sticks. |

She last played for the Superfalcon during the qualifiers for the 2016 Edition of the AWCON in Cameroon against Senegal. Thanks... You're doing a great job here. |

Etc would be a big blow to the team.. Let wait and see the list of players they would be invited for the Friendly game against France. On Ighalo, here is my PERSONAL view with some stat.
ODION IGHALO is not yet a Sure Starter in the GWG. Dude gets lot of competitions.
The notion that he is the First Choice Striker is pure Fallacy.
Under Rohr, Ighalo only made the bench ONCE in Rohr's first 5-6 games. Kelechi and Ideye(he led once alongside KI against Zamb) were the ones leading Eagles attack. Kelechi went on to score in 4 of those matches.
Odion was recalled after the defeat to SA to re-inforce the attack and he scored against Cameroon in the 4-0 win going on to feature in two more games ending with the 1-0 win against Zambia in Uyo without scoring.
*3matches 1goal*
He started those games because of Kelechi's loss in form.
The truth of the matter is that Dude will have to FIGHT to get back to the starting 11 and If KI hits and continues in his top form. I see the fight becoming fiercer.
Note: Don't forget Nacho brings another skill set into the team-HIS FREEKICKs and that will always be a plus for a team who lacks specialist in dead ball kicks and that alone can give him d edge over Odion.
I don't have anything against any player but the truth I must say. Though it might be too hard to swallow.
O PARI! |

NDIDI came off the bench to replace Mikel against Algeria. The match took place after the first WCQ against Zambia. Where he started as RB. Nigeria won 3 goals to 1. It was also a WCQ game. |

Ndidi got his first call up by Oliseh and was subed in for Mikel against CAM (friendly game). Under Rohr. He came on as sub for Mikel against Tanzania. Started as RB against (Zambia first leg) due to lack of personnel at the RB. Came on as a sub again against Algeria(first leg). He got his first start as DMF in a friendly game against Senegal pairing Onazi before the latter got injured. Since then he has went on to start every game for the SEs though he was UNCONVINCING in the early parts of those games. Recently, Ndidi just began replicating his club performance in the national team. |

Kog45: Sir did you really played the game cos i realised those who played the game always understand it better, this is the advantage Guardiola had over Mourinho.
Despite Germany victory in confederation cup did you realised the regulars in the team that missed the confederation cup still form the bedrock of the team
A good coach who knows what he is doing will only address where he is having issues in the team. The only success story in our Argentina match is the discovery of Idowu and Uzoho meaning LB is fix and likely goalkeeper issue.
If i may ask what led to our discussion? you asterisk Ighao's name which i disagreed now you are bringing another angle into it that those who missed Argentina game needs to work to make the team, quite agreed but no coach would used a victory in a friendly match to shut the door on some of his reliable just cos they missed the match which is not intentional but due to injury.
Mind you irrespective of the outcome of Argentina match i can bodily tell you that Victor Moses,Ogeny Onazi,Odion Ighalo will walk back straight into the team.
Sorry to say this asterisk of Ighalo and not asterisk Onazi or Victor Moses shows that you don't rate Ighalo cos the duo too missed Argentina match if we want to follow your reasons.
I will not deceive you for now Rohr doesn't joke with Mikel Obi,Victor Moses,Odion Ighalo,Leon Balogun, Ndidi Wifred,Ogenyi Onazi,Ekong Troost and newly added are Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi, these nine players are sure banker and likely starter at WC. don't get me wrong... You need to understand the context of the discussion. No one is saying he won't make it into the team. I repeat Ighalo won't stroll in to the starting line-up without a fight. #fact. |

soetanoreoluwa: What of Vic Moses? I have also held on to this claim. That V. Moses is an undisputable starter anytime anyday. Not untill the Argentina's match. Victor is a versatile player and one of the best in the team. His ability gives him an edge over others. But we can never tell what can happen. He missing out in the starting eleven will depend on ATTITUDE and FORMATION the coach intends using. |

Kog45: I disagreed totally on Ighalo, pls remove that asterisk on his name, hope you know Ighalo is ahead of Iheanacho in eagles presently. Ighalo's last game in GWG was against Zambia. He will need to fight his way back into the starting 11. Same goes for Onazi, M. Simon, Elderson who have been out due to injuries. This is one of the reasons I like this team. You slack like this, you move to the bench. Nacho, Iwobi, Ndidi have had to sit and watch from the bench. So, I don't see Odion been an exception. The only player in that team that is an undisputable starter is MIKEL. As long as he is fit he'll always start. Others, must fight. |
