jihday: Algeria you say? bros that Algeria lost out at the group stage at the last afcon, they've used 3 coaches during these qualifiers wey never finish. I can bet that Tahiti will give Algeria a good game if they play now. Sir, you and I know that our darling super eagles couldn't even make it to the group stage. I am in no way hyping the Zambians. But defeating Algeria home and away is no joke. Especially at their backyard. Their recent poor outings have made you forget who they are and what they are capable of doing anytime anyday. |

Mujtahida: Your observations on the lapses of the team in the absence of the trio is right but it doesn't mean we don't stand a chance against them. Two things have have colored your judgement regarding our chances without the guys you mentioned: our loss to South Africa and Zambia's resurgence upon defeating a fracked up Algerian side. Toe to toe we match if not better them in every dept save goal keeping. No. It's been a while have been observing this it preceds the camping in france. We often lack idea going forward in the absence of the duo. We tend to sit back and defend more or report to hoof balls without them. That's was one of the reason we struggled against a lowly rated Corsica(that's if they are ranked by Fifa), senegal in those friendlies . If you've noticed Rohr no longer sub the duo earlier as was the order of the day before. That's why v. Moses is often left behind to initiates attack. |

If u no score na bench straight. Very soon goals/assists targets will be set for defenders which they must meet. Hahaha... It's all about STAT now! |

Mujtahida: Yes, we stand a chance. Why not? Because of south Africa? Without these trio it would be our squad against SA. But consider we lost to SA because they had more experienced guys than our team which is not the case for this current crop of Zambian u-20 team without Sakala Fwayo and Sinkala. to be real with ourselves presently, we'll struggle against any side without Balogun, Mikel, and Moses. Reason been that.: 1. We hardly create chances in the absence of Mikel and/or V. Moses and this render our attack impotent anytime de don't play. Go check our previous outings without these two. 2. Our defence struggles in the absence of Leon and commits unnecessary errors. The truth of the matter is that 'we ain't there yet' (in Chief Icon4s voice). I now see reason with Sir Icon4s on Iheanacho's abysmal performances as a lone striker-it was simply due to the absence of our orchestrators... I hope Rohr will fix this before the World cup proper. Icon79: Where's Ndidi? But I do like your ranking tho.
Meanwhile, here's how I would rank them:
1. John Mikel Obi 2. Oghenekaro Etebo 3. Wilfried Ndidi 4. Joel Obi 5. Okechukwu Azubuike 6. Ogenyi Onazi 7. John Ogu 8. Mikel Agu
*Alex Iwobi is more of a support striker than your normal CM
O pari I didn't include Ndidi/Agbo because de are DMFs. I only ranked Iwobi a little lower to Etebo because he is less versatile(he can't play the CMF role) and mobile compare to Karo Etebo. |

Aside other abilities and qualities other CMF/AMF brings to the table. Joel Obi thumps all of them with his scoring ability.
imagine us havin the two Obis on the pitch at the same time-there combo will be mouth watering. |

Here is how I rate and rank our CMF/AMF Players. 1. John Mikel Obi 2. Joel Obi 3. Oghenekaro Etebo 4. Alex Iwobi 5. Ongenyi Onazi 6. Okechukwu Azuibuke 7. John Ogu 8. Mikel Agu. |

komekn: I am looking at that position and making let's say creating some ideas. Albeit from my backyard. Aside S. Ojo who is a natural LW. Who else do you think can man the LB position. I hope it's time Rohr begins to experiment with other formations with 3 man defence Since we have more attack minded potent defenders in Aina, Ebuehi, ojo(if he is ready to play for naija) who can also fit in easily at LWB to complement v. Moses at the other side. |

Icon79: I believe that I have made a similar observation regarding Ndidi. For some reasons, he doesn't boss the game for the Super Eagles the same way he bosses for Leicester. I don't know what the problem is .... is he not giving a 100% when he plays for Nigeria? Anyway, I will give him one more chance against Zambia before I get on his case.
O pari there are so many part of his game that needs improvement if he is going to develop into a world class baller. |

Of course they don't succeed all the time *laughing* look at what happened to our neighbours(u sabi dem no need bringing dem here d dust is already settling down) against uruaguay at the 2010edition. I was like y call for penalty when the ball has already crossed the line- I no se na wayo to reduce the scoring chance by 1/2. |
