Mickael2:our players were to passive at that tournament. Eminike's goal was no offside to start with, they took out Onazi with a red card worthy tackle yet still none of them complained-Mikel was just there smiling etc. Our players need to be a bit aggressive-I no like all this gentleman football |
Magink:It's a tradition here to welcome every new comers. So if I'm not mistaken, this is my first time of seeing your moniker here. You are highly welcome Sir/Ma. Hope to see more of you here. |
Icon4s:Good move. We no de call you Baba for Calling sake. Na you go be the head of the conflict resolution and peace building committee... I'm suggesting Sirs tbaba and Terzurum5 to join you. |
BascoVanVeli:Hope so. But the league is still young and they ain't playing in the Championsleague. Don't forget he also plays as a DMF for his club and he plays with lesser intensity compare with what their attackers(vardy, Okazaki...) are made to go tru. |
Kog45:Sir, have you watched him play recently? Though Ndidi is a great tackler, he seems to be having problems with the ball at his feet. I don't even know what is happening to him- maybe he is been overused. |
libero808:the LB position is glaring for everyone to see. It needs 'strengthening' asap after qualification. |
kennysville:I think that's where he needs to improve on his game. Dude wins balls with neat tackles and go on to loose them both in d SEs n LCF. |
Icon4s:Hopefully they will heed to your advise this time around. I don't think know they know this ppl. Those people are ready to turn this place to another Kick-Off Nigeria. |
PietroRico:Good one there Man. A great step in a +ve direction. I now see a man who is ready to make peace. |
Joebie:I have this feeling that Musa will excel under a different manager either @ Leicester or somewhere else... |
Joebie:beautiful one there. Thanks for the update. Waiting patiently for the list. |
Generally, have learn't so much on this thread, from sports, culture, health, education etc. One of those was during a discussion on importance of education on Sportsmen. Sir Mujtahida drop his own view along with a hint on a certain book written by Gatto, I had to go find that book got the e-copy and the hard copy and truly reading it has been a blessing and an eye-opener. Thanks Man. I hardly comments/visit other threads outside the national team threads. But I'll have come to appreciate the tolerance of Sirs Forgiveness, Icon4s, Kog45, Komekn, TheGoodJoe, Enomakos, Mikael2, Safarigirl and everyone else who have recieved and handled well their own share of attack either from new comers or those who've been here for a long time but do have offdays once in a while. Thanks for your wisdom. Finally, I'll implore everybody who intends to join this beautiful thread to take time and read the first 2-3pages to have a clue of those people who this thread are made up of. Thanks. *NOTE* NOT ALL MENTIONS OR POST ARE MEANT TO BE REPLIED. No need of bringing oneselve down low in the name of putting people in their places. Silence is said to be the best answer to a fool. CHEERS!!! Outta here |
One more thing on the hullabalo. The strength of a man doesn't lies in how skilled he is in fighting back when provoked but it lies in his ability to put himself under control or restraint. @PietroRico, you shouldn't have gone all the way to bring his mum into this. You goofed big time and Saying sorry is not always a sign of weakness. I expect you to apologies... |
I often told you @TheSuperNerd that you ain't the only one who loves the super eagles and Kelechi. but you've always allow your emotion to get control over you. It's true folks have foreign clubs they pay loyalties too but it doesn't take the love of their own national team away no matter how cold it maybe at that moment(everybody has once passed through this stage). I bet u, If England happens to be paired against Nigeria none of this your 'english football apologies' will drum support for the english players between that 90mins. Even if Nigeria is loosing by 10goals with any of their club stars scoring hat-tricks-they 'll feel dejected and happy just the way you'll feel because they are Nigerians forget all this mere talks. |
This beautiful thread is gradually loosing it. The numbers of men with high school boys reasoning in the thread are on the increase. I'm really disappointed in thesupernerd who has refuse to grow despite rubbing minds with the elders on this forum(atleast you've been here for not less than two yrs or so)... One needs to know that not everybody will agree with you on issues. Opinions differs with people and one has to accept people for who they are. Of a truth it's a faceless forum and people think nothing matters when it comes to the internet/social medias. But I must confess it's a wrong admission. One, the internet never forgets-this is one hell of a truth. Don't ever think that what you said today will go unnoticed. Nope, someone somewhere is taking note and you don't know by who, when or where those words will be dug up and be use for or against you. Over the years I have come to the terms that the 'real' people are not those whom we come across offline but those who meet online. Yes, those who hide behind pseudo-names called monikers. Faceless forums shows one's true picture, it unmask those attitudes/behaviours the offline society has tamed/covered-because it's the only medium the untamed beast is fully unleashed with the notion that 'no one knows me'. *smiles* |
maidaboi:NO B BAD BELLE O O O! He is the strongest and reliable CB we've got for now and we can't afford to loose him to injury. He can even be in the pre-starting line-up but make we qualify first. I couldn't believe what I saw with his performance in our last two matches. He seem too be the defensive version of John Obi Mikel. He put in that great performance after just returning from injury-I doubt if he even had any game time in his club prior to those encounters. |
maidaboi:I am not yet sold on the two. |
Joebie:I no like to de see this guy start for im club anytime eagles get important match to play. |
Pep Guardiola of Africa has done it once again! Kudos to the man Sunday Oliseh! |
TheGoodJoe:If Leicester will be making any mark this season- one thing they'll have to do is change their coach/manager. How can you have a team comprising of Slimani(I still rate this dude), Vardy, Mahrez, Oka, even our own Musa in the front and still can't harness these potentials to play a decent game that will make you a mid-table team still baffles me. |
After reading comments on how nacho has faired so far in Leicester. I can only shake my head. The boy hasn't even played 90 competitive minutes and some are already writing him off- just like that? You guys make it look has if he hasn't score in ages even though he muster a goal via a calm header while injured yet still he is move has already been tag a potential failure. O gaa o o. I watched him against chelsea and I saw a guy who's happy playing again... His touches has improved a bit and that alone can make the difference-considering the kind of player he is. Let spare him some space-he'll soon be back and peradventure if he fails to live to expectation in leceister he can always go somewhere else to revive his career... That's how many wrote off Taiwo but slowly and steadily the dude has started banging in goals again in belgian(if I'm right) topflight... We forget quickly that these guys are barely 20/21. I wonder what will be said of Nacho if he had such a stagnation. Well if Slimani, Success who were bought for less than £30m are tagged waste men then what will be said of Kaka, Bale etc who were outstanding before their moves which cost those clubs fortune? |
freshest4live:leceister has been poor generally, no thanks to their coach. He is too rigid and lacks idea. Na one way football dem sabi play. |
Welcome Back @Sir Orkpekyandega. Hope to see BlackAlbino6 too. |
2lola:that should be King Osanga... I can still remember that long range shot against Spain with De Gea in goal. It was from the center line. That set had the likes of Orelesi, Ajiboye, Rabiu, Chrisantus, etc they were so promising... But I think the death of their boss then Coach Tella was one of the reason most of them went into oblivion. Cos only very few of them made it to Cairo 2009 U-20 World Cup. Where Orelesi scored a Zappacosta's exquisite goal from the left which tore the net... |
Moses will get his share of games and not only against lesser oppositions. All New EPL comers will fizzle out by January-this is not new... All the initial gragra go don subside by then and only seasoned premier league players will still be performing. All this Shout about Mendy, Morata, Danilo, Lacazette etc go die down soon. Watch out. |
Just had the opportunity of watching the ongoing WAFU competition. I'm so far pleased with the level of play showed by the participants. I must commend these players and their coaches. |
TheSuperNerd:you see now, and I told you never to show her his apartment, but you went all the way to make him her tour guide. That guy is supersmart, all he needs to convince someone is just a wink... |
K. Nwakali scored for VVV Venlo on his debut. He came on at 75th minute and struck at 91st minute to earn his side a draw away to Groningen. |
safarigirl:thanks. |
adegwurulez:this guy's injury problem is something else. |
Does anyone know When our home base super eagles will be playing their first WAFU game? |
libero808:was just refering to earlier posts on mikel made by other forumites. It'll be too early to drag you into this. Just watch and enjoy the thread created by Sir Terzurum5 |
