I used only an O'level of 2001 to apply for B.Sc and I got my TRV December, 2015. It ain't an issue whether it was 6years ago or 1day ago, all that matters is how you present your point.(Unfortunately there is little I can share on this page)

Like I said again NEW and UNCONFIRMED from what I heard they are enforcing from January.

I apply for 1yr certificate course in Electrical engineering, though my undergraduate was mech.Eng but I have some practical electrical experiences

At the moment, I'm not working in any engineering related company but my agent stated in the form that I have been working since the completion of my nysc with electrical experience

I also paid my first semester tuition fee, but we have mail the for refund.

I got to know about this forum after I have employ d service of an agent and submitted my application.

Gurus in house I need ur input on how to tackle this reasons given in my next application.

I think there is a new rule against applicants who finished school before 2010 that's 5 years before applying. Just heArd that is the new cic standard sha. My unconfirmed opinion oooooo.

I arrived canada today. It was a very easy and straight forward process with the immigration. No questions.

In filling the application for study permit made outside Canada at fund section , how do I fill it as my company is sponsoring my tuition fees,room and board for the first year. I am paying for other expenses such as flight bookings, books/supplies and health insurance.

In one of the section that stated that my fund will be paid by: 1. Myself 2. Parent 3. Other

Can I choose other: and write employer and myself

As I have stated in my SOP that I will be paying for other expenses stated above, and I intend to show that in my application. But I can only choose one option.

You have said it all, select others and specify company and self and make sure u explain that in your Sop, if your company is swearing an affidavit of sponsor for you it should also be stated what they are sponsoring, it should also be written in the letter from your company. Just look for an easy way for the VO to understand how u intend to cope there. My little knowledge oooo

Congratulations I think you will get your letter together with your stamped passport.

Just go to vfs after 7 days to pick it up, to be on a safe side.

Thanks for the input, I think i have been passing the wrong idea, in my application I stated that a company was sponsoring me, I didn't state it was owned by my maternal uncle. Pls pardon me with my questions, thanks for ur input in advance.
How do I show relationship with the company?
Must I work with a company first before I can be supported?
Can't a company sponsor who they want provided they have funds?


Anyways, they plan to employ me wen I come back from school since my discipline suits the needs of the company. Would this add anything positive to the application if they state this cos they didn't state it in the first app, they tot that since they have provided a declaration letter, CAC, tax clearance and SOA, That it was enough.

You have said it all. If your uncle is the CEO and he has enough money in His account why not use him as your sponsor instead, with an affidavit of sponsorship and employment letter it will be very easy for you. But if u still want to use the company, then getting the employment letter and an affidavit stating that they are sponsoring you so you can come back and fill up a certain position in the company will be very nice.

Everyone seems to ignore my post, please I really need to be clarified good or bad so I rest my case... I applied oct 23rd, medical Nov 13th, passport dispatched Dec 9th, no medical passed mail, no approval mail... paper route. What's my fate?

Just keep your fingers crossed since its paper route. We can't really tell until you retrieve your documents from vfs after 7 days.

After 7 days it week be at vfs. You will get a mail from Vfs before then.

Where I am studying is exactly where my Canadian family is is it wise if I just leave out the fact that I even know anybody in Canada?

That is exactly what I did. I didn't mention I have family there. So as not to make ties in canada stronger that home ties

Please experienced/ gurus in the house. When I tracked my passport last week on Vfs website it said it was dispatched on the 2nd December . -and they said it was in transit.Today I received a mail from Vfs saying it was dispatched on the 9 th December from Accra . Please what does this mean .

AND this is my second app. I was refused due to insufficient funds for my first app with the same sponsor as the closing balance was just about 300k them and I also forgot to add my deposit receipt. So in my new application I stated in my sop and my Sponsorship letter that my sponsor has selected the option of paying a semester at a time so it will be convenient for him. Was a very simple application. I just trusted God and it was approved just after 5 days after medical.

Please make sure u reapply with thesame documents and boost the soa and also write a convincing sop staying that your sponsor will pay per semester to maker it convenient for the sponsor. All they wanna see is consistency. I was refused on the same grounds on my first application.

What does it mean?. I haven't done my medical yet, or is it just my passport that is being sent back to me

dont worry if this is your first time just get the documents and find out the reason for the refusal and address it then u are good to refire.
