Hello the bills could ve been sent to u in error. call them up and tell them it was included in the maternity package it happened to me when i had my baby in Houston n they actually called letter to apologise.

If they dont agree then call them and say it wasnt in ur budget so u need to negotiate price downward

all d best

Alemo50:
Hi. A word of caution for those who plan to use Delaware County Memorial Hospital (DCMH): Expect more bills after paying the full maternity package. My wife delivered there after we had paid the so called self-pay maternity package of $7500 (6000 for delivery, 1500 fro antenatal care). After delivery we received a bill of around $3000 or so for anaesthesia. Then another bill for paediatrician. Today again, another one called physician bill. I don't know when the bills will stop coming: am I to expect nursing bill? JOHESU bill? Etc. I seriously regret using them now. Just for those who do not know. The funniest thing was that their financial person told me that after I had paid the full maternity package, all I needed to pay more is anaesthesia fee, which would just be a couple of a hundred dollars, but she was wrong. At any rate, it was her word against mine

The amount of people not using condoms these days worries me. Wit all d monies spent on Ads saying Aids no de show for face. Wen u slept with her without protectIon did ur educated mind not tell u d Possible outcome.

It's not only women that commit mutiple abortions that can end up barren believe me it goes both ways men who encourage such will get such fate too.

Enjoy.

Hi I don't think the child will become the Property of the US government if he does not give his consent. Where did I get such info?

You can check www.travelstate.gov

Yeah ! U don't need to send a consent letter BUT IT IMPLIES UR WIFE IS A SINGLE MUM n guess wat UR CHILD AUTOMATICALLY becomes an America GOVERNMENT PROPERTY (whom can't be taken out of d USA)

@Kizluv

She is not single officially. On paper she is still married. how can she still get passport without my consent. If she can get passport without my consent, whats the purpose of this step by US government.
I want to give consent, but I just want them to talk with me properly and inform me what wrong doing they did properly so that we can rectify.

If suppose my child is not able to get passport, he can still get later on from the consulate if all issues are resolved later on.

Sorry for keeping thread flooded with my queries. I shall stop soon to enquire once I got a complete guideline.

At this point u should think about the best interest of your wife and Child. Make no mistake if u dont give your consent the Childs documents will bear the name of the mother then u will ve to explain to your child one day the reason for this. Seriously not giving ur consent will hurt u more than any1 else. look on the bright side at the age of 21 the child can make u an american citizen. u need to MAN up and face your responsibity and family . something is not right for ur inlaws to threat u this way .m guessing they are upset about something major u did. The birth of a Child is a thing of Joy its very unfair for U , Ur Wife and UR inlaws to be in this state instead of welcoming the child like a treasure it is.

Lets face it if your inlaws feel u abandoned ur responsibily of providing for your child i understand them not wanting to share info with u. Part of being a man is to take a stand and say its my Child and My wife will have the child where i can afford instead of letting your inlaws pay for the birth. When u gave your consent for them to fund the process u gave ur consent for them to do so anyway they seem fit. Letting ur inlaws pay for the birth of ur child was ur mistake swallow ur pride n look for a way forward. you dont expect them to be answerable to you like the boss right?

Like i said be4 not giving ur consent will hurt u more than any1. Ur Consent is to agree that u the father of the Child and the child can share your surname. U cant use that as a bargaining chip . or will u prefer for the child to bear ur Father INlaws name.

Please I don't want to ruin this valuable thread by my bad experience. I am very worried that's why asking all possibilities

Me and my were not on good terms. My father in las forced me to let her go for delivery. They kept me ignorant. however I always asked them to pay by cash. Which they didn't I just come across the situation now when they asked for the consent and in return I asked for the receipts.

Please advise me properly how I can get rid of situation where I don't ruin my future chances of visa. shouldn't I write to American embassy here and tell all the wrong stuff did by my in laws and cancel my visa.

They ask for consent letter u asked for receipt hw does this make sense my question again is hw much did u give her for the birth of UR child.

U want to write to the embassy to do a disclaimer

U won't find sympathy or answers here ohh this thread is full of preggies that cant sleep like me n hormones r ragging. Why dont u open a thread to first sorter out ur marriage issue den com back here for help with ur visa issues.

Thanks for your input.

To be honest I wasn't aware that my wife used insurance for delivery until I asked for receipts.

Suppose I got separation later on, will they ask for receipts for my later visas too. can they still block my further visas. Can I prove someway that I wasn't involve in this process.
Can I cancel my current 6 months visa and along with that share my awful story.
Before delivery my plan was always to pay by cash not delivery.

Actually I intend to go for my post graduate studies after 2-3 years will this affect my visa.

Pls I just ve to ask r u sure the lady is truly ur wife. U ve talked of withdrawing ur consent letter .now separation letter. U didn't know of the insurance how much did u provide for the birth of ur child. U r beginning to sound a bit self centered.thinking of just ur self. Wat happened to all d advice people gave u to go n settle ur bill u r not even seeking advice on how to go about that. Go n get Divorce letter na. SMH.

Hello all.

hope u are all enjoying your Sunday. M just counting the days can't wait to port ohhhh.

So I just feel I should emphasis the importance and the need to protect your child's SSN..you can invest so much in getting the Blue P.and ur child can have issues later cos of a SSN that has been abused without ur knowledge. Like it or not it happens. Treat it like ur Pas sword don't show to any friend or family people sell it for alot of money.

In fact suspect anyone that ask you to see it for any reason.

Also some1 mentioned the hearing text. I Think that test is a USA requirement for new born. Pls if u can do the test I think the amount u mentioned is high n there should be a discount when I did for my NB It was only $200 n I didn't think twice about it.

I see, and I share from your feelings.

You will only be able to appreciate the performance of Jonathan only if you critically observe his achievements.

How I wish APC states can domesticate the FOI bill and the citizens can see the monumental fraud in their style of leadership.

Our problem is not Goodluck Jonathan, our problem is our wicked politicians who are very mean, selfish and self-centered.

Jonathan will passed for a saint if you see the skeletons in the cupboard of those people shouting 'CHANGE'

Dr. Goodluck Jonathan remains the only solution to Nigeria at the moment.

Shalom.

1. Why do i need magnifying glasses to see what a president has done in the last 6 yrs.shouldnt it be trasparent for every1.

2.Yes APC states may be corrupt but atleast u can see that something is happening na. compare any APC state now to what it was under PDP rule n let me know which is better.

3. Our problem may not be Jonathan but he had the power to make a change but whats did he do. pardon criminals and shield corrupt politicians.when the head is corrupt the whole body is affected

4. After 6 years of nothing to u Jonathan is the only solution .Hmnnnnnn

but seriously what are you expecting again from Jonathan just tell me 1 thing. Good Light? Better Education? Better Healthcare? Better Jobs? if u didnt get any in the last 6yrs n u still waiting i feel 4 u.

The evil 'CHANGE' of darkness shall not overshadow the CHANGE of Light.

Fellow Nigerians,

Jonathan's performance after his full term in 2019 will be the BEST in Nigeria's history.

Shalom.

When I see or hear comments like this I wonder if we are in the same country. When Jonathan was contesting d last time I knew we will have 4 yrs of stagnation. Godforbid that we have another 4yrs.

Someone has been in a position for 6yrs n hasn't kept a any of his promises what do u expect when he does another 4 yrs.

OK let's look at the Monopoly theory. If PDP n Jonathan continue things will not change. No reason to but if another party is rules they will go out of their way to make a difference.

when I see d kind of people that won primaries in PDP my heart is pained. Known Criminals n Corrupt individuals. Stella ODUA, Kashiamu that dares not goto America. BODE George heading PDP in Lag. Wat do u think will happen if these people win. Really.

Finally. IF u ve kids u will understand my fears . These people ve giving their Kids rediculous head start with our money. U see wedding pic n u r happy.their kids r made for life while we struggle to send our kids to d best schools we can afford.

I just want a Nigeria where poor or rich u ve a fighting chance. n we can have BASIC aminities Jonathan will just waste another 4 yrs. Even of not Buhari someone else should take a shot.

Please, I have noted that CBP at Houston and Atlanta POE are very strike on pregnant women. Which other safe POE can anyone suggest to me?. I really wish not to be disturbed at all because it I intend to enter at 32weeks.

2. Please, what are some of the reasonable answer to the usual question at the POE "What is the purpose of your trip"?

3. I have learned of El Paso TX, MIHS Phoenix and Methodist Medical Center Houston. Please, apart from these, is there any other cheap hospital in Houston?

Please share!

Thank You,

The other day someone started by saying how she had read the thread from page 1 to d end n asked a question that showed she obviously didn't

This is a lesson to all women. Trust no one some friends r useless if u understand dat 99% of men will fall into temptation at the availability of another woman u won't make such mistake. I always say ask any man that was caught sleeping with a maid before he did it if it's possible n he will say Godforbid most men cant control their sexual urges women be wise plsss.

OP I applaud ur mother in law she is a wise woman she won't let a big breasted good for nothing slut destroy her daughters home n happiness at a time she should be happy.she would probably just warn her daughter to send her away n beware of her. As for u. Don't think u off d hook she will file this in her pending file for the day u mess up.

Sharing info and marketing are not the same, there are a lot info here already and people are allowed to keep doing the same but marketing directly or indirectly will be frowned at.

Didn't want to get into this argument but Justwise I m trying to figure out what the issue is? Is it that u think Naira Land is loosing revenue it will make from advertisement from all the info being shared on this tread if they can't share such info Wat kind of discussions do u think will happen here maybe we will start discussing things like people asking too much baby questions n compression sock? I understand people that don't want to keep replying emails n PM believe me no pregnant woman has time for that.

Also I know a lot of preggy women that go to the USA to ve kids n believe me 90% of them don't know about this thread so I don't think this thread is d reason for the price increments d only doc.i read online for reviews of most doc discussed here believe it or not most of their patients are Asians n Mexicans .only about 10% of patients will be from Nigeria or n 5% from Nairaland and believe me.

Sharing Info on Doc n other stuffs just make it easier for some people to compare prices and weight different options. U DOING A FAB JOB BUT PLS RELAX N DON'T KILL THE THREAD COS IT'S GETTING BORING FOR ME ALREADY.

Methodist sugarland hospital is great. I just got out of one day admission yesterday cos my BP rose to 170/110 and they were gonna remove my babies yesterday but to God be all the glory, God intervened and it went back to 125/55.
