Gosh the kind of men we have these days God Help the next generation. The Day men will learn That when they go against goods words that a man should take care of his family and provide for them then they will do better in life. WHEN A MAN CHOOSE TO LET HIS WIFE BE THE BREADWINNER AND BE GIVING HIM POCKET MONEY ANYTHING HE SEES LET HIM TAKE IT.Men these days expect women to behave like out mother but refuse to understand that most mothers were so cos the Dads were MEN who understood the importance of being a bread winner. My Mother worked but my Dad will never take a Penney or let her use money for anything like feeding,Rent,Fees etc. I am sure she has stopped giving him allowance or reduce his monthly upkeep now she and her mother are witches and she has slept with the whole world Let him go and Die if he wants to cos even the bible says he is worst than an Infidel.his rants are so pathetic what woman wants such a weak man.

A judge has the right to hold a lawyer in contempt of court and even send him to Jail if he wants . A Judge has ultimate power in the court room what the lawyer can now do is submit his motion to have him recuse himself and bring it up during appeal. The Judge wasted his energy to shout he should have just held him in contempt and have him removed .

OP I can bet you aunt died from a thinking and worry related illness. Like High BP. May her soul rest in perfect peace .

Thanks for the story I guess women should tolerate a cheating husband til they die so the husband can be free to do it more. U said he never go married again like its cos he loved his wife so much. Think of it why will he get married again. Guess he has kids now so why tie him self down with one woman when he can have as many as he wants.

RIP to all women that died of a broken heart.

I Feel so bad for Toke. This broke my heart can imagine how she feels.

But what is this wit all these men.is no one using condoms anymore. Minus pregnancy is no one sacred of HIV n other deadly stds anymore.

Women need to learn to support and lift other women up.
Men when u do this to a woman it hurts.it can break a woman.
Men need to stop thinking it's just sex.wen u do such u ve hurt ur partner for life.

Men need to wake up.its no longer just a man's world. 90% of the time if ur wife turns a blind eye to ur cheating she is probably getting some else where.

This is bad.Toke is too nice for this.

Family / Solution To Cheating In Marriage (COPIED) by Airpure(f): 9:56am On Jun 09, 2015
So I Saw this on Linda Ikeji and have been laughing all morning cos of the comments and insults it has generated expecially from our Dear Male Folks they are not happy at all that a woman dare suggest such.obviously two wrongs can't make a right but it got me thinking if men are so against cheating why do they do it.Do they think women are immune to hurt n pain caused by cheating?

I Will Just Leave This Here. Remember guys I m not the author it was copied From Linda Ikeji blog

Hmmm...a LIB reader who says she's the voice of all cheated women says she's found the solution to infidelity in marriages. Read what she wrote below and share your opinion...

I have seen and read about a lot of cheating husbands on your blog, a friend of mine even told me that she caught her husband cheating, confronted him and he beat her up. I am a woman and I feel very sorry for all those women who have been cheated and worse still, beaten by their cheating husbands. Initially, I said to myself that I won't get married becos most marriages (especially Nigerian/African marriages) are fulfilment of societal expectations of families and friends. The nigerian society expects every woman to be in a man's house, whether or not she finds happiness and peace in marriage is not their business.  However ,I have decided that if I must marry and be happy in marriage, both husband and wife must have equal opportunities in d marriage. I have therefore found the solution to men's infidelity in marriage.

The solution is OPEN MARRIAGES. Women should be allowed to cheat as well as men. Am not encouraging infidelity,I'm just saying since women have been given equal opportunities in areas of politics, business, education etc they should be given an equal playing field in marriage as well.

It is a fact that men's sexual urges are insatiable and they blame their cheating on their wives, however, women with high libido whose husbands don't satisfy should also be free to have sex with other men. Afterall the saying goes "what's good for d goose is also good for the gander" therefore,if its okay for men to cheat on their wives and still beat them,it won't be so bad if women do the same. In fact, the world would be a better place and married people would be a lot happier.

Why do men tell their wives they won't cheat at the beginning then few years after marriage, they eventually cheat ? Well,Open marriage is not a license to cheat,it is only a caveat/warning to your spouse that "I may cheat and if I do cheat, don't be angry and feel free to cheat too" becos if u look at the issue critically, everyone is cheating with someone expressly or impliedly. Married men who do erotic texting (sexting)and chatting wit other people and exchange pictures, as well as those who sleep around are all cheaters.

And to those women who console themselves saying "all men cheat" thereby confining and subjecting themselves to a lifetime of avoidable marital slavery, FYI,marriage is a contract btw 2 people and if you're entering into the 'marriage contract' with the thought that d other party(men) would breach the terms and conditions of d marriage, then you should give the men as your own term of the marriage that if its okay for him to be with other women, then the wife can be with other men. Its like a lecturer giving his students an "open book exam" to prevent exam malpractice.

To put an end to the emotional drain, psychological torture and heartbreak drama most women are going thru, I say OPEN MARRIAGE is the solution. Infact, Nigerian law makers should pass a law on open marriages.

Yours Faithfully,
Signed
I AM THE VOICE OF ALL CHEATED WOMEN.

Anybody??

Hello.

I checked Google n got the following info

This certificate is issued to Nigerians who lose their passport while abroad. This certificate helps them to return to Nigeria. An Emergency Travel Certificate is usually valid for one journey to Nigeria only and must be surrendered to immigration authorities at the port of entry.

REQUIREMENTS FOR OBTAINING EMERGENCY TRAVEL CERTIFICATE

1. Formal request letter for the Emergency Travel Certificate by the applicant.  Include your current address and telephone number, please.

2. Police report or a copy of Applicant's bio-data page of Nigerian Passport.

3. 2 passport-size photographs.

4. Copy of itinerary or airline ticket.

5. $170.00 in money order payable to the Embassy of Nigeria, Washington, DC.

NOTE: The Travel Document is valid for 7 days only and cannot be used to return to the United States (one way journey).

I don't think it applies to Newborns cos u need copy of a Nigeria passport

I really don't understand why they don't allow NBs into d country with their parents Naija Passport. Like will they send them back without passport or what's d worst that will happen.

Infact I need to ask someone in immigration

I just feel the need to make this comment...I feel you should only present what you are asked. I feel showing all 'cards' on account of being asked for just one is somehow. correct me if I am wrong, just looks somehow to me sha (maybe over sabi sef)

Like you suggested I wish to correct you cos u are wrong. It was a good decision to show all she had. when they see the level of preparedness they know someone has done their research. wonder why over sabi came to ur mind.n u even went ahead n typed it. some r timid (U)some r confident she showed she went prepared and left no room for being sent home. when it get to ur turn Hide all till u asked but dont use such words as Over sabi.

This embassy pple are sensible oh. Take a look at d scenerio, u got ur visa in February and u said u were goin for vacation. Then 3months later u are comin to say u changed ur mind and u want to use it for birthing cos u r pregnant.

She can use POE like JFK where they don't really stress pple or better still take d risk and inform d embassy and pray to get d normal response

It's not going to be 3 months later cos if she is due in may m guessing she might want to leave this month or next.

Hello nairalanders,

And so I have been silently learning from y'all and I really want to commend everyone who has at some point given pointers, shared personal experiences for the success of fellow expecting mums and Dads.

My situation goes thus, wife had previously travelled to the US (visa obtained while she was in the UK), but was denied twice on renewal because she had an issue at ATL POE ( was stopped and visa almost got cancelled) but was later allowed to continue her trip but I am sure it was recorded because it was mentioned in her interviews. she is 27 weeks pregnant and plan to use Oakbend Medical Centre, I have contacted Dr Fagbohun and he has accepted to cater for her delivery. My issue is this;

a. At the third attempt she was issued the visa for vacation as stated in her application but was not questioned if she was pregnant or expecting and she didn't disclose since she wasn't asked (probably due to fear of being denied again) as she wasn't really showing.

b. Visa was issued in February and she is due in May; I am of the opinion she should send a letter of change on intent to the US Consulate notifying them she intends to have a baby in the US. That she wasn't decided on having the baby in the US initially when applying for the US visa but has a change of mind and wants to. In order to avoid POE issues, proof of funds, and Dr's appointment is not an issue at this point but
I hope the reason stated is (b) above is viable to avoid any allegations of visa fraud or not disclosing true intent of applying for the visa.

Constructive opinions please.

Thanks everyone and any mum due in May/June with a 2 bedroom apartment to share in Richmond or Sugarland should also contact me.

This might not fall under constructive but there is clearly Visa Fraud here she got d Visa in February n she is due in may too close na . I think u should put ur burden of proof together cos she might be invited to d embassy when u send d intent letter.

Anytime I peep in on this thread n I see things that make me wonder I call it out.

Well maybe I will understand ur comment another time but don't count on it today.

Plus do u really think that question about benefit required an answer anybody educated enough to use the Internet knows the answer or can Google it trust me.
dittobaby:

Lots of people have benefited tremendously on this thread because their questions were being answered. The listing was done because someone asked for the benefit of obtaining the American passport for our babies.

If you don't like a particular question or answer it's better to say it politely than making derogatory statements that can hurt feelings. Let's be respectful to one another, please.
