I still cannot warp my head around your logic that because Tinubu founded one half of the APC then he his entitled for life to dictate things in the party. And you are right, I didn't vote for him last time. Heck I haven't voted for anyone apart from Baba Olú Falae in 1999. So for me to have gone out to register and insist on voting this time says a lot about I feel the incumbent have performed.

I am choosing a different leader hoping he will deliver on what I see are well elucidated plans. If he doesn't, we kick him out and bring in another. These leaders must know that they have only four years guaranteed. A second term is a bonus for having performed.

I'm surprised you mentioned the word Cabal cos I haven't in anyway used it. But since you mentioned it let's explore that a bit. Aisha Buhari, wife of the president has clearly pointed at what you call "inner caucus" been the actual decision makers. My understanding of an inner caucus is that they provide tactical and strategic advice, the final decision is up to the C-in-C. I have no qualms with an inner caucus, as long as they are accessible. Everyone knows that Ivanka Trump and her husband are inner caucus for Trump. They however don't sear in the shadows, they address Americans. Our inner caucus are all shadow men reminiscent of crime bosses of the well known La Cosa Nostra or Ndraghetta.

Also, my dislike for the incumbent is almost personal. In 84, resident docs were on strike my dad was a senior registrar at the time. I would politely ask you to find out what he did to them and their families.

You say Tinubu/Oshiomole wanted Amosun to choose one of Senate or Governor. Which is a valid point. But I believe he who makes such demands must also be seen to have towed the same line.

Can you honestly say that Baba by picking Remi and Sanwo in Lagos has a moral justification to turn around and ask Amosun to pick only one of Senate or Governor when he (Baba) has not picked one from either Senate (Remi) or Gov (Sanwo). Be honest please, and put aside primordial sentiments

Yes I saw them. You mentioned that as party founder Baba is entitled to forever pick candidates for the APC. But the APC is a coalition of the CPC and the ACN. Aren't the CPC group allowed to also pick their candidates for life? Or is the privilege only restricted to the ACN founders?

What if all these things you outline aren't drivers or inputs in my decision making? I don't know about other railways but the Aladja-Ajaokuta rail line is an industrial rail line for moving iron ore from Itakpe to Delta Steel. I would have preferred if one of these two steel companies was completely revamped to generate employment. I lost my job under this administration and its been a herculean task getting another.

Jobs. This is what is driving my decision. And a very lucid outlining of what will be accomplished when my choice gets there.

I also don't want a president who is actually a proxy for the real leaders of the country.

I'm not pro-APC or it's candidates but I can confirm a noticeable improvement in power supply.

You aren't assigning a value to amt when u initialise the ba object by calling the bankAccount function. Your function just displays a value without first assigning that value to your private variable amt

amt in the class definition is a private variable and you are confusing the call that passes the amt as an assignment to the private variable. It won't work. You need to change the variable name in the function call to something else (openingBal for example) and then in the body u assign amt=openingBal before your System.out.println

Get educated. Taxing hotel and leisure houses like clubs, lounges is a good way of making money by government around the world and not milking anyone

I like the example countries you mentioned as indeed the taxes in these countries are healthy. But have you also looked at the energy bills of businesses in these countries? U want businesses to pay a huge energy bill and pay a huge tax bill?

Have you been to Cameroun? I have visited Rwanda several times, while I admit it is a very progressive nation, its progress is somewhat exaggerated. Outside of Kigali, Rwanda is at best glorified Jigawa State. Ask anyone who has visited the country, don't assume.

Have you visited Cameroon to? I've been to both English speaking regions and to Yaounde. I never witnessed blackouts.

If Jigawa State had a Kigali then Nigeria would be a very good place to live in.

We are supposed to be the giants of the continent. So if as much as one other African country is better than us then we have a problem. Imagine America comparing herself with the Bahamas or Antigua?

This post is sadly part of the ongoing stupid self-denigration that has characterised most Nigerians. I have traveled the length and breadth of Africa, and I can tell you with confidence that very few countries on the continent can compare with Nigeria on any/every index of measurement. We have a myriad of problems, but believe me, we are not what people tell you we are. Travel and see.
