Funny thing, I don't have the skirt. I hardly wear what's in vogue especially if it involves every class of beings.

As in eh! I hate the skirt so much especially because every goat and fowl has it.

Here in Benin, this skirt is the unofficial uniform for maket women that sell meat, fish and tomatoes.

I can't recall the exact date but it was in the evening. Classes were over and I just came out of UNIBEN gate when I received a call from mum to come home ( My fam stay in Igousa, Oluku).


I boared a bus, sat in the first row behind the front seat in the middle of two people and began texting as usual, not looking ahead.


One minute I was texting. Next minute I heard someone scream 'Jesus!' . I looked up to see another bus coming towards us with full speed. Before I could say Jack, I saw shards of glass flying towards me.


Every thing happened in slow motion. I was jerked up in the air and fell to the front, narrowly missing the broken windscreen.

I think my heart stopped beating when my head hit a strong metal object on the dashboard.

My mind blanked out and I closed my eyes as the people around the place (around Megon bar and PP Royal Hotel area ) began to scream, it sounded so distant.

Almost everyone was injured in one way or the other. Thank God 4 life sha.

Paul Walker's death left me crying for days. I can't listen to 'See you again' because I still shed tears no matter the place I find my self.

The Fast and Furious was never the same without him.

Also Sam Loco, then Kenny Rodgers' death and that of Reinhard Burkke the evangelist were sad.
