I know you have heard a lot about object oriented programming but you are still finding it hard to understand, this tutorial will be very useful to you because I am going to teach you this concept in a layman terms. I will be referring to object oriented programming as oop.

I can remember learning the concepts of oop in school but still didn't understand it completely until last year.

Oop is simply a programming concept that allows us to reuse codes. As programmers, we design software regularly, u might be given a project to design an app, that collects data, store data, manipulate data and regularly display these data on a regular basis in the frontend of the. So let's say u designed the app and you gave it to the customer.

Now, after a while, another customer comes to you and says, look design a app that collects data, store data and manipulate data for me( Notice that I didn't add display data on the frontend here). And you remembered you did a project similar to this some time ago. What will you? will you start coding the app from scratch again or you go back to the previous project and start editing up and down. That's a bad programming practice.

Now this is one of the ways in which oop has changed programming. You can create the blueprint of a project and use it for all similar projects, no matter how many they are.

Now from the example I gave above, with oop, a programmer can create the blueprint for this type of project and reuse this codes whenever he has another job have that type of projects.

I hope from all I have written so far, u have gotten one reason why oop is very very important for programmers.

Otherwise, what incentive do heartless robbers and rapists have to exercise restraint and refrain from killing their victims? If it was up to me, I would impose sentences of up to 5 years for rapists and up to 10 years for armed robbers who didn’t kill anyone. I would reserve the death penalty for people convicted of first degree murder based on very solid evidence.
