Fashola has raised the bar of governance in Lagos and that's why Ambode's best isn't enough.

Before Fashola left office, he said he wants someone who'll succeed him to do in 4 years what he struggled to achieve in 8 years.

But instead Ambode has taken us back to 2011 due to his vindictive nature and desire to overturn what Fashola has put in place.

So it has been reduced to 800bn. You can see the budget of 1 trillion last year was unrealistic. Because how can you have such a budget and yet roads are bad, no pipe borne water to homes, lagos traffic is still a nightmare, refuse has taken over everywhere. So nothing to show for budgeting 1 trillion in 2018.

As a patriot, I'll definitely go for Ordega.

Oshoala yes got some goals but her all round performance was abysmal. She has been lucky she plays for a good team like Nigeria, and that Oparanozie is no longer in her prime.

There was a reason it was done. The league failed to resume immediately after the World cup was over. And CAF had a deadline for submission of clubs for its competitions. If the league was to continue, we'd have failed to meet the deadline. So a meeting with the 20 clubs and LMC concluded that the table topping team should be the one to represent Nigeria in CAF CL. So, all 20 clubs bought into the idea.

But I don't think Lobi was then awarded any trophy.

No, this isn't a thread about LASG submitting the budget proposal to LAHA

It's 29th of December already, and while other states have submitted theirs to their state house of assembly and even some had got theirs signed into law, nothing much has been said about that of Lagos, the economic capital and the most prosperous state in Nigeria.

And people are virtually saying nothing, even major media houses.

The 2018 budget was presented on December 11, 2017.
The 2017 budget was presented on November 29, 2016.

When will the 2019 budget be presented, knowing fully well we are entering election year and all LAHA members would concentrate their efforts in seeking re-election. We are looking at a situation Lagos won't have a budget passed till February/March 2019. Isn't that a bad precedence for a state other states look up to?

Long story short, Ambode, where is Lagos state 2019 budget proposal

Can it be submitted today or before the end of 2018?

Jimi is right on this one. I don't think that toll is needed any longer.

If they won't demolish the toll, at least reduce the fee or make the alternative routes better.

They can also make the revenues more transparent, so that those paying the toll will know what it's being used for.

Funny enough, Tinubu has not in any point in time put gun on the head of anyone to vote for his preferred candidate. But his followers will gladly do his will because he has proven times without numbers that he can identify performers.

Someone who gave Lagos Fashola, if he says it's Sanwo-olu this time around, people will definitely trust his judgment.
