"Igboho’s lawyer, David Ibrahim Salami, told The Nation in Cotonou what transpired at the Benin Court of Appeal on Monday where the agitator appeared before three judges." The Nation lying as if they are in Cotonou to cover the court proceedings. Is this not your story lifted out from the interview of BBC Yoruba with Igboho Benin lawyer? |
iwaeda:Leave Buhari and northerners alone to continue with their hypocrisy. It's going to be a costly hypocrisy. They will gradually be overwhelmed by the same thing they are treating with kid gloves until they are consumed totally. My only concern is the likelihood of them dragging other progressive parts of the country into their mess. That's why we Yoruba want out of the mess called Nigeria. Before, it get too late. The country is down, and it is about to go 6ft under. |
Na! How many people can do that? I have seen a gas cylinder fire put out, while I was a student in Uni-Ibadan at Trenchard Hall, by a student who simply cut off oxygen supply by putting a metal bucket over the cylinder. The fire simply went off. Meaning the chap in the video could I have done the same. Without oxygen, there can't be fire. |
Arrewa:Blood-hungry Barbarians, that's why you go around butchering and cutting people's head. You have bitten more than you can shew. You will all go extinct in another 10 years because you have just put a tree branch filled with bee hives on your head. Don't think we would act as savages as you. You will self annihilate yourselves. Because you have picked the wrong target, the Yorubas. Note, this is not hate but Karma. You will lie on the bed as you made it. The natural law of retribution. |
Most Nigerians are sick in the head. So, you can't compare one human being to another? Does that change the fact or personality of the referenced individual. Spiritual slaves! |
Propaganda! He was only handcuffed. Don't let them put fear in you with their fake news. His Benin lawyer clearly stated that he was only handcuffed, which he challenged their police that since he was already in a cell, why the handcuff since such is illegal in Benin. The police responded that they were told Ighoho could turn to something else. |
Useless government is just gathering evidence, meaning that they had no evidence prior storming Igboho house in the first place. They think Benin Republic is Nigeria. Buratai even brough an helicopter into Benin to move Igboho but did not get the required permit. Of course the helicopter was sent back by Benin authorities. |
Which Nigerians are suffering abroad? The same Nigerians that send over $20 billion home every year, which is close to or more than the revenue earning of the entire country from oil in recent time. Of course, like everywhere there will always be those struggling. And these are usually those without a legal resident status. And in the US, the pastor probably won't have the liberty he has in Nigeria in fleecing the worshippers in his church. |

This is sad to read as it seem this guy was truly looking for love. Never would support evil scammers but they are not different from the victim's forefathers that came down to Africa to scam the suspects forefathers. Scammer might also be victim of circumstances indirectly caused by victims long-lost countrymen. It's a circle of life. Every scamer would also meet their own waterloo down the road or it could be their offsprings that would suffer it. |
“Igboho has already applied for asylum in Germany and he hopes to file a similar application in Benin Republic in the comi"ng days,” the source said. “Igboho has already applied for asylum in Germany and he hopes to file a similar application in Benin Republic in the coming days,” the source said." Anytime a Nigerian newspaper says "from a source familiar with the story", know it's a lie. Imagine, Punch that is based in Nigeria cannot send a correspondent to cover a newstory less than 100km away. How can someone that already has a German residency apply for asylum in Germany? Now, that tell you that Punch just cooked up the story from other websites. Gutter journalism. |
A lot of propaganda and lies. Igboho already filed for asylum even before he got close to the airport. Don't believe all the things you read on any Nigéria based media. All the story of him being chained or crying are all lies intended to get into the psyche of Yorubas and other southerners, so as to create fear in people. A good number of Benin people are of Yoruba descent, so Benin is like a second home to Igboho, and he got tremendous support there. As I am here, I know a very senior and extremely politically influential citizen there who is a life-time family friend. All I did was just send an email to the person narrating who Igboho is and if it get to the point that Benin govt have to decide beyond their court, we Yorubas have put in a lot of pressure on Benin govt underground. And if you think they already don't know what's going on, then you must be stupid. Do you know some Yorubas in parts of Ogun State already fled to Benin, and you think Benin government don't know why. They know that Nigeria is led by terrorists. In Benin they don't play around with killer Fulani herders. Benin Republic already banned Fulani herders from entering their country without special approval. They don't have a terrorist president like Buhari. https://www.google.com/amp/s/guardian.ng/news/benin-republic-bans-fulani-herdsmen-from-entering-country-says-bilmpan/amp

Ibkhaleel:May you end up at the end up in the hands of Fulani bandits. |
DonroxyII:Stupid student of history. Even Nelson Mandela fled at some point. There was a period he went to Algeria or somewhere in North Africa to get militant training. Martin Luther didn't leave and still got shot in the head. A white south African government wouldn't have sent a killer squad to Mandela's house because they know the implication. But what do you expect from a government headed by blood thirsty fulanis. You can only fight if alive. And am sure there is no way DSS can arrest him if he had choose to remain in Nigeria. It would have taken a lot to convince him to leave. |
"Igboho is currently facing charges on immigration offences in Benin Republic after he was arrested on Monday, alongside his wife, Ropo." It's a lie that Igboho was carrying a Beninios passport. He was picked from inside the plane with his wife because Buhari and his fellow terrorist ambassador, Buratai, already added his name to the top of most wanted criminal in Nigeria, which they shared with Benin authorities. However, if he is truly facing an immigration charge, it would be quite minor. He probably entered Benin under the following scenario, with a Nigerian passport that is not stamped by Benin immigration showing date and point of entry. He actually had a Nigerian and German passport on him when he was picked up in the plane. And even before he was picked up in the plane, he already filed for asylum in Benin. Be careful what believe online. Too many propaganda being pushed out by Buhari boys. |
Only a yoruba or southerner who is sick in the head would go out to vote any where in Nigeria. For what purpose? To elect those who would steal from you or add more misery to your life? |
blacknoir:The incident probably happened when the victim was a teenager. Maybe 19 year old or so. Al least that age still qualify one as a teenager or a boy, not a man. |
I know a lot of northerners are into sodomy big time. What with evidence of fulani herders banging cow butts just like it was shown of some Afghanistan Taliban fighters in an online video. They share a lot in common. Religious zealots, terrorism, and sodomy. Some people will come out wanting to kill another for abusing someone that died over a thousand years ago but only heaven know what they are doing behind closed door. |
athaboi:Exactly what came to mind the first time. |
NengiWIDEtoto:One strength of Juju is that it teach you to listen to yourself. His failure was not listening to himself after escaping from the airport the first time. He sensed danger the first time but allowed himself to be fooled to returned. There is no Juju that can fight against not listening to yourself. |
Before Benin Republic do anything about this issue, they will always consult France. And I am dead sure France wouldn't support his extradition. More so, it's pay back time for Buhari since Benin Republic has been mad that Buhari closed the border between both countries, causing Benin serious economic loss. Don't forget that Benin has a large population of people of Yoruba descent. In fact, I personally know one of their power brokers, a longterm family friend, who is more or less a Yoruba. Any big event she organize, she always brought in Yoruba musicians from Yorubaland. I was almost going to place a call to her to help put pressure on the Benin government never to release Igboho to the evil government in Nigeria. But I have faith in their judicial system and the work already done by Yorubas in support of Igboho. He is surely not going to be extradited to Nigeria. |
TolaniLuv:You don't take chance with these evil Fulani terrorists. He who run will come back to fight another day. They were out to exterminate him and with all security agencies under their grip, it's almost near impossible for him to have a breathing space in Nigeria. |
I give it to the Fulani terrorists regime of Buhari. They have everything well planned. They have already sent one of the top executor of their agenda to Benin in readiness for what's to come. To ensure that any individual that rise up against the Fulani agenda and is forced out through Benin can be pinned down and brought back to Nigeria. We know that most pro-democracy activists used that route during 1990s Babangida and Abacha madness, and were virtually almost all successful in eloping once they land in Benin Republic. So, Buratai job is to ensure that this doesn't happen this time. I guess most of us were wondering how in the world can a former COAS be appointed as an ambassador for a small country as Benin Republic. But they will fail this time. |
Sleekfingers:And at the end of the day, Igboho will not end up in Buhari's jail. That's confirmed. It wouldn't have taken Jesus a second to free himself but as he said, what has been written has to be fulfilled. Didn't Jesus commandered demons out of a troubled man? Jazz pass jazz. And to educate you, most jazz are pure use of natural resources and language of nature. So far it's not used for evil. Or didn't Jesus say that man can command a mountain to move and it will. How can that happen without understanding the language of nature. It's a lack of knowledge and religious slavery that's worrying most of you. |
festacman:You made great points. I wondered as well. I guess this is a totally new experience for him. |
Kizyte:Which southwesterners were rejoicing over arrest of Kanu.?Stop this fake assumption. At least I was disturbed that he was picked up and I am sure many Yorubas are. How can you be sure about the (tribal) identities of people online? |
Because western powers have forced Benin Republic to allow him continue his travel. Buhari has lost this fight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvnS6f29reI

There is no lie about it but it's not just Christians that are victims. The genocidal killings are already tracked on Genocide Watch and term "Level 9 - Extermination". The founder of Genocidal Watch is a guy that was involved with many international prosecution and policy on genocide. http://www.genocidewatch.com/nigeria Buhari cannot escape ICC. |
Obalatule:It is the same thing that will destroy the north. It's like in America where white doctors often refuse to prescribe certain medications to black people because they assumed they will abuse it, while at the same time prescribing the medication recklessly to white patients. Eventually, a lot of white patients became drug addicts and many of them died from drug abuse. So, na dem go suffer am. |
frog12:Sad, they did not teach you history in high school in Nigeria. History has it that in the ancient Benin, the royal palace had multiple bronze arts makers that create those objects as way to keep records of events and incidents that involve the king or palace. They were made for the pleasure of the kings then. So, they belong to the palace, and largely to Benin people. Not Nigeria. |
Afam4eva:God help my people to reason. Where were the artifacts stolen from by the British? Largely from the palace of the Oba of Benin. So, the items are simply returning home to the rightful owner. And what constitution are you referring to? That fraudulent document that only the northerners want. |
BluntTheApostle:See this one! Maintain what artifacts? Like they dropped from Mars. Where they not held at the same Oba of Benin palace for hundreds of years before they were stolen. It's bronze, not some wooden item that will be eaten by termites. If the Benin people did not take care of them before they were stolen, how would they have been stolen in the first place. Are people reasoning at all? |
