This is sad to read as it seem this guy was truly looking for love. All I did was just send an email to the person narrating who Igboho is and if it get to the point that Benin govt have to decide beyond their court, we Yorubas have put in a lot of pressure on Benin govt underground. And if you think they already don't know what's going on, then you must be stupid. Do you know some Yorubas in parts of Ogun State already fled to Benin, and you think Benin government don't know why. They know that Nigeria is led by terrorists. In Benin they don't play around with killer Fulani herders. Benin Republic already banned Fulani herders from entering their country without special approval. It's a lie that Igboho was carrying a Beninios passport. He was picked from inside the plane with his wife because Buhari and his fellow terrorist ambassador, Buratai, already added his name to the top of most wanted criminal in Nigeria, which they shared with Benin authorities. However, if he is truly facing an immigration charge, it would be quite minor. He probably entered Benin under the following scenario, with a Nigerian passport that is not stamped by Benin immigration showing date and point of entry. He actually had a Nigerian and German passport on him when he was picked up in the plane.

And even before he was picked up in the plane, he already filed for asylum in Benin. Be careful what believe online. Too many propaganda being pushed out by Buhari boys.

The incident probably happened when the victim was a teenager. Maybe 19 year old or so. Al least that age still qualify one as a teenager or a boy, not a man.

Sad, they did not teach you history in high school in Nigeria. History has it that in the ancient Benin, the royal palace had multiple bronze arts makers that create those objects as way to keep records of events and incidents that involve the king or palace. They were made for the pleasure of the kings then. So, they belong to the palace, and largely to Benin people. Not Nigeria.

It makes more sense for the Edo state Government to keep it since where the bronzes were taken are now under their jurisdiction.

The reason it should not be handed over to the Oba of Benin is because the traditional system has no recognized role under the constitution and there are no checks and balances to check the excesses of the traditional body. For instance, what stops the present Oba from keeping those bronzes as his personal property if handed over to him.

God help my people to reason. Where were the artifacts stolen from by the British? Largely from the palace of the Oba of Benin. So, the items are simply returning home to the rightful owner.

And what constitution are you referring to? That fraudulent document that only the northerners want.

Bring those artefacts to Nigeria, and watch them disintegrate or lose their gloss in a year.
