Smh. The curse of Oil discovery. How much oil dem discover for the community wey dem don already begin slaughter themselves?? |
From the stables of Yeye news. |
Werey dey disguise. E no mean say e no follow chop Ekiti money during Oshoko's era. |
ERockson:No lie. If you see wetin dem turn Ladipo spare parts market into with their dirtiness eh. I remember how Fashola had to shut the market at a point to get them to clean it up. They shouted blue murder then as well. Very dirty things. |
Dino the guyman. Senior/Agbalagba yahoo boy. ![]() |
Dokpesi is a guyman. E don chop and clean mouth. |
Olril18:Lol. Una talk pass dis one against Buhari. Una wey no fit stop Buhari who is currently enjoying his second term, na una wan stop Tinubu? Lmao. Don't flatter yourself. Some of you give yourself too much credit. |
tenpipsperday:Guy, I can't give you any 'points' because doing so would be a fruitless exercise. There's nothing I could possibly say in his defence that you probably haven't heard before nor that you can't find out for yourself. Your mind has been made up and I know your type. But the irony of life is that your opinion and feelings towards the man may just not be enough to deny him of the Presidency. You don't want Tinubu as your president and you have stated your reasons and they may be valid as far you're entitled to your opinion. No crime or harm in that. But I am telling you that your stance is not enough to stop him from becoming the president of Nigeria so don't take the matter too personal else you may end up spending the next 8-yrears of his tenure (if he ends up becoming president) in bitterness (like some people did after writing off Buhari, only to be jolted by the reality of his presidency in spite of their desires). Worse people than Tinubu have ruled this country and heaven did not fall. Whether he will also rule as president is in God's hands. Obasanjo didn't and has hardly ever enjoyed the support of the majority of yorubas, yet he has ruled this country longer than any other yoruba man or Nigerian. Yet someone like Awolowo, whom Yorubas 'loved' and wanted at the seat of Central power couldn't achieve his lifelong dream of becoming president of this country. What does that tell you about this life? It means yorubas like you and I aren't the only ones that'll determine who the next president of Nigeria would be. Know that, and know peace. Selah. |
assent:It’s not me you are telling to shut up. You are definitely referring to your father, wherever he is dead or alive. Ediotic fool. I don't get how some of you can't make your arguments without getting personal. You're very stupid. If Tinubu runs for president you don't have to vote for him. But if he manages to become president of this country I'll glady give you the noose you'll use to end you life in suicide by hanging. Ediot. |
tenpipsperday:The hospital thing is a non-issue as far as I'm concerned. No single governor can do everything during his tenure. Most governors have their focus during their tenure, some focus on roads infrastructure, others on education, health care, etc. And no matter what a governor does during his tenure, it will never be enough because government is a continuum, someone else must take over from where that Governor stops. Tinubu was the first civilian governor of Lagos after decades of uninterrupted military rule. His first and second term were spent trying to reposition the finances of the state after gross neglect by successive military maladministration. One of his major feats was increasing the state's IGR so that the sate would have more money to handle its obligations. He also had to contend with a hostile federal government. In spite of these, he still did his bit, which obviously would never amount to much to his critics regardless. If Tinubu couldn't build the kind of hospital you would have liked, nothing stops his successors from building it. Same way he couldn't build that hospital is the same way he couldn't tar all the roads in Lagos because two terms are not enough to solve all the problems of a state like Lagos. Infact, all the problems of the state won't be solved till the day you and I die. Each governor will only come and do his bit and leave the stage for the next one to do his bit as well. But I'm sure nothing I just said is news to you. You just don't like Tinubu (which is fine) and for that reason nothing he does would ever be looked upon with favour by you. Nothing he did or does would ever be good enough. |
tenpipsperday:You don't have to support him. It's your right not to support Tinubu. He has never had the support of all Yorubas, so you won't be the first nor the last yoruba not to support him (in fact, no yoruba leader has ever had the support of all Yorubas at once for different reasons (be it Awolowo, Obasanjo, etc). And you are also free to support other yoruba candidates, nobody should begrudge you or any other yoruba person for doing that. But note that, your refusal to support him won't be enough to deny him the Presidency if he'll get there. And also, don't take it personal when his supporters also take swipes at you for disparaging his person or candidacy the way you do against him. |
AlexBells:Bro, how can a small ethnicity like ijaws be chancing a whole igbo ethnicity, as una big reach? Whatever ijaws are doing to acculturate these igbos in Opobo and Bonny, are you telling me that the igbos in the majority igbo states can't match them?? That's preposterous. |
bigpriik:That would only happen if the pan igbo socio-cultural organisations are failing in their duties to bring this people into their fold and give them a sense of belonging. |
But Op, the igbos in Opobo and Bonny aren't kids. They're old enough to decide who and what they are and where they stand on the subject matter. Nobody can force them to become who/what they don't want to become. |
Any news surrounding Tinubu must sha become a hit. No other public figure sells news faster or better. If he's walking, they make it newsworthy, now he's sitting, it's still news. Next would be his style of eating. |
tunjilee003:Maybe you need to consider changing your circle of friends, and instead look for other folks that are like yourself in orientation. |
If you have watched American series like 'Power' and 'Ozark', you would realize that most 'successful' club businesses are actually fronts for laundering/cleaning 'dirty' money from ill-gotten wealth. So yeah, it could be that Obi Cubana is just a front. I am not saying he is guilty of anything, but if he is, he won't be the first; the likes of Quilox are sitting on that table as well. The moment Obi Cubana over-exposed himself, I knew it was only a matter of time before the EFCC starts digging into his finances. |

I agree. Ipob and their cohorts might bomb the Niger bridge (1 and 2) and start killing and kidnapping more people if Obi Cubana is not released immediately. You people think igbos are joking?? |
I saw it coming. Na over-exposure cause am. When you are too exposed, authorities will start probing your finances. |
Another 'DSS/Fulani' arrested. Lol |
alanto:That guy you quoted has a very deep and blind hatred for Tinubu and is a PDP sympathizer so he can't see reason in what you just said. The truth is that, no one can be as successful as Tinubu is politically without having an almost equal number of enemies as he would have admirers, even amongst his own people. That's the fate of all great statesmen all through history and politics. Awolowo had as many enemies as he did admirers, even amongst yorubas (Abiola was one of such men, Adegoke Adelabu the strong man of Ibadan was another, just to mention a few). And he was no stranger to betrayal by protégé and associates. But all that didn't diminish his status. Not to mention the hatred he elicited from the Northerners and the igbos. Therefore, in that sense, Tinubu is in good company. Lol. There are many that will never like him (Tinubu) nor acknowledge his political renown just out of personal or political dislike (which they're entitled to in a democracy), not because he hasn't earned his stripes. To such people, nothing he would ever do would be good enough in their eyes, except maybe he just lays down and dies before they'll be satisfied. But the guy's star keeps rising, even after they've written him off, he keeps shining, in spite of their hatred. |
Wike (being the most influential PDP governor) might push for Tambuwal, and in return Tambuwal would make him his vice. |
None of this would matter if on election day they don't go out to vote. But Op who dey bankroll dis your Tinubu stalking? |
Why are the troops killing 'DSS' people up and down?? |
O ma de wa ga o. I wonder what you will do if this man becomes president you dis boy. I just watched the video and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Omo, your problem long. |
alanto:Afishe ni. Na village people I blame. Lol. |
alanto:Don't mind the werey. E still dey disguise , but he no wan gree say most (if not all) Yorubas on this site don jasi say hin be omoyibo. Lol. |
This Op is so obsessed with Tinubu. I bet he would soon get his tattoo. Lol. |
If true, then that's a very dangerous trend. Very dangerous and unsustainable. |
erico2k2:To me, expecting equal opportunities on foreign soil is even far-fetched sef. I think most people basically emigrate for economic reasons. E. g, most Mexicans that brace all manner of life-threatening hazards just to cross into the u.s aren't expecting equal opportunities per se, but rather job/economic opportunities. Everything else pales in comparison. I think a lot of immigrants fall under this category. They want to work and send money home in peace. And don't mind doing what many locals would consider as menial jobs to achieve that. Such folks don't care much for how tarred their host country's roads are, or how constant their electricity is. Such comforts would hold little meaning to them if they can't work to improve their economic status. |
