PoliticsRe: Driver Throws Traffic Official Out Of Moving Vehicle by Akanniade(m): 5:44pm On Jun 24, 2010
The traffic officials had it coming. Its tragic the way one of them got his just desert. The frustration these glorified street urchins mete out to drivers is just too much. You commit a simple traffic offence and they just jump into your car like gangsters grabbing your car keys from you, not caring if you have an urgent appointment. Incidence like these is going to continue as long as government charge unreasonable fines like 50,000 naira for simple traffic offense, while seizing your car until you pay. These glorified touts will say they want to help you, just bring 5k.They end up making money for themselves not the govrnment. Why cant the officials just serve you a paper and you pay a more realistic fine b4 a stated deadline. No its not going to happen because the people making the laws are untouchable. So sad the case of the dead guy, but what goes around comes around.

Kobojunkie:
^^^ Have you tried Solar?

a) It is fuelless

b) You can resuse most of what you currently use with your generator

c) It is quiet and pollution free to you

d) it comes with a 25 lifetime guarantee in most parts

e) It is low maintainance and cost effective as you recoup what you spend on having it
f) It is very expensive to setup. At least for now.

i also come against every spirit of bondage right now in the name of Jesus. Every generational curse i bind you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I declare right now in the name of Jesus that you hold no power. Every lying spirit that has held families in bondage and lies i break it right now in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I declare right now that their powers will come to nothing.

amuni buni eran Ibiye. Ibiye foju otun eran e fo tosi.

Ibiye was a guy with blind right eye. He has a goat with a blind left eye. Someone now yelled; there goes the one eye goat. In yoruba it could refer to either Ibiye or his goat. Actually the goat was been refered to. Unintentionally Ibiye has been slighted. The proverb applies when you are slighted or been embarrassed due to someone else's fault.

We should learn never to use that word "NEVER" everything is possible but either the journalist or the scientists are still in there basics
Not when the sensibility of people who know better is being insulted.
Science/TechnologyRe: Nigerian Scientists Develop Fuelless Generator by Akanniade(m): 12:21pm On Apr 09, 2010
Our journalists are so gullible and lazy. In this era of nanotechnology, nigerians still believe a perpetual motion machine is possible. Well I dont blame many nigerians who beleive such junk. I rather blame our so called proffessors who do nothng to properly educate the public. Even the term 'Nigerian Scientist' is rather ambitious.
Christianity EtcRe: God Makes People Eat Human Shit. Now Is This Gross, Or What? by Akanniade(m): 1:51pm On Mar 31, 2010
@huxley

15Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith.

Your hate for God knows no bound. Pls, the Poo was for fuel not consumption. Its a normal practice in many undeveloped regions to use animal dung for fuel. Even at that, this was an abomination for an Isrealite. The quoted scripture depicts the seperation of a nation from its God. The prophet was made a symbol unto a depraved nation- And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight.I hope this helped reduce your indignation at God.

Unfortunately our politicians will not see anything wrong. The truth is they dont believe change is possible hence they loot for their posterity to live lavish abroad. I work in the niger delta. The level of pollution in the coastal region is very bad, the vegatations have withered away. It will take years for a massive cleanup exercise to have any meaningful effect. This nation has done great injustice to the niger delta people.
