Okay, in my honest opinion, i dont believe that you are being honest with us. I KNOW that if you truly wanted to get rid of him, you would. We're so good at getting assertive when someone we dont want, hangs on to our tails. IT IS EASY!!
If you didnt want him crawling up your nerves, you would've cut him loose and you certainly wouldnt need us to hand you a pair of machete for that.

So pray tell, what exactly, do you want us to do? What exactly, are you finding difficult to do? I certainly dont believe  that its getting him to stop harrassing you (please, dont lie).

My name is Akebulan.

I'm new to Nairaland, been here since this month lol. I'm glad to be here actually (somedays more glad than others haha). I have interests in sexual-related topics, health, African history and social issues.

I am the biggest fan of black people everywhere. Mistaking me for a black supremacist would be wrong. I love all people, but would dedicate my life to strengthen black people's love for themselves, if I have to. I'd do this, because I know that as a people, we deserve so much more than we give ourselves, and we have come so far that we dont know where to return to.

I cant stand political and tribalistic debates. In my opinion, politics are better left for people other than me, who seem to understand them and value them and tribalistic debates never end well because the truth is, no one is better than another.

I'm an equalist (not to be confused with feminism or masculinist).

I believe that most of the problems we have in life stems from gender segregation.

I believe in respecting people's opinions.

I'd prefer that you agree to disagree with me, instead of cursing me off. Great minds, find ways to respect each others' opinions. Smaller minds, resort to abuses.


I hope to someday, become more humble, more reserved and get better at picking my battles.

a person's personality can be noted in their actions and words. Even the act of pretending to be someone else online, is part of a person's personality. BUT when you do meet people in person, cant they too, pretend then? Of course they can!

Although he is opinionated, he admits his fault when he is wrong, which tells me that he is likely, a humble being. And since humility is something that I aspire for, I appreciate it in people.

Am not sure what the big deal is. From what I have read about the woman and her husband, they caused this world a great deal of pain.
When good people die, we often question why God had to take them. This time, we lost a person who would probably only be considered good by the insane.

I say, let her husband and her family, mourn her. Lets mourn the lives that've been lost due to her and her husband's actions, and the fact that she will no longer ever have a chance to help or assist or condone the behaviour that leads to another human being suffering/ losing their lives.

I am certain that it is. I too, have seen way too many people who got married and left (dvorced) because they realized that it isnt what they expected it to be. I think weddings are beautiful and receptions are grand but staying married is the price you have to pay for those two occasions and most people, arent prepared to stay married; only to get married.
I do believe however, that marriage does work for some (very few) people and when it does, it can be so beautiful. Love, regardless if its adorned with marriage or not, is beautiful.

Sometimes i wonder if they feel pain,or just triumph in their lives. And what about the kids involved.
Everyone longs for a good relationship with their parents-what happens if one of them leaves? Can a single parent bring up a child well and how will that child turn out in the end?

There are a lot of lonely mothers (and fathers) out there. A lot!
So before going into marriage-think people. It's more than just wedding rings and vows. It's much deeper than that.
Sometimes i wonder if marriage is overrated.

1. Dont just try to impress her because she is a female
Females can smell desperation from a mile away. If you're going to attempt to impress a lady, be sure to only attempt to impress females that you believe are special in some sort of way (you like their character or whatever), not just anyone.

2. Speak from the heart
cheesy, i know. But really, just say how you feel. This world is already encoded enough as it is,, just tell her what you like about her in a simple, concise manner. If you cant do it in person, do it over the phone but please, no texting, errrch!

I know. And what about the other body parts you cant really put makeup on? in one of the pictures, you see him applying makeup on in face in font of a mirror but the back of his hand cant be covered with makeup. If he did, he'd get makeup on everything he touches!

In the story, he mentions that he was at work once and there was a child there who started to cry when the child realized that the skin tone on his hand is different. I guess the child was scared

That must've been embarrassing. I honestly am no advocate for skin lightening creams, but this is one case where i'd say they should be used.
