xynerise:I wonder how she managed to even have your number. I dont mix friends and partners. The moment my friends and partners start developing interests in each other to the point where they're exchanging numbers, thats the point where I know I have to subtract myself from the triangle. |
i, Doc:Oh wow, there are times when I've been chased (truly not because am crazy hot or anything) endlessly and I've wished and prayed that the chaser (lol) would leave me alone. If a person is interested, you would not have to run after them, a simple "am interested" "i like you" " i think you and I can work something out" or WHATEVERRRRR should suffice. @ poster, PLEASE leave the lady alone. Her heart is not with you and that isnt anything horrible. A year or so from now, you'll be with someone who loes you and you know what, you wouldnt even want this lady anymore. |
um, what was your friend's girlfriend calling you up for? |
I must say, I struggle with this. Sometimes, it is a great idea. Othertimes, it isnt. Hopefully, Ill get better at letting my guard down, losing my pride and just simply saying "hey, i think you're cool, i like you, i love you" or whatever else nice post! |
DETROIT - Lee Thomas' skin is betraying him. His once brown, even complexion is now mottled with pale patches around his eyes and mouth, along his nose and on his ears; his arms, shoulders and chest are speckled and blotched. "I'm a black man turning white on television and people can see it," says Thomas, an anchor and entertainment reporter for the local Fox Broadcasting Company affiliate. "If you've watched me over the years, you've seen my hands completely change from brown to white." Thomas has vitiligo, a disorder in which pigment-making cells are destroyed. White patches appear on different parts of the body, tissues in the mouth and nose, and the retina. "There is no cause. There is no cure, and it's very random," Thomas says. "I could turn all the way white or mostly white." As many as 65 million people worldwide have the disorder, including up to 2 million in the United States. Few people, outside medical professionals and those with the disease, had heard the term "vitiligo" until Michael Jackson revealed in the early 1990s that the disorder was behind his skin turning brown to white. It is not fatal, but experts say vitiligo robs people of self-confidence, evokes ridicule and unpleasant stares, and pushes some into unforced seclusion. The 40-year-old Thomas says that's not where the disorder needs to be. He openly talks about vitiligo and how it has affected his life and career, and has written a book about his journey titled "Turning White: A Memoir of Change." Along the way, Thomas says he has met others with the disorder and has become a celebrity spokesman for the Columbus, Ohio-based National Vitiligo Foundation. Vitiligo attacks the soul and psyche, foundation executive director Robert Haas says. "When was the last time you saw someone with vitiligo handling your food? It is the public's image that it is some leprosy-type of disease," he says. "A lot of folks feel this disease has trapped them and kept them away from their life goals." That was Thomas' fear. He uses a combination of creams and makeup to cover the growing patches of skin - which he calls devoid of colour - on his face, hands and arms. Viewers, co-workers and, for years, his basketball buddies, were none the wiser. Only family members and those closest to him knew the secret he had kept since age 25. Thomas first noticed a change after getting a haircut while working in Louisville, Kentucky. He looked in a mirror and thought the barber had nicked him. A closer look revealed a pale spot, about the size of a quarter.

kenzyma:Are you serious?! to HER?! LOL i thought you meant", should i return it to the store" haha. Why in the name of anythingnice would you want to return it to her?! No, dont return it to her |
Stop calling her. If she is fronting as you say, she'll eventually get tired of it, and call you. If she isnt, then she truly doesnt want you in which case, you'd need to quit calling her anyway |
ebinom:why not just leave him for someone who wouldnt cheat on you? |
I couldnt. I simply couldnt. I dont have enough balls to, and I do believe in karma. |
Dont ever answer his calls again. Dont respond to his text messages. BE FIRM! You (i assume) are the adult, and should be more in control of your feelings. You have to put a stop to it, he has much less of an obligation to. |
why not use your own hair
|
lol did you open your christmas gift early? and yes, of course, if the store'll permit it, you may return it i think |
whats a netbook? |
If you've ever written before, then maybe you'd know what I mean Maybe you'd be able to feel me as I try to relate this feeling If you've ever found yourself melting your thoughts into ink Or some sort of visual figure vivid enough to be seen MAYBE you'd know what I mean Ever noted the headache coming way before you even meet the cause Felt the water cooling way before it hit your throat Oh for goodness sakes! I wonder if you'd know it! That preminitic feeling you cant really touch Cant sing cant hum cant shake it Everr felt your fingers trembling from the utter urge to get to it Spread something, share something, made it before it came real I wonder. Have you ever felt that somewhere inside of you, There is a stanza waiting to happen? That if you DO NOT grab a means to jot it, it may be lost? That this one thought that is though in process, is magical enough to change the world? YET knowing that this may not actually be as great as you wish it'd be? Like you're in some sort of gestation, expecting, and hoping Because, really, you do not know what you're about to breed? Any writers out there, ever felt the need to write? And when you do? Does i ever feel like thhat piece itself, is a premonition? Isnt it funny how writing then, becomes a proof of your psychic sense? |

"Crazy" by Seal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xd2ayCVmqy0 Your post reminds me of this song. Not only because they have similar titles but because they also have similar meanings. Nice post. |
sicily4u:I'd have to admit, this is a silly question but YES, you can get your period before you lose your virginity |
Sports section? ![]() |
Yeah, it can but only because of tension to the hair strands. Get your hair dresser to NOT tugg at your hair when he/she braids it. Lastly, have your hair in bangs once in a while as opposed to all-back so often |

nice post!
