bayotee: What's in kogi that people are killing themselves to be part of? Lord have mercy! I have severally wished I were not from kogi state due to poor governance. A state where we can't even have a funtional streeights in the heart of the state (Lokoja). Where primary school teachers could go on strike for more than 6mths for non-payment of salaries, where local goverment employers are paid half of one month salary after about 4mths of non-payment. In my opinion, kogi no be am.You are just a coward. Be proud where you are from, if corruption is disturbing kogi state, that should not hinder you from playing your own part in correcting the ills. Instead, you are here showing cowardice by denying your state with your wrong spellings. |
laudate: Er, point of correction. Those oil wells are located in a sedimentary basin that actually straddles the boundaries of 3 states (i.e. Kogi, Anambra and Enugu state).Orient is not drilling anything, they want to develop the already drilled wells that were not in commercial quantities. They took permission from DPR to do that because of the federal govt policy on indigenisation companies. Where the orient are operating now is in kogi, their refinery is in anambra. |
zendy: This is all rubbish talk from lazy people in Kogi who cannot develop thier resources. It is common knowledge that the Anambra river basin is rich in oil and gas deposits. The two oil wells that Orient oil are currently operating on are in Aguleri otu. Is Aguleri in Kogi? FYI Orient oil is a fully licenced petrochemical refining and oil prospecting company which the Anambra state government has invested close to 3 Billion Naira to get it where it is. So instead of you lazy youths of Kogi putting your government to task about what they are doing to develop whatever resources maybe found on your lands, you people are busy conducting 'cross border raids' into Igbo land to reap where you did not sow. What's our business with orient petroleum and who owns it? Please youngman go and do more research. Did they tell u that the wells were drilled in the anambra river basin? I'm telling u where we we have cased wells and u are here jumpicating from pillars to poles mouthing. Even the orient chairman made statement where he said the oil is around river basin, and the capped wells are in kogi just that the bulk of the oil is anambra and we have told them to go n drill in anambra and not come n exploit the cased well in kogi. We have a lot of resources so please spare me that nonsense of saying "whatever resources" |
zendy: If you ask me,I would say that this incident has very little to do with who wants to join Kogi and doesn't. I think this is more of a land dispute. The same thing is happening in my home state of Anambra. For years, the government of Anambra together with private investors sunk Billions into developing oil and gas deposits and Orient oil was established . As soon as Anambra became an oil producing state, the youths of Neighbouring Kogi came up with a ridiculous story about the land that Orient oil was operating on was their ancestral land and that everything including the oil wells must be brought into Kogi. They even invaded the place and started causing problems. So these f00ls were watching as the government of Anambra was developing the place and said nothing but as soon as oil started to flow, their memory came back? If it wasn't for the Army that was drafted in there, those Kogi youths would have felt the full wrath the Igbo community.Stop spouting like a rocket, who told u anambra spent money in developing the oil wells? Do u know the difference between a well that has been explored, drilled, cased and capped? For your info, those wells were drilled and cased by federal government "Elf total,Mobil" in the late 1960s n 70s, and after discoveries that the crude oil from these drilled wells were not in commercial quantities, the wells were not fully developed, they were cased n then abandoned. So where is the anambra money coming into this? And besides, who says building a refinery means u are the owner of the wells or that u have reservoir in ur place? Or don't u know the difference between refining and drilling? And that any country can go into refining business even if there is no crude oil deposit! We have japan, aberdeen, and so many countries where they have refineries, PTI and yet they don't have crude oil deposit. So if anambra spent millions of dollars in building a mini refinery, that is their own cup of tea, as far as we are concern, those wells are in kogi state. Kogi state can decide to build their own refinery later at their own time pending when they feel like exploiting the wells to the fullest capacity. Its all about going to into MOUs with china, singapore, japan and u will have a mini refinery in 8 months just like niger republic have done. So please spare me that issh of anambra spent money. Ibaji is my local govt. |
Samiceman:Bush entity like u! Kogi state uni, Kogi state poly, Federal University lokoja, Salem University lokoja, federal College of education okene, college of education ankpa, federal polytechnic idah, school of agricaultural engineering kabba |

chukwudi44: So if I go to the SSS tomorrow and tell them that a nairalander Mr Koboko67 is a boko haram member, then will just swoop in and pick you up without first questioning me to find out my source of information and proof of the accusation? Is that really the way you expect our security agencies to work? Are u a foolish man?, do u know mr davies at all? Did they tell you he walked up to the SSS and said iherijika was the sponsor of boko haram. For your info, davies is an internationally acclaimed negotiator, and he has done that for many countries and he's got so many years of experience. He negotiated under OBJ during the militant crises of niger delta, in his photos, u will see asari dokubo and so many militant heads with him in the creeks, he also negotiated under yar adua, and now he was invited by GEJ who is now denying that, to negotiate for the release of these girls. And we can see from his many photos with the boko haram boys and some of the notable leaders of BH bois. Why has asari dokubo not come out to counter these claims because he knows the man is saying the truth. Before General Azazi died, he was once the NSA to his brother GEJ and he openly came out on TV and said the BH sponsors were PDP and in the government and GEJ immediately relieved him of that position. And for ur dumbed head, Transparency international and amnesty international, had recently indicted iherijika of committing crimes against humanity like midrivic of bosnia and that he should be tried at UN court. Please stop showing ur foolishness. |
rattlesnake: emmanuel adebayor has jetBillionaire in naira or dollars? Is okocha not a billionaire? Give us figures. Dangote according to forbes is worth over 20 billion dollars. That's whatsup |
polymathic: same here too, what I do is make sure I'm not speaking too fast n try as much as possible to speak with a mild toneMine is even d worst, when I'm speaking is like I'm rapping and they keep telling me to come again, and at the end they will think I'm not bold enough. I've tried severally to speak slowly but no way |
Jakeattah: Never go for a post your not qualified for or is not your field without proper research.....Yes o u are right sha but there's nothing wrong in trying |
Sometimes u guys can just misfire anyhow without doing your research very well. Who says Nanosilver was discovered by a nigerian? The drug was developed by an american and is yet to undergo certification by USFDA. And in some other countries where it has been certified, its used to fight some bacteria infections and as also pesticides. Is ebola a bacteria? The US has issued out their own advice that if use it, u are at your own risk. The drug has not even be tested on animals with ebola virus unlike ZMAPP and TKZ. Lagos state was right by openly rejecting it. That's the best thing to do. Do u know what it means that a patient died as a result of the drugs given to her? If ZMAPP was tested on africans first without testing it on whites, they would still complain and say "why must it black that should be tested first with ZMAPP serum". The US has offered to give TKZ and now africans are complaining that its the ZMAPP they want. Africans have their own problem. Maybe the Nanosilver might bed food to the virus when it is administered to an ebola infected patient and that will quicken his or her death |
That's d list |

herrdeustch: im Beng Mech ,wrote the test(ship design).i must say that this test is actually an accurate measure of autocad proficiency-Nice work.I must also agree with mathmatica about hanging around the right peeps for information-I think we are misunderstanding the message he is passing across.all the people i met at the test including myself knew about the application through friends or colleagues .this may not mean that he doesn't have a job(I am a practicing engineer all the way from Abuja in power)......Its a training opportunity, remember....... wishing everyone success. Please shed some light on the process -i learnt that Hyundai did something like this earlier this yearEven those who knew how to use autocad Practically couldn't answer the questions that came out. It was for those who did autocad in school. In school curriculum, u are taught the theoretical aspect of it before moving unto practical aspect. The questions were purely just 2D questions. |
I wrote mine last week friday 11, at flour mill plc apapa, old dock road. I applied for bakery assistant. Very cheap questions by Gods grace. Remember there are two flour mills at apapa, one is honeywell flour mills, and the 2nd is flour mills plc |

U235weapongrade: My guy dis is a Nice one..My school is the great Petroleum Training Institute a.k.a the oil republic...whether u like it or not..there is a always a great benefit in Unionism, unless u wanna tell me u were this pastorial type during ur school days who used to leave everything to God. |
page007: Deji Okupe( S.A to GEJ on media) on Channels TV dis morning comfirmed that d agreements of ASUU have been met, while the ASUU president on d same programme agreed, but d body is waiting for an official letter. What kind of human beings are these ASUU chairs? They simply don't care.E be like say una know say okupe na big time liar..when channels asked him if he "himself" has ever entered into an agreement, he became dumbfounded...my guys there are processes in meeting up the terms in agreement, no be by mouth. |
U235weapongrade: My Guy I was enjoying ur points up till dis moment wen u confirmed dat ur with ur own statement of Result and Ready for March 11th.Lol ma guy, u no go understand my school, no de under ministry of education, na ministry of petroleum resources. Ours is PENGASSAN and NUPENG and not ASUU, the PENGASSANS are the senior workers while the NUPENG are the junior workers and sometimes they go strike individually and sometimes they both go on strike and that's why we have strike called NUPENGASSAN. Ofcourse u know that the federal government do not joke with the oil industry. The only time they also go on general strike is when NLC calls for a general strike...so through out the year we are moving, and the school have all the infrastructural facilities, equipment. Schools like FUTminna, UI, uniben, OAU always come for excursions. We are under PTDF intervention and other fundings... I had to say all these, when there is adequate funding for school, things will work out and that's y I'm in support of ASUU. Can u imagine that in nigeria it is possible to straight one year without uninterrupted power supply? Yes, in my school, we have constant like straight months without NEPA blinking it unless there is a fault, and it will not take hours to be rectified, so also in lokoja, there is constant power supply...it cost my school many millions to put that in order, they switched to 33kva lines with the procurement of industrial transformers and other components. AS for GEJ, the mere fact that he was involved in a 13hrs meeting with ASUU should not be a factor for ASUU calling off the strike, and also the fact that a president intervened should not be another reason for ASUU calling off the strike. We have seen in the past where abacha was involved in meetings with ASUU and denied vehemtly all the agreement agreed upon by both parties. The major thing that was of great concern to ASUU was FG signing the agreement with somebody of HIgh calibre and reputation which happens to be the attorney general of the fed, and also the immediate transfer of 230 billion naira to CBN university fund intervention account, but because FG do not trust themselves and their unreliability, they were looking for other alternatives of which ASUU will never buy into it. And as for fund distribution, I urge y'all to go through the ASUU charter, monkey no go de work and then baboon go wan chop, never done anywhere, ask ur unilorin lecturers and they will tell u, of course they will get their own FG intervention fund from ministry of education, but the other benefits that ASUU fought for will exclude them.. And also for the unilorin 40, all we are after was victory, at the end they won the case at the high court or so, but what u nigerians ought to and should know, that there are sacrifices in every struggles, some will not live to enjoy that struggle but their children and while some will live to enjoy the struggle and they will always remember their colleagues who lost their lives while in the struggle. We all gonna die someday, which legacy can they attach u to...the reason why atiku still holds his head up high is because he is a winner, he dealt with OBJ in the court, could u imagine that atiku won all the 12 cases of corruption and other charges in court against obj, even when obj was the GCFRN, an incumbent president..and that's what we call winnning ways. If u live with the mentality of struggling and nothing happening to some of your members or yourselve, then u can never achieve anything. What do we have today, FG just wired 200billion naira to CBN ASUU FG account, and postponed resumption date to december 9, but I don't know how authentic it is sha |
Hello y'all and Goodmorning to u all... How ware we geering up for the camping tins, its just two months left and by march 11 we are already rolling...let's pray for our other graduates who are yet to collect their result that ASUU and Government should come to a final concensus at the end. |
page007: Getting to understand d situation better? Twas a directive by the Chancellors council that was simply, directly and authouritatively read by the Education minister. Really, are u interested in ASUU struggle or making it with d batch A train?Ok o... They should resume o, pulling out of the strike is a small thing...for u to pull out, you must pay some amount of millions to ASUU, and all the benefits coming from the ASUU strike will exclude the schools that pulled out because its a well structured system, ABU zaria pulled out of ASUU one time, and when the new vc came, he had to pay 50 million to ASUU to register back with ASUU. As for me, I graduated july, and I have already collected my result since oct...na batch A we de wait for so.. |
page007: Bro Stinger, let me serve you a reminder for breakfast this nice morning, with a cup of respect sir. Need remind u that d same NLC, TUC and even NUC have all threatend to go on strike all this while, it should be noted that this so called organisation are as corrupt as d FG, 3 days of strike? I laugh u in spanish, I'm sure u know how d struggle is in this part of the world, we simply go hungry n get tired easily. The bottom line is, Nigerians don't care. Rumours simply arises "why lecturers wan collect money for d work wey dem no do". Open ur eyes man, u as a student knows dat d strike brought nothing to ur table. In all, we have better and more dedicated hands who can manage the system, not a lecturer that will grumble to teach and expect salary at d end. Enough is Enough. Let them Go!!!At the end, we all saw on TV that jonathan said that he wasn't the one who gave the ASUU lecturers december 4th and that it was his so called minister of education 'WIKE" who announced it... So u can see that the december 4 is even an hoax cos ur president has denied anything linking him to that idia amin's statement. So back to zero my friend. From the speech u will see ur president lacks ideas, the fact that the president was involved in 13hrs meeting with ASUU should not be the sole reason why ASUU should call off the strike, the fact that the president of the nation waded into the matter should not also be another reason for ASUU to call off the strike, the only reason that will make ASUU to call off the strike is when they reach a concensus and that means meeting ASUU demands..bye |
page007: Yes o. D so called "elites" say d hooligans "politians" are corrupt n cheats, where them throw d decision of there own majority put? My senior brother is preparing his CV already, n so are many others who wish to lecture. It seems u guys don't know the way things are done....have u observed that NLC and TUC haven't said anything all this while? Have u forgotten that ASUU is a strong registered affiliates of NLC? NLC will come in after december 4th, they would want to see if truely jonathan can sack the registered ASUU lecturers and then they will now tell jonathan yes they are ready to embark on a nationwide strike in support of "sacked lecturers". The we shall see if Government go fit withstand NLC and if the economy no cripple within 3 days of the strike....una just de talk as if say una know what's up. |
page007: Just wait n see bro. Have you forgotten d present state of Unemployment in d country? Even if na educational sector, u will c applicants flying everywhere. Those lecturers wey no get balls go comot for ASUU bak. ASUU don loose support of majority.Hmmh U are a learner |
I hail the house this morning..morning y'all |
The name "Ekiti state university" sounds too awkward...the name "UNAD" was more sexy n cool |
U235weapongrade: Abeg ohh..All those one na stories...na today we don dey hear ultimatum? Fashola no try am with lagos state doctors and e tire am, goodluck no try PHCN workers when he asked soldiers to take over the power plants and at the end soldiers couldn't operate them perfectly. Abi u no hear ASUU chairman reply, he said they can go and recruit people from the motor park, they are not afraid of sack ooo....do u know how much it will cost the government to recruit new staff nationwide? How it will cost them to train new staff? How much it will cost them to offset upfront allowance to new workers nationwide? And above all, some of the lecturers are renowned lecturers worldwide, the federal government can never get people with those kind of experience. That's y most time when u are recruited as a lecturer, u grow under another lecturer until u have gotten the right experience and qualifications to lecture. That's y most schools, when they want to recruit lecturers, they put years of experience as one of the requirement |
pls remind me... How many higher institutions of learning do we have in Kogi and Enugu state? illiteracy at it's best
