Exactly, it all depends on the kind of school. I am a teacher too and I know what I am talking about. Follow your heart bro. I was in that situation when I started teaching too. I was earning 27k monthly. I decided against taking such offer and today I earn 6 figure salary as a teacher. And as for connection, you can get it anywhere, even as a school teacher, depending on the school like I said earlier. A former colleague got a job in an oil company through a parent. The issue here is location. If you come to my area somewhere around Ikotun, you will get cheap room and parlour self contain. I pay 140k with a salary of a little over 100k, and I work somewhere around Ikotun as well, that is why I said the location especially to your place of work matters. |

An introvert can survive anywhere. All you need to do like many have said, just learn to mind your business. I am an introvert too. I have been surviving in Lagos for the past 7 yrs or so. Apart from one of my neighbors that I am really close to and exchange visits with, the others na just greeting connect us.
