Italian embassy as well please. |
chemashie: This guy is damn rude for my liking. No matter how rich or big you are, you need to show respect to your prospective/existing customers. Am only commenting cos of what your responses so far. No offence intended.Thats why I'm Akin Alabi. I dont try to be someone else. Buzz off and find something else to comment on. |
kentochdis: Wait self, people make calls, they have drop calls, and come to nairaland and complain about GSM providers been thieves and call them loads of bad name, but I don't see their executives calling people names or using foul languages in response. That's what shows you're above them, you don't need to retaliate to prove that you pass them. Sorry , I guess you used Baba's style (push me I push you). Continue your style, I guess it's working really well for you. CheersI have to give you credit here. You have a point. But me I dont know how to take punches without hitting back with even more punches. I prefer we fight and then make up rather than just accept and keep quiet. Thanks for your contributions. |
Your headache. Its really your headache I tell you. A topic calls me a scammer and I should come and start explaining myself? Not in this lifetime. I'm not in the business of trying to satisfy the whole world. If you hit me I'll take a revenge. I'll hit back. If they have an issue with a site, they should take it to support of that site. I sent an email to them and I was told there was no outstanding. There is even a fake facebook page by someone (maybe the OP who claims his friends -not him- have the problem). You think I will be here trying to explain to such trolls? Called me names and should grovel on my knees? No chance. I put up my office address for anyone who believes I have anything to hide. Here it is again. Suite A1, DeCherub Mall, New Road, Beside Protea hotel, Lekki Epe Expressway. Come with police, efcc, icpc. I have nothing to hide. Whats my own with vogue or whatever you called it? And what is my own with the refund you are collecting up and down? Puleaaazzeeee, mind your business. |
travelxpat: go there with EFCC or ICPC .Thank you. You see, I am typing this from that office. I dey there all day of the week including Sundays and public holidays. I've got nothing to hide. |
doczero: I dont see humility in this guy. I am surprised that anybody trained by our father Dr Sunny Ojeagbase will be talking to people the way he is doing. It is a pityIf you know anything about me, you will know I'm not the kind of person that tries to impress anyone. If you cant take me as I am, buzz off. Anyone that has issues with them should contact them. Use this form http://www.1kjobsonline.com/feedback Simple thing. |
legalwealth: The 1kjobonline site is more less like a scam site. Now lets get this right. You paid to list a product but you did not make a sale. Does that make it scam? If you had said you paid for listing and you were not listed that is a different ball game. I am saying it again, if you have an issue with a business, take it to that business. Calling Akin Alabi names will not help. You can always call me if you want. If I'm not available, you can send a text. osasky: Why is Akin Alabi Acting as if there is some skeleton in his C-board. Don't you know that you are dealing with people. you can't wake up one morning and decide to resign from 1kjobonline when you know that peoples money is invested there. i guess you left them after you guys have finish sharing the money. you built the site and help in the marketing which make people to invest in it because it was your brand.Big boy. How can someone resign from something he does not own or work in? Do you have comprehension issues? |
Meanwhile @OP, Incase you need to reach the EFCC, my office is at Suite A1, DeCherub Mall, New Road, Beside Protea hotel, Lekki Epe Expressway. Thanks |
kentochdis: You said "First of all, I do not own 1kjobsonline even though I helped set it up. I helped register the domain and helped with the marketing. Have contacted 1kjob's support? Please do." Did you send this information to the client that contacted you when he did?Why should I send him any information. I said its not my site. He should contact the customer service. kentochdis: You said "I've quit forums. Too much wahala." Is there a notice on the site specifying this and did you give your users enough information before you decided to go off.Why should I put up a notice? Its my forum and I decided to stop it. My call. Its nobody's business when I put it up or down. Its a free forum so kini big deal? kentochdis: You said "My house is in order mate." neksummi gave you the best advice which is something you should have thought about but instead you gave this lazy reply. If your house was in order would you be accused of scam? would more people have sent in comments confirming same.Thats their headache. Not mine. kentochdis: I don't know you but have been following some of your ads I see right from SD and other news media. The main reason why I've never taken up your offers is because of your poor customer service. After each program advert the huge complaint about poor customer service follows, so I just decided to stay off anything that has to do with you.Your headache. Not mine. kentochdis: Please don't be offended about this post just work on your CS and I think all will be well.Offended? lol. |
Now, I'm a celibrity. lol Anyway, I have been quiet because I slowed down on teaching people how to do business online. I concentrated on my other Internet based businesses that do not have anything to do with teaching. This has turned out to be one of the best business decisions I've ever taken. |
Whaowww. Now I'm a scammer. lol. Let me answer the questions one after the other. Hadfotee50: Akin Alabi the owner of many online money making site wana turn to scam due to more websites or inproper monitoring as the time of posting this, i have two friends that have paid to his account but he refuse funding their account, some can get referral bonus, some withdraw are pending or not pay and he dont reply notify, comments just to said few. You can search for 1KJobsOnline fan page on facebook to see more complain, i we not deceive him if he dont fund some of payments of his users starting from *June 1st* he we soon call scammer and trace by FBI/EFCC is report.First of all, I do not own 1kjobsonline even though I helped set it up. I helped register the domain and helped with the marketing. Have contacted 1kjob's support? Please do. afam4eva: I wonder why his forum is no longer up.I've quit forums. Too much wahala. stpat1: or has he gone bankrupt?lol. You wish. neksummi: It's sad if the complaints are true. I think this is a wake up call on him to put his house in order. He should hire some assistants to help him do some of the jobs.My house is in order mate. Seun: HYIP schemes will always collapse. This may take 10 days (most schemes) or 10 years (Madoff), but it's simply inevitable. Its no HYIP. Did you bother to check it out before commenting? Its a local version of fiverr. yeye4live: Dats wy I hate al dis internet investment but at dat its inproper calin pple scamersIts no investment. See above. |
Kobojunkie: I agree but for those of us who are Nigerians in the diaspora, already engaged in these businesses, the major hindrance to our helping OPEN UP the Nigerian market is shipping problems. There are thousands of Nigerian owned small businesses around the world is if they could all do business more easily with those in Nigeria, it would go a long way to help announce to the world, that Nigeria may possibly be opening up. However since this group still struggle when it comes to doing business with those in Nigeria, I think this is an area that should get priority attention as well. That's one perspective I didnt really think about. Great point. |
deluckiest: I shop mostly on AMAZON and have the goods shipped to my US rented address from their I have the goods shipped to me in Nigeria using DHL. I've never had a cause to complain. I bought my new laptop, 'ASUS A53E' through Amazon dot com on February and also have it delivered to me using DHL.The point is not how we can dance around this problem. We all have ways of solving individual challenges. I deal with lots of international providers and I dont have problems with them. The problem is the bigger picture. We have to clean up our acts so everyone can have smooth financial transactions with the rest of the world. |
Many of them won't ship to Nigeria (and even accept payments) from Nigeria because they have heard a lot of terrible things about us. You cant really blame them for doing that. Its up to us to clean our image. I believe its an issue of mindset with those sellers and not parcels going missing at the post office. There is no statistics to prove that goods get missing more in Nigeria than the countries they ship to. Even if you offer to pay the insane DHL charges, they still won't budge. Amazon ships books to Nigeria till tomorrow but independent amazon sellers dont. See? I took on a staff of clickbank about sending checks to Nigeria. He couldnt find any reason why they are not. Just kept yapping. I said what about with DHL only, he just found one excuse and walked away. |
If you dont want problems, do not lend people money. You are not a bank. Give what you can give and forget it. |
Naira cards will not work on those platforms to the best of my knowldge. GTB Dollar Visa card will worth though. Try Zenith Web Surfer as well. It works nicely. |
Almost 10 years in business. What kept me going? Hmmmmmnnnnnnnnnn. I don't think there is any other way to live. Entrepreneurs are the salt of the earth. |
valencia25: Eko oni Baje ooooThat slogan is meant for Lagos state and not Ogun. |
Happy birthday to my amiable governor. |
I love my country. I kept missing my country day after day and I couldnt take it anymore. I felt it was my time to contribute to Nigeria rather than be a critic from abroad. I bought a ticket to start a new life in Lagos. No cause to regret ever since. |
It was a great feeling. I was in the theatre with my wife... I remember it as if it was yesterday. |
Some people that has never owned or even entered one before will even tell you it bad. |
ogbeche77: A crowd trying to get a look at the wreckage sought to break though a police barricade in one area at the siteWhy try to break through a police barricade? ![]() |
ZUBY77: What is the big deal?a former CBN governor should be able to lecture lawmakers on issues concerning money market. The lawmakers come from all works of life, some are lawyers, doctors, teachers, traders etc. So i dont see how you expect them to know more about capital market tha Soludo.Well said. |
YES. It is my responsibility to take care of my parents. Absolutely! Just the way it was their responsibility to take care of me when I was young. |
My advice to all of us that love sports betting. Have fun with it and hope for a break. Dont see it as a business. Dont borrow money to do it. As a bookmaker myself maybe I shouldnt be saying this but I have to be honest. Many people come to our website with a lot of calculations but do end up losing money. The ones that make money are the ones that just play it for fun. Just this weeked, a 21 year old student won 966k with just N200 on our website. It is not a business. Just have fun with it. Dont put money you cannot lose and do not borrow to do it. Good luck. |
Self hating is a disease. |
We dont have too many trade magazines in Nigeria. Generally, publications that are related to your niche market are very useful. |
My problem with those with 'nostalgic' feelings is that is Nigeria just about Lagos Island? We need pre independence pictures of Ijebu Ode, Potiskum, Gusau, Yenagoa, Birni Kebbi, Awka etc. The Brits didnt build Nigeria. The little we have today, we built it ourselves. |
milehigh06:I never said they were going to do it themselves. They could have hired someone to do this. Lots of small businesses go around "marketing" individulas, corporate bodies and goverment parastatals to use fb payper click and google adwords. They could have had someone do this. Again, please note that I'm not saying paying for ads is what they did or wether it is wrong or right. Point is, this is unnecessarily seansational. |
Demdem:That is the question we should be asking. They could be doing it to get a lot of Nigerians to like the page and then dispense information from there. The question is are they running the ads? Or should they run ads at all? How much are they paying per click or per impression. My point is, the story is made do look like someone just stole 1.2m to open a facebook account which can be done free. That might not be the case. |
