Islam for Muslims / Every Muslim Should Be Warned Of The Oppression Of: ‘I – My/mine – I Possess’ by akinsmail51: 1:15pm On Mar 16
Ibn al-Qayyim said:

‘Every Muslim should be warned of the oppression of: ‘I – My/Mine – I Possess’

Indeed these three words are what Iblees (Shaytan), Fir’awn and Qaroon were tried with.

Iblees said: ‘I am better than him’

Fir’awn said: ‘Is not mine the Kingdom of Egypt,’

Qaroon said: ‘This has been given to me only because of knowledge I possess.’

So regarding the saying of the Slave of Allaah ‘I’ –

then the best that he can be described with is: I am a slave who sins, makes mistakes, seeks forgiveness and recognizes this.

So regarding the saying of ‘My/Mine’ – and those statements similar to that is:

My sins, my crimes, my humbleness, my depravation and submissiveness.

So regarding the saying of ‘I Possess’:

Forgive me for my mistakes and what I do intentionally, in jest, or in seriousness and I possess all these shortcomings.

Islam for Muslims / Re: The Excellence Of The Four Statements (subhan’allah Wal Hamdu Lillaah, Wa La Ila by akinsmail51: 8:20am On Mar 15
6 – From its excellence is that there is none better according to Allah than a believer who lives his life in Islam and says ‘Allahu akbar, Subhana Allaahi, la ilaaha il-lallah, and al-Hamdu lillaahi,’ a lot.

What is collected by Imam Ahmad and by Nisa’ee in ‘Amal al-Yawm wa Laylah’ with a Hasan Isnaad from Abdullaah bin Shaddad: is that a group of three people from the tribe of Udhraah came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and accepted Islam and Abdullaah said that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: ‘Who will look after them?’

Talha said: ‘I will.’

Abdullaah said: ‘They stayed with Talha and the Prophet (ﷺ) sent out a delegation and one of them went in it and was martyred. Abdullaah said: then the Prophet (ﷺ) sent another a delegation and another person went with them and was martyred.

Abdullaah continued: then the third person died on his bed.

Talha said: ‘I saw these three people who stayed with me [in a dream] they were in Paradise, and I saw the one who died on his bed in front of them, and I saw the one who was martyred last after him and I saw the one who was martyred last behind them._ Talha said: I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and I mentioned this to him, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

‘Why did you not stop them from going with the delegation, there is none better according to Allah from a believer who lives his life in Islam and says ‘Allahu akbar, Subhana Allahi, la ilaaha il-lallah, and al-Hamdu lillaahi,’ a lot.’

[Al-Musnad, Sunnan al-Kubra by Nisa’ee Book of Actions of the Day & the Night, Albani declared it Hasan in Saheehah No. 654]

This great hadeeth shows the great excellence of the one who has a long life and his actions are good, and his tongue continues to be moist with the Dhikr of Allah – Azza wa Jal, and success is from Allah Alone.
Islam for Muslims / Re: The Excellence Of The Four Statements (subhan’allah Wal Hamdu Lillaah, Wa La Ila by akinsmail51: 8:17am On Mar 15
5- From the excellence of these words is that they are plants of Paradise, Tirmidhi collected from Abdullaah bin Mas’ood, from the Prophet (ﷺ) that he said:

‘I met the Prophet Ibrahim on the night when I was taken on the night journey, and Ibrahim said:

O Muhammad convey my Salam to your Ummah, and inform them that Paradise has very fine soil, sweet water. That it has lowland and its plants are:

‘Subhana Allahi, wal hamdu lillaahi, wa la ilaaha il-lallah, wa Allahu akbar’

(Far is Allah from imperfection, and all praise be to Allah, and there is none worthy of worship in truth except Allah, and Allah is the Greatest)’ [Sunnan Tirmidhi & Albani declared it Hasan in Saheehah no. 105]

In the Isnaad of this hadeeth is AbdurRahman bin Ishaaq, however the hadeeth has two supporting narrations which strengthen this narration from the hadeeth of Abu ‘Ayyoub al-Ansari and from the hadeeth of Abdullaah bin Umar.

The meaning is that plants in Paradise grow quickly due to these statements, just like the plants that are planted on lowland and the growth of its plants is fast.
Islam for Muslims / The Excellence Of The Four Statements (subhan’allah Wal Hamdu Lillaah, Wa La Ila by akinsmail51: 8:11am On Mar 15
1- So from the excellence of these words is that they are the most beloved speech to Allah.

Imam Muslim collected in his book from the hadeeth of Sumrah bin Jundab (رضي الله عنه) who said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

‘The most beloved speech to Allah consists of four, there is no harm with which one you begin, Subhana Allahi, wal hamdu lillaahi, wa la ilaaha il-lallah, wa Allahu akbar.’ [Saheeh Muslim]

And collected by Tayyalisi in his ‘Musnad’ with the wording:

‘There are four statements that are the most beloved speech to Allah, and they are in the Qur’an, there is no harm which one you begin with: SubhanAllaahi, wal hamdu lillaahi, wa la ilaaha il-lallah, wa Allahu Akbar.’ [Musnad at-Tayyalisi]

2- From their excellence is that the Prophet (ﷺ) informed us that they are more beloved to him than what the sun rose upon (i.e. from the Dunya and what is in it)

Muslim collected in his book ‘Saheeh’ from the hadeeth of Abu Hurairah who said: the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

‘Indeed that I say: ‘Far is Allah from imperfection, and all praise be to Allah, and there is none worthy of worship in truth except Allah, and Allah is the Greatest,’ (Subhana Allaahi, wal hamdu lillaahi, wa la ilaaha il-lallah, wa Allahu akbar) is more beloved to me than what the sun rose upon.’ [Saheeh Muslim]

3 – From their excellence is, what is mentioned in ‘Musnad’ of Imam Ahmad and ‘Shu’ab al-Eeman’ by Bayhaqi with a good Isnaad from Assim bin Bahdalah from Abu Salih from Umm Hani bint Abu Talib who said:

‘The Messenger of Allah walked past me so I said: ‘Indeed I have become old and weak – or something similar to this – then he ordered me with an action which I should do while I am sitting. He (ﷺ) said:

‘Say Subhan’Allah one hundred times, indeed it is equivalent to freeing one hundred slaves from the offspring of Isma’eel. And

Say Alhamdulillah one hundred times, it is the equivalent to one hundred horses saddled with reins ready to carry a person in the path of Allah. And

Say Allahu akbar one hundred times, since it is the equivalent to one hundred camels slaughtered for the sake of Allah. And

Say La ilaaha il-lallah one hundred times, Ibn Khalf (the narrator from Aasim) said: I think he said: it fills what is between the heavens and the earth and on that day no one will have an action raised except the one who came with the like of it.’ [Al-Musnad & Shu’ab al-Eemaan]

Al-Mundhari said: Ahmad collected it with a Hasan Isnad [Targheeb wa Tarheeb (2/409)] and the ‘allaama al-Albaani declared its Isnad Hasan. [Silsilah Saheehah (3/303)]

Reflect upon this great reward, which is a result of these words.

So whoever says Subhan’Allah hundred times then it is the equivalent to freeing a hundred slaves from the sons of Isma’eel, the offspring of Isma’eel was mentioned specifically because they are the noblest of the Arabs in lineage.

Whoever says Alhamdulillaah a hundred times then he will have the reward as the one who gave charity of one hundred horses saddled and reined ready to carry the Mujahideen in the path of Allah. Whoever says Allahu Akbar a hundred times then he will have the reward as the one who spends camels slaughtered for the sake of Allah. Whoever said La ilaaha il-lallah a hundred times then it fills what is between the heavens and the earth and no one’s action is raised except if one comes with what was mentioned.

Similarly another report says:

Narrated by Amr bin Shu’aib on the authority of his father that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“Who ever says ‘Subhan’Allah‘ 100 times before the sunrise (fajr) and before the sunset (Asr), it is better than giving 100 she-Camels in the cause of Allah.

And whoever says ‘Alhamdulilah‘ 100 times before the sunrise (fajr) and before the sunset (Asr), it is better than giving 100 horses in the cause of Allah.

And whoever says ‘Allahu Akbar‘ 100 times before the sun rise (fajr) and before the sunset (Asr) , it is better than freeing 100 slaves, and whoever says ‘La ilaaha il-lallah wahdahu laa shareeka lah, lahul mulku wa lahul Hamdu wa huwa ‘alaa kulli shay’in qadeer.’ 100 times before the sunrise (Fajr) and before the sunset (Asr),

no one will come on the Day of Judgement with a deed better than his, except for the one who says what he says or increases it.” [Authenticated by Albani in Sahih Targheeb wa Tarheeb no: 658]

4- From the excellence of the status of these words, is that they are an expiation for sins. It is mentioned in ‘al-Musnad’, ‘Sunnan Tirmidhi’ and ‘Mustadrak al-Hakim’ from the hadeeth of Abdullaah bin ‘Amr bin al-‘Aaas (رضي الله عنه) who said the Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) said: ‘There is no person on earth who says: ‘La ilaaha il-lallah, wa Allahu akbar, wa Subhana Allahi, wal hamdu lillaahi, La hawla wa la quwwata illa billaa, (There is no capability nor is there any power except with Allah) except that his sins are expiated even if they were more than the foam on the sea.’

Tirmidhi declared it to be Hasan, and al-Hakim authenticated it and Dhahabi agreed with him and al-Albani declared it to be Hasan. [Al-Musnad , Sunnan Tirmidhi, Mustadrak al-Hakim & Saheeh al-Jamia’ no. 5636]

As for the meaning ‘expiation of sins’ here it means minor sins, as is mentioned in Saheeh Muslim from Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say:

‘The five daily prayers, from one Juma’ till the next Juma’, from one Ramadhan till the next Ramadhan is an expiation for what takes place between them as long as the major sins are kept away from.’ [Saheeh Muslim]

Therefore expiation of sins has been limited to keeping away from the major sins; because a major sin can only be expiated by repentance.

Also there is a hadeeth that has been collected with the same meaning by Tirmidhi and other than him from Anas bin Malik (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) walked passed a tree which had dry leaves and he hit that tree with his stick and the leaves began to fall, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

Indeed al-Hamdu lillaahi, wa Subhana Allahi, la ilaaha il-lallah, wa Allahu akbar, cause the sins of a slave of Allah to fall just like the leaves of this tree are falling.’

Declared Hasan by al-Albani.[Sunnan Tirmidhi & Saheeh al-Jamia’ no. 1601]

Islam for Muslims / Umar’s Instructions On The First Night Of Ramadan by akinsmail51: 9:19pm On Mar 10
It is reported that on the first night of Ramaḍān, ‘Umar – Allāh be pleased with him – would pray Maghrib, then say (to the people):

Sit down. Then he would give a small address:

Verily the fasting of this month has been made a duty upon you, and standing in night prayer has not been made a duty upon you, but those amongst you who can stand in prayer should do so, for it is from the extra good deeds about which Allāh told us: so whoever cannot stand in prayer, let him sleep on his bed.

And beware of saying: I will fast if so and so fasts and I will stand in night prayer if so and so stands in prayer.

Whoever fasts or stands in night prayer, he must make this for Allāh.

And you should know that you are in prayer as long as you are waiting for a prayer.

Minimize any vain or false speech in the houses of Allāh (mosques; he said this two or three times).

Let none of you fast a few days before the month (in order to avoid missing the beginning of the month; he said this three times).

And do not fast until you see [the crescent of the new month] unless it is overcast. If it is overcast, count [the previous month] as 30 days.

Then do not break your fasts until you see the night upon the mountain (i.e. you are sure the sun has set).

‘Abd Al-Razzāq Al-Ṣan’ānī, Al-Muṣannaf article 7748.

Islam for Muslims / The Salaf And The Quran In Ramadan by akinsmail51: 11:54pm On Mar 07
It is reported that Al-Aswad [b. Yazīd Al-Nakha’ī] used to complete the recitation of the Quran in Ramadan every two nights; sleeping between al-maghrib and al-‘ishā. Outside of Ramaḍān, he used to complete a recitation every six nights.

Abū Nu’aym, Ḥilyatu Al-Awliyā` 1:250.

It is related from Al-Rabī’ b. Sulaymān, “Muḥammad b. Idrīs Al-Shāfi’ī used to complete reciting the Quran in the month of Ramadan sixty times, all in the prayer.”

Ibid. 4:107

It is reported that Abul-Ash-hab said, “Abū Al-Rajā` [Al-Aṭārudī] would complete with us a recitation of the Quran in the night prayers of Ramadan every ten days.”

Ibid. 1:348

It is reported that Qatādah used to complete a recitation of the Quran once every seven nights, and when Ramadan came, once every three nights. During the last ten nights, he would complete a recitation every night.

Ibid. 1:364

It is reported that Al-Bukhārī used to complete a recitation [of the Quran] once a day in Ramadan, and would pray after Tarāwīḥ every night, completing another recitation every three nights.

Al-Dhahabī, Siyar A’lām Al-Nubalā` 12:439

Notes

After mentioning some similar examples from the Salaf, Ibn Rajab says in Laṭā`if Al-Ma’ārif p319:

The prohibition of reciting the Quran in less than three days [found in some ahadith] refers to doing so regularly [throughout the year].

As for virtuous times, like Ramadan – especially the nights in which it is hoped Laylatu Al-Qadr will occur – or virtuous places, like Makkah – for those who enter it and are not residents there, then it is recommended to increase in reciting the Quran, making the most of the time and the place.

This is the position of [Imam] Aḥmad, Isḥāq [ibn Rāhūyah] and other Imams, and the practice of others [from the Salaf] indicates [they held the same position].

Islam for Muslims / O Allaah’s Messenger! Prices Have Gone Up, So Fix Prices For Us by akinsmail51: 11:31pm On Mar 07
Anas Bin Maalik [may Allaah be pleased with him] reported that the people said,

“O Allaah’s Messenger! Prices have gone up, so fix prices for us”.

So, Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Allah is the one Who fixes prices, Who withholds, gives lavishly and provides, and I hope that when I meet Allah, none of you will have any claim on me for an injustice regarding blood or property”.

[Saheeh Sunan Abee Dawud. Number 3450]

Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said:

High increases in prices and their decreases are among those events that none brings about except Allaah alone and nothing can occur from it except by Allaah’s Will, but He [Glory be He and free is He from all imperfections] has made some of the actions of His slaves the cause of some incidents, just as He made the deed of killing of a killer a cause of the death of the victim, and the increase in prices may be due to the injustice of the people, and the decrease may be due to the benevolence of some people.

Islam for Muslims / How Are You Preparing For The Blessed Month Of Ramadan? by akinsmail51: 6:12pm On Mar 07
What are your Ramadan essentials?

Me: Bought a new Qur'an. Downloaded audio Qur'an on all my Qur'an Apps. (Husory, Matrood, Minshawi downloaded already ) I will probably add Ayouby, in shaa Allaah.

Learn a bit about Prophetic Manners of Performing Prayer by studying Imam Assim Description of Prophet Prayer & Abu Naasir's (available on YouTube)

Downloaded a complete playlist of lectures such as SHIELD_Explanation of the Morning & 12 Evening Athkaar, & Stories and Lessons from Surat Al-Kahf by Abu Bakr Zoud (I am impressed with his channel on YouTube, may Allaah reward him abundantly)

I don't always focus my attention on material things whenever Ramadan is approaching. This helps me a lot to combat worry and anxiety.

I believe my Lord will pave ways for me because He's the best of Providers.

Rather I do focus my Ramadan prep on how to make most of the month with the Help of my Lord.

How is your prep for Ramadan, brethren?

I pray Allaah count us among those who will fast this month of Ramadan in an increasing state of faith, health and wealth!

Islam for Muslims / Anxiety Because Of A Loan: An Interesting Story! by akinsmail51: 7:35am On Mar 07
An example of this (anxiety because of a loan) is what happened to al-Zubayr (may Allaah be pleased with him), whose story was told by his son ‘Abd-Allaah ibn al-Zubayr:

“When al-Zubayr stood up to fight at the Battle of the Camel, he called me, so I went and stood by his side.

He said: ‘O my son, no-one will be killed today except one who is a wrongdoer or one to whom wrong is done. I can see that I will die today as one to whom wrong is done.

My greatest concern is my debts – do you think that any of our wealth will be left after paying off our debts?

O my son, sell our property and pay off our debts.’”

‘Abd-Allaah said: “He started to advise me what to do about his debt, and told me: ‘O my son, if you are unable to pay off anything, seek the help of my mawlaa.’

By Allaah, I did not know what he meant until I asked, ‘O my father, who is your mawlaa?’

He said: ‘Allaah.’ By Allaah, every time I felt distress because of difficulty in paying off his debt, I prayed, ‘O Mawlaa of al-Zubayr, pay off his debt,’ and Allaah paid it off…’”

‘Abd-Allaah ibn al-Zubayr said: “I calculated how much he owed, and found it to be two million and two hundred thousand…

(some of al-Zubayr’s friends did not think it possible to pay off such a great debt, but Allaah greatly blessed some land belonging to al-Zubayr, and surprisingly enough, when it was divided up and sold off, there was enough to pay off the debt and have something left over)…

Al-Zubayr had four wives: one-third of his wealth was put aside for them, and each wife got one million and two hundred thousand. The total sum of his wealth was fifty million and two hundred thousand.”

Culled from the book 'Dealings With Worries and Stress' by Shaykh Muhammad Saalih almunajjid.

====================================
O Lord, we seek refuge in You from sin and from debt. Remove our debts from us and enrich us against poverty.

Islam for Muslims / Description Of The Believer When Faced With Hardship Or Ease by akinsmail51: 6:50am On Mar 04
Shaikh ‘Abdur-Rahmaan as-Sa’dee (rahimahullaah) mentioned in his description of the believer when faced with hardship or ease:

“If he is granted prosperity, then he is among the vanguard of the grateful ones, and if there passes him some adversity then he is from the patient ones, he knows that he has no Lord other than Allaah that he should seek and supplicate to, and that he has no deity for him that he has expectation in and hopes in.

He has no divergence or abstention from the door of his Patron Lord, likewise there is no inclination for his heart to other than Him and no attachment and no turning away.

Prosperity and favours do not make him proceed to tyranny and an arrogant ingratitude, and he is not impatient when touched with adversity, being displeased with the preordainment and pre-decree, he remains in accordance with the pre-decrees – the pleasant and the sad with calmness and tranquility, and Allaah guides his heart to it, due to his knowledge that it is a decree of The One Who says to something: ‘Be’ and it is.

So this servant is granted ability, he has profited by virtue of His Lord and stood with servitude to Him through all the fluctuations, and he attains both prosperities: peace of mind and distinction of state and consequence and has acquired good things.

((No calamity befalls except by permission of Allaah, and whoever believes in Allaah, He guides his heart. And Allaah is Knowing of all things.))” (At-Taghaabun: 11)

Islam for Muslims / Dua For Sustenance And When In Hunger by akinsmail51: 7:59am On Mar 01
From Abdullaah bin Mas’ood -RadhiAllaahu anhu- who said: ‘A guest came to the Prophet sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam, so he sent a message to his wives hoping they had some food, but there was no food with anyone of them, so the Prophet said:

اللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أَسْأَلُك مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ، فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَمْلِكُهَا إِلاَّ أَنْتَ

Allahumma innee as’aluka min fadlika wa rahmatika, fa-innahu laa yam-liku-ha illaa ant

(O Allaah indeed I ask of You for Your Virtue (Bounty) and Your Mercy, for indeed, no one possesses these except You.’)

So I gave him a gift of roasted sheep. The Prophet ﷺ said:

هَذِهِ مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ، وَنَحْنُ نَنْتَظِرُ الرَّحْمَةَ

Hadihi min fadlillah wa nahnu nan-tadhirur-rahma

(‘This is from the favour of Allaah and we await Mercy.’)

[Collected by Abu Na’eem in al-Hileeyaa (5/36 and 7/239), Tabraani in Muajm al-Kabeer 10/178, signs of prophecy (dalail nabuwa) for Bayhaqi 6/128 and Albaani graded it Saheeh in Silsilah Saheehah 4/57 no. 1543, Sahih al-Jaami, 1/114]

Ibn Abi Shaybah collected this hadeeth in his book ‘al-Musanaf’ 7/94 under the chapter: ‘What a person supplicates with when he is afflicted with hunger or his sustenance is constrained.’

The scholar, al-Ameer as-Sana’ani -Rahimahullaah- said: ‘Regarding ‘O Allaah indeed I ask of You for Your virtue and Your Mercy’

It could be that the things asked for are not mentioned, and it is possible that what was actually asked for was excellence and mercy. Since indeed no one possesses these except You [Allaah]’ : so these two matters are not asked for, except from its possessor.’

[At-Tanweer Sharh al-Jami’ as-Sagheer 3/163]

Furthermore this Dua can even be said when hearing the crow of a Rooster

Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه said that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “If you hear the crow of a rooster, ask Allah for his bounty for it has seen an angel. If you hear a donkey’s bray, seek refuge in Allah from the devil, for it saw a devil.” [Al-Bukhari No 3303; Muslim No 2729; Abu Dawud No 5102; At-Tirmidhi No 3459]

Business / This Is Not The Time To Acquire A New Car by akinsmail51: 3:30pm On Feb 29
This is not the time to acquire a new car nor the appropriate time to start building a new house from the scratch, it's time to acquire parcels of land and build later (when the prices of input come down)

It isn't time to buy a new car, the price of cars depends on the interplay between dollar and naira, it's time to acquire plots of land (acquiring land will be cheaper compared to what you will need to buy a Tokunbo car).

Now isn't the time to keep your monēy in the bank (you can no longer beat inflation with bank deposits)

If you understand the time value of monēy, it's time to save your monēy in landed properties.

You can save your hard-earned currency in any of the following properties;

🍁A FULL Plot of Land (fenced) with 3 Uncompleted Shops is available for ₦10.5m at Igbe-Oloja after Igbogbo, Close to Ijede Waterside Badore, Ikorodu, Lagos.

🍁FOUR PLOTS of Land is available for ₦8.5m at Adetoyebi, After Adeogun behind UI/IITA axis, Ibadan.

🍁TWO Plots of Land With Uncompleted 5-Bed Room Flat available for ₦20m in an organised neighbourhood. Plot 11 & 12, Block G, Fan Milk C.I.C.S Eleyele Ibadan Layout, at Ologolo Village, Off Elenusonso Road, Ibadan. Ido Local Govt Area, Oyo state.

🌿20 ACRES of Farmland for ₦11m [equivalent to ₦550 per acre at Ile Ogbo - Gbọgán Road, Ilẹ Ogbó, Osun State

On the authority of Ibn ʿAbbas (رضي الله عنه) who said, “I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) supplicating with this:

Rabbi a’inni wa la tu’in ‘alayya, wansurni wa la tansur ‘alayya, wamkurli wa la tamkur ‘alayya, wahdini wa yassiril-huda ilayya, wansurni ‘ala man bagha ‘alayya. Rabbij’alni laka shakkaran laka dhakkaran, laka rahhaban, laka mitwa’an, ‘ilayka mukhbitan, aw-wahan muniba. Rabbi taqabbal tawbati, waghsil hawbati wa ajib da’wati, wa thabbit hujjati, wahdi qalbi, wa saddid lisani, waslul sakhimata qalbi

(O Lord! Help me and do not help others against me, support me and do not support others against me, plan for me and do not plan against me, guide me and make guidance easy for me, and help me against those who wrong me. O Lord! Make me grateful to You, make me remember You much, make me fearful of You, obedient to You, humble before You and turning to You. O Lord! Accept my repentance and wash away my sins, answer my supplication, make my proof firm, guide my heart, make my tongue speak the truth, and remove resentment from my heart)

(One of the narrators) Abul-Hasan At-Tanafisi said: “I said to Waki’: ‘Shall I say it in the Qunut of Witr?’ He said: ‘Yes.'”

Note: It is a general dua which can be said anytime.

Business / Re: Why Exactly Is The Cement Price Going Up This Way? by akinsmail51: 10:55pm On Feb 17
This may likely be due to the rise in their cost of production, mind you they also buy inputs.

Some of these companies make use of diesel in large quantities and once there's a rise in the price of diesel, their cost of production goes higher.

Not only that, some of these companies employ foreigners whom they pay their salaries in dollars. Whatever affects the dollar affects their production costs.

Islam for Muslims / You'll Love This POEM by akinsmail51: 6:37pm On Feb 13
*I love this poem!*

A poet said:

The prudent imagines in himself,

his tribulations before they befall him.

If they suddenly befall him,

they do not surprise him because he had already imagined them.

And the ignorant trusts the days,

and he forgets the demise of those who came before him.

So when trials of times surprise him,

with some trials he becomes lost

Though if he was strict in his affairs,

patience would have taught him boldness

Islam for Muslims / And Has Made Them Safe From Fear by akinsmail51: 6:24pm On Feb 13
﴿ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنۡ خَوۡفِۭ ﴾
(And has made them safe from fear.) meaning, He favors them with safety and gentleness, so they should single Him out for worship alone, without any partner.

They should not worship any idol, rival or statue besides Him.

Therefore, whoever accepts this command, Allah will give him safety in both this life and the Hereafter.

However, whoever disobeys Him, He will remove both of them from him.

This is as Allah says,

(And Allah puts forward the example of a township, that dwelt secure and well-content: its provision coming to it in abundance from every place, but it denied the favors of Allah.

So, Allah made it taste extreme of hunger and fear, because of that which they used to do.

And verily, there had come unto them a Messenger from among themselves, but they denied him, so the torment overtook them while they were wrongdoers.) (16:112-113).

This is the end of the Tafsir of Surah Quraysh, and all praise and thanks are due to Allah.
