@POLITICSNGR

Bishop David Abioye of the Living Faith Church(Winners' Chapel) during a recent sermon advised his congregation to avoid voting individuals who value cow more than human life in 2019.

Abioye, in a fiery sermon, urged his congregants to be vigilant adding that 'they' are 'penetrating everywhere'. PoliticsNGR has footage from the sermon.

Watch the Video HERE

https://politicsngr.com/dont-vote-people-value-cow-life-winners-bishop-abioyevideo/

From abioye that started living faith church with oyedepo, when oyedepo was still a bachelor. Now, while abioye is still alive, oyedepo has designated his son to inherit living faith church.

Abioye is subservient in thinking and character. Therefore, his infirmed conclusions on PMB, can only appeal to the deluded.

You go and articulate my 1st response. Any of the leaders in the church close to him can be regard as his child not necessarily his biological child.

He is the founder of the church and AM NOT SURE IF HE put much difference between the church he founded and other businesses he established personally.

Do you expect the successor of the church leadership to also inherent the business also?

Your response can't be different from the stock that oyedepo is made of. Without tricks and scam, God-idea and religion can't thrive.

The fact that you either can't see or deliberately choose not to see how oyedepo has subtly positioned his son to inherit living faith church, albeit in manipulative and fraudulent manner, shows how morally bankrupt you godists are.

Every pastor would know the implication of wrong succession and I'm sure Oyedepo is fully aware of the consequences of the wrong person taking over the ministry.
As regard his son serving as resident pastor that is a non issue. At the time of succession God would make his choice.
OP I would advise you to stay away completely from the issue of succession. And I also suspect you are misinterpreting the mandate book.

You obviously didn't understand the last three paragraphs of my post. The mandate says God shall name the successor at oyedepo's exit.

Has God ever spoken to you or any human before? Men have always spoken in the NAME of God.

His son, oyedepo jnr is at present, the resident pastor of the international headquarters and one of the 4 vice presidents.

If you're logical and rational, you will know that oyedepo has gotten a successor in his son already (exactly what "God' will say when he dies).

Do you know that James the bother of Jesus was among the elders of the church in Jerusalem.
What rational thinking got to do with other men's issue?

If one of the son has what it takes to lead why cant he be a resident pastor
If the father is building his son to be Next Big Thing, what is wrong putting the son in a position to learn and develop.

Go and read my OP again.

I simply showed you a man that's a scamer. He taught his hypnotized followers that ascension to headship isn't hereditary.

But now, he's perfectly arranged his son to inherit the church business. All this by tricks in the name of God. Using the same Bible he used to knock off the Aaronic order.

Idahosa wife took over, she later ordained her son as bishop. The son will take over when she dies.

It's church business, only the hypnotized and gullible are under the illusion that church isn't a scam business.

Akintom you missed it big time, the example you sited such as “Moses to Joshua and Elijah to Elisha, can you explain biological relationship between them.

Moses was a Levite but Joshua was Ephraimite. Why would Joshua be the best candidate to take leadership from Moses? Give answer yourself

The same applies to Elijah and Elisha.

There are those who are Oyedepo's spiritual children, in fact all the church members are so anyone can be the chosen one, but the chosen one must understand the church mandate

Did you see Aaron there?

Are you aware that oyedepo's first son is the resident pastor in Canaan land and one of 4 vice president to his father?

Just think rationally, ok ?

Religion / Bishop Oyedepo And His Succession Tricks by akintom(m): 9:18pm On May 15, 2018
Few days ago, bishop oyedepo was speaking in his synagogue, during which he betrayed the most basic resentment and sentiment towards the APC government (but mischievously towards PMB). He did spoke in manner that showed mockery, but beneath that, is deep seated hatred and disillusion.

I sat under the live teachings of oyedepo when he was at Raji-oba in iyana-ipaja, Lagos. I read his books and listened to his tapes. He was a man that i coveted then, in matters that borders on pastoral cravings.

In his teachings on anointing, the calling of God into the ministry and ordination into church leadership. Oyedepo taught thus;

"the calling of God is not by election, but by the anointing of the holy spirit. Not even by the appointment or agreement of clergy. In acts 1: 1-26, the eleven apostles wanted to replace Judas, so elected a twelfth apostle by casting ballot.

God wasn't in that arrangement. But when God decided to replace Judas, he anointed Paul. Nothing significant was heard about Mattias after the election, but Paul became a force in the new testament. This is an evidence of the superiority of anointing of God over human arrangement "

" the new testament order of coming into the ministry, isn't after the order of the Aaron priesthood, but after that of the priesthood of Jesus. Which is not by inheritance, but by the anointing of the holy spirit".

Oyedepo taught the above , when his two sons (who are now heir apparent to "presiding bishophood"wink were still toddlers.

Below is what oyedepo now teaches on the same subject matter.

"Furthermore, in this ministry, we have an operational manual called The Mandate. This 504-page book contains, among others, details of statutory procedures for succession. This book, which was released in 2012, is the second bible of this ministry as it were and the content shall not be subject to review until after the first 50 years, that is 2062, if at all.
"However, succession in the kingdom is absolutely at God’s prerogative as in the case of Moses and Joshua" .

"The Church’s Mandate Secretary, Pastor Yemi Nathaniel, said; “Every apostolic ministry like ours is a priestly commission and because priesthood is for a lifetime, his (Oyedepo) presidency and priesthood is for a lifetime. “Moses, Joshua, Aaron ministered and his son also did; Elijah, Elisha and Paul, among others.".

https://www.nairaland.com/3881001/bishop-oyedepo-church-taxation-successor

http://dailypost.ng/2016/01/10/oyedepo-has-not-retired-winners-chapel/

Oyedepo who taught that succession by the new testament order, isn't by inheritance, is now teaching that it's now after the order of Aaron priesthood (hereditary).

In that mandate, that oyedepo said is not subject to review till 50 years, is the command that his successor shall be named by God. Now, how shall God do this?

This is how; in few years to come, the two sons of oyedepo, who are at this time, are as powerful as oyedepo himself, would have become absolutely powerful. Most of the co-founders with oyedepo, would have become very old, possibly dead, disillusioned or out of the church.

And when oyedepo eventually become infirmed or dead, one of the sons would have become God (ye are gods Ps 82 vs 6) and his voice shall be the voice of God according to the mandate.

This is the acts of manipulation, oppression, extortion and robbery by bishop oyedepo.

In the spirit of reciprocity and felicitation, i sent a new year greetings to a friend, below is the response i got

* Welcome to *2018 the year of the supernatural*

*#1. Supernatural supply*
*#2. Supernatural strength*
*#3. Supernatural abilities*
*#4. Supernatural insight*
*#5. Supernatural wisdom*
*#6. Supernatural knowledge*
*#7. Supernatural health*
Hallelujah Glory to God.

But a quick check of the meaning of supernatural, showed

Supernatural

1. of, relating to, or being above or beyond what is natural; unexplainable by natural law or phenomena; abnormal.

2. direct influence or action of a God/deity on earthly affairs.

Going by the illusion, sold to these folks by Chris Oyakhilome, and if they really want to prove if Yahweh does anything close to "supernatural", the following should be their realities:

#1. They will get services and goods without paying for them
#2. They will work 100hrs and not be tired
#3. They will fly without aircraft, snap fingers and get money etc
#4. They will know cure for cancer without research
#5. They will have experience without observation/knowledge
#6. They will know things without learning
#7. They will never be ill or dead

Pathetically, they believe these illusions with ridiculous assurance, that will daze an in-patient at mental homes.

Religion / Lord's Chosen Apron Is Bullet Proof! by akintom(m): 7:04am On Jan 03, 2018
...... Could you tell us how the idea of the apron which your members wear, came about?

I would say that the inspiration for that apron came from God. At a point in Lagos pasting of posters and hanging of banners were outlawed. And it became a serious challenge for us to evangelise and publicize God’s messages. Fortunately, in one of my visits to Imo State then, I saw many people wearing T-shirts of their party’s Senatorial and House of Representative candidates. And, on the shirts, I could see the politician’s photographs boldly printed. When, I returned, I concluded that if those people could wear such shirts for political campaigns without minding, why not we design something and wear to spread the gospel further. So, in one of our workers meetings, I told them that we have to wear the apron, since there was no other means of advertising our ministry, except hand bills or going round. Thereafter, we brought the idea of buying buses, and we had almost 100 pieces of them. So, with the buses and apron we had a breakthrough in evangelism.

When you introduced it, what was the reaction of the people to the apron?

Obviously, we were mocked and cajoled. Some saw us as frustrated people who wear apron up and down, but we did not bother because we knew what was behind the idea. The truth remains that after all were said against the apron, today it has come to stay and has become the identity of the Lord’s Chosen all over the world. Many churches that mocked us are now making use of it in different ways and colours.

Is it true that armed robbers bullets’ do not affect anyone wearing the apron?

I can tell you that we have the faith and it works. Our members wear it anywhere round the world, both in aircraft, and when robbers attack, God who gave us the inspiration, will protect them. Besides, the apron does other things. For instance, someone who was remanded in prison, wore it to court and was instantly discharged and acquitted. In fact, God magnified the apron because he was the one who gave us the inspiration. One would be surprised that he will have a problem if he or she attacks anyone wearing apron because it is meant to advertise the programmes of God and lift up the name of Jesus Christ. And, it is really serving the purpose.

Coolusername also made some valid points.

Nice topic Akin.

I dont believe karma is real... juat some man made bulshit which many religious folks believe in as usual without thinking it through.

What many people call karma is just a result of their own self fulfulilled prephecy. Example.. when a friend does evil to us(say molest our loving child) and we are helpless to retaliate, we so desire they get hurt too bad that we begin to wish bad on them too, we wish bad on them to the extent we wish some invisible force(god, nature, karma, even devil) could help us give them the pain they deserve for hurting us. Infact we end up beilving that this force will fight for us.

This is nothing but an unconsious prophescy that evil will befall them.

Because we are already expecting evil on them, any normal unfortunate even that happens to such individual, say he lost his job or had an accident, we quickly hold unto it and conclude that karma has eventually caught up on such individual... but this is just our mind playing tricks on us and telling us we have gotten the justice we deserve. Its just a self fullfilled prophecy.

At the end of the day... it has its only soothing psychological effect that helps us go through some pains. Its a coping mechanism and thats why most people will argue that karma exists... because without it they feel all alone and powerless.

Its kind of comforting to feel nature or God is fighting for u... ever wonder why butterflylion will insult u when u say his God does not exist? He cannot afford to handle feeling alone.

Beautiful contribution.
