While am neither agreeing or disagreeing with seun on this issue, it is my candid opinion that religious worshippers in this country should be more civil and decorous in their practices and utterances. In particular, God is not interested in our loud unholy noises. He sees the human heart and relate with you according to His judgement. Personally , I will advise that more nigerians should start discussing the grave dangers of noise to our health to safe people from stress, hypentension, partial deafness and allied ailments. |
The frustration in the nigerian system is enough to make the most patriotic person misbehave. This will explain the reason for the police threat. |
Handiwork of young men addicted to YouTube. |
A lot is wrong with these expired and confused prophets and soothsayers (of both faiths ). They foretold that M k o Abiola would become nigeria's president but he never was, and some other cases like that. If they were actually speaking God's mind , all their prophesies must come to pass; but they are speaking from their personal imagination and thoughts. It is time nigerians start holding them accountable for their useless predictions the way it as being done in civilised societies. Many of them are misleading our politicians to misgovern the country. Enough of this malady. |
Many of nollywood movie writers, producers and actors have no business being in the industry . The influx of new entrants was caused by high unemployment in the country. Just like our politicians, they are in the industry not to deliver value but for money making as allowed by the weaknesses of our systems and structures |
CFCman:Thanks. I think Nigerians shhould start talking about this now. Counting of votes should be as easy as drinking a glass of water; effortless. |
In future elections, reliable vote counting machines should be introduced to make the exercise less tedious and time consuming. However, so far so good. |

Going to the mosque this friday and church on sunday to give thanks are good options for celebration. Having an indoor thanksgiving dinner with the family can may be worthwhile. |
What ministry do these rogues represent ? These ones just carried their business too far. They should have remained in the vineyard of the lord where their criminality is well protected by our laws. |
I am just thinking how i will celebrate if and when Buhari is declared the flag bearer for Apc in the 2015 presidential elections but i will like you to suggest how best to celebrate the victory. |
This was supposed to be an open secret ballot. |
It is not as difficult as you may think. All you need do is start stealing and telling lies from childhood and improve on it consistently up to adulthood ; and you have just qualified to contest. So easy. |
Wild dream. Worst prophesy. |
Rudeness versus stealing, which of the two is better ? A disrespectful young man and a nationally acclaimed rogue ; are two fingers of a leprous hand ( one younger son and another elder son of the same parent). |
Nigerians no longer trust pronouncements like this. We have had too many unfulfilled promises of change in the aviation industry. The honourable minister should just concentrate on what he can make in the remaining period of the adminitration. Where corruption reigns, nothing works. |
Religious and polititical leaders must stop thinking they are exempted from nigerian procedures and laws. This attitude has pushed us to the state of anarchy we have found ourselves today. Am not being particular about this case but with all mis-behaving leaders in the country. |
mercielizzie:. I may not have done much in building Nigeria but i have not added to the country's woes in the way our so called men of god ( or gods of men) have done. Many of them deceive, cheat and exploit gullible nigerians just like the politicians. |
We have many leaders like Mugabe in nigeria. Thay talk with their foot. I think it is a consequence of power drunkeness. Imagine a political elder accusing another party of planning to kill a sitting president !! |
Nigeria government enjoys talking without action just like the citizens it governs. Nigerians need to step forward to demand that the government does the needful without further delay. As a people we have lived in denial for too long and our suffering has matured over time. Very few countries are as backward as nigeria right now just because our people have refused to demand answers and actions from the ruling class. |
The bishop, like others has failed to talk about the actual problems confronting nigerians. I suppose the pastors should be addressing issues like poverty, corruption and insecurity that are reducing the citizens to nuts. All this talk about "grave this, grave that " offers no practical solution to the problems on hand. If they have nothing realistic to contribute, let them stop deceiving and exploiting the people the way our politicians are doing. |
Although not very impressed with the interview but i think it would be suicidal if he openly discuss how he is going to tackle corruption. That kind of approach denied some good leaders the chance to win elections in the past. Examples are obafemi awolowo and aminu kano. Sometimes it is good not to discuss such details in the media. |
MrOlai:Hypocrates just like the pharisees and saducees of old... |
Whoever has not been involved in any of these acts , let him/her throw the first stone. |
Ijebulogic:Nigeria cannot be recognised by the citizens as the biggest economy in Africa by any standard because corruption is still on the throne and poverty prevails in the country. The world bank can give the country any tlitle it wants. |
God is not a partlial being. Before He will deliver the country from boko haram, He will first deal with those that brought poverty to nigeria - the corrupt political class. |
Prices are sticky downwards in nigeria. Once they move up, they never come down. But I think the reaction of our people can make the price of fuel come down. |
If truly he is a man of God, let him profer instant solution to the issue of boko haram to convince the doubting thomases. |
Too many fingers are pointing at Chad. Nigerian government must wake up from its slumber. If the FG refuses to act on this matter, nigerians must not keep quiet until the needful is done. |
Suffering and smiling. Hunger and anger all over Nigeria . |
When is Jonathan coming to baba to prostrate and seek forgiveness ? It is long overdue. |
Arik is my regular airline to new york. I enjoy flying direct to my destination. |
