regenerateman: The supreme Court has severally held that election of party leaders is an internal affairs of a political and no court in land can adjudicate on leadership issue in a political party. How relevance is this judgment vis-a- vis the supreme Court ruling? The same court also stated that when a party disregards it's own laws, the court will intervene |

Politics › Re: PDP: Court Nullifies National Convention in Ibadan, Turaki & Wike Factions React by Akpakomiza2: 6:00pm On Jan 30 |
fergie001: Background:
Turaki had approached a Federal High Court for an order of mandamus compelling the court to recognise its leadership. Justice Nma Agomuo held that Justices Omotosho & Lifu had ruled on issues about the propriety or otherwise of the National Convention hence she cannot sit on appeal on a Court of coordinate jurisdiction.
She held that since the tenure of the Damagum-led PDP had expired, the Party can only work with a Caretaker Committee. This means the Turaki faction is illegal. Can you help the apex court judgment on Sule Alhaji vs Ombugadu 2024 |

Fiscus105: Mr lawyer, give it to someone who leave around you to explain the extract of CJ below for you to read and explain for you, make sure you ask for the meaning of substantive suit and every other English you don't understand.
Meanwhile, use your common sense......if the lawyer to gov & deputy, know that, if they vacate it at higher court, they must constitute panel immediately, won't they oppose wen lawyer to the defendant as adjournment indefinitely. If you had common sense, you would have known that going to court alone will not stop the impeachment or anything except theres a final order. Why do you think they got an injunction or exparte order rather than going through to the substantive suit? Why is the speaker going to appeal to vacate the injunctions? Why not wait for the high court to determine the substantive suit you have been blabbing? If you don't know anything, ask and stop embarrassing yourself |

Politics › Re: Rivers: Court Adjourns Fubara’s Impeachment Challenge Indefinitely by Akpakomiza2: 10:15pm On Jan 23 |
Fiscus105: If appeal court vacates it, Fubara camp will take it to supreme court(Ex Parte), if supreme court vacates the Ex Parte, the case will not come back to state high court for hearing(SUBSTANTIVE CASE), don't forget, it's the same Rivers State CJ that will also assign the case for judge he wishes to give, ........... before they finish the case, it would be around 2028.
It's time to teach gragra man of Rivers the real politics. Lol, the supreme court hardly gives ex parte order sir . Once the exparte is vacated, it's all over. The substantive case does not stop anything sir |

Fayose also said that Makinde will never get the ticket in PDP for his presidential ambition, that he can contest in another party but they won't allow him in PDP. What happened at Liberty stadium? Oyo people love makinde and will vote his candidate |

eejo: Explain Why many Nigerians are going to lose their money. Business, Houses and lives which will escalate into the worst Humanitarian crisis in the History of mankind over the next 25 years. They will lose their money and property because of national debt, crisis occasioned by over population, insecurity due to bad governance... The Nigeria is predicted to be the third most populous country by 2050, our resources and national growth can't cater for the population hence leading to a humanitarian crisis. Again, the rising cost of living will push many into poverty and depression. Unemployment and poor education will aid insecurity which will displace many in the country.. Additionally, desertification in the north will over displace people. |

givedemwotowoto: Buhari had 12 million supporters from the north in 2015 and 2019, but only 6 million of them voted for Tinubu in 2023, which means only half of Buhari’s supporters voted for Tinubu. Now that he’s President and has failed, and Buhari is not there to save him, that number will even be smaller. But Tinubu didn't have up to 6 million votes in the north. He had just over 5 mil while south gave him 3 mil. Buhari didn't really save him, buhari was more or less neutral. Tinubu will have more votes in the north. Even if it reduces, he would have more down south and middle belt |
