Politics › Re: Muslims Are More Than Christians In Nigeria - Remi Tinubu by Akpakomiza2: 11:28pm On Feb 17
lawani:
Osun is majority Christian. More than half of the population is in Ife Ijesa and the zone is majority Christian. The other zones still have Christians. In the nineteenth century there were many Muslims in Yoruba land but nowadays we have more Christians including hundreds of thousands bearing Muslim names. The SW is clearly majority Christian nowadays. The NC too is majority Christian. Benue, Plateau and Kogi are mainly Christian with Benue and Plateau almost 100 percent The NW will struggle to have ninety percent Muslim because of Kaduna while the NE may have a slight majority of Muslim. The SE and SS are more than ninety percent Christian. However the NW population maybe up to the NE and NC combined while the SW population is also up to SE and SS combined.
40% of SW is Muslim, 55% of north central is muslims.65% of ne

It gives Obi an advantage but it's not uhuru.
True. Atiku will restrategize. Direct primaries is the most democratic form of internal party elections...

So you have the supreme court judgment of isyaku vs APC 2026 fct primaries

They supported it because they intend to by-pass their Governors.
The National now determines what it wants for every position.

It is democratic sha! 😂
That is not possible. The governors will still prevail

The vigor of Nigerians to register for PVC and the call for mandatory e- transmission of results shows that they are tired of APC. APC should not fool themselves with all these defections of governors , e no be guarantee victory, I hope say dem know.
Such vigour was shown in 2019

Greenfusion:
Tinubu is a local champion, he only has power for sharing money and re-election, aside these, powerless....i give it to OBJ, he commands global and international influence. Obj cannot be president and terrorist would be ravaging nigeria....he would not take such nonsense.
Tinubu has more international connection than any other president

you still don't know political permutations. Whatever Tinubu got in the north in 2023 has been reduced by more than half now.
How do you know that? Atiku own has also reduced down south
Politics › Re: Tinubu Winning South East With A Landslide by Akpakomiza2: 9:46am On Feb 13
Svoboda:
Is it not the same way Gej was receiving endorsements, and in the end, what happened? Like I told you, let's see how many candidates in the APC that will campaign with Tinubus image on their posters. How many votes can rarara generate for Tinubu? To add salt to injury, he's thinking of setting up a military base in the north. You and I know how that would reverberate in the Muslim north and what it portends.
You are missing the points. No emir or or foremost northern leader ever endorsed Gej. Right from the get go, it was Sai buhari. No northern emir has ever endorsed any candidate. Kano governor will not defect if Tinubu isn't sellable.Even in 2011, buhari rubbished Gej in the north. Tinubu on the other hand humiliated Atiku in the north, there's no way Atiku can make a headway. APC has too many gladiators in the north to get Tinubu across the line while Atiku lacks same down south.Even if Atiku wins core north, he will lose north central and the entire South. He has no pathway.
Politics › Re: Tinubu Winning South East With A Landslide by Akpakomiza2: 10:36pm On Feb 12
Svoboda:
The north is terribly angry with the president. And it cuts across party limes. Go and feel the pulse on the streets. APC govs me ght return, but they won't stick their necks for Tinubu against the pulse of the people. Likewise, all the clerics who supported him are giving him subtle digs. Let's wait and see just how many APC candidates will campaign with his image like they did with Buharis in the north.
The emir of Gumel and all traditional rulers in Jigawa endorsed Tinubu, this has never happened. Rarara just endorsed Tinubu. Like I always tell you, atiku or kwankwaso can not get bloc votes in the north. Don't forget presidential elections comes first before Guber.

No matter how hard he tries, he can't even get the 25% percent threshold, because he is dealing with moneybags who have no electoral value in the southeast. For context, Obi Cubanas brother has been struggling to get to the house of reps for years, and despite being associated with the Cubana label has failed woefully. None of them can guarantee that they can win their polling units for Tinubu in 2027. That said, this govt are masters in the use and dump syndrome. The looming implosion in the APC will crystallize like a volcano soon after the primaries. A lot of his loyalists are keeping the lid on their anger. In Kano, Jibrin Barau and Ganduje have already started off their proxy war over who controls Kano APC. This is just the appetizer.
No party implodes, aggrieved or dissatisfied parties defect. ADC is even likely to implode before APC
Politics › Re: Sections Of The Electoral Act Which Requires “Real-time Or INSTANT” Transmission by Akpakomiza2: 10:57pm On Feb 10
BluntCrazeMan:
Then, that Polling-Unit would be cancelled.??

What I am saying is,, if the result is not transmitted instantly (whereas it is supposed to be instant), then two options are available.

1. Either to proceed without collating the results of the Polling-Unit. The results can only be added during the time of FINAL REVIEW BY THE RETURNING OFFICER -- when the Returning officer would be settling the final disputes according to the procedures listed in the Electoral Act.
(This would cause our collation officers to actually settle disputes during collation)

2. Or to wait for the result to still pop-up in the IREV-Portal.
No sir, once there's no network within an hour, the next available copy should be deployed. The essence of this innovation is not just transparency but speed

Politics › Re: Sections Of The Electoral Act Which Requires “Real-time Or INSTANT” Transmission by Akpakomiza2: 7:28pm On Feb 10
BluntCrazeMan:
That move by the Senate is a total waste of Plenary time.

There should be no alternatives oo..

If the system fails, they should wait.
If the results didn't upload, THE COLLATION FOR THOSE PARTICULAR POLLING-UNITS INVOLVED “SHALL” NOT COMMENCE -- until the results get successfully uploaded to the IREV-Portal.

.

THEY WANT TO CREATE LOOPHOLES.
With this, they will be allowing lots of glitches back-to-back, so that they can resort back to the use of papers.. (that would also be lots of waste of our money invested in these systems -- which would definitely fail again on the day of election)

The Electoral-Act should also retain that the duplicate copies of the result-sheets should be given to the police and the Party agents==>> (Section:60(3)..)
No sir, real time means it must be sent instantly. If there's a delay, then the purpose is defeated
Politics › Re: Senate Passes E-transmission Of Results with 'clause' by Akpakomiza2: 7:02pm On Feb 10
obailala:
If I send a message on Whatsapp, even if there's no network on my phone, the message registers on the system as being sent and whenever network returns to the phone, the message will be delivered.

The most important point here is that it registers on the system as being uploaded at a certain timestamp and there should be no option to resend or alter the uploaded result at a later time or date.
That's what happened in 2023 and other elections sir. Polling unit results where sent and because of the glitch, they couldn't be delivered or transmitted to irev for a few hours but within 24 hours, 95% went. Now if result of a unit are sent it can't get to the server until two days later, what is the difference with that we currently have? Are you even aware that even before the results is uploaded, they could change figures on ground?

They can convey their bvas machines to their LG headquarters so that the uploaded results will drop into irev automatically. It is not rocket science.
Then where is the real time upload
Politics › Re: Senate Passes E-transmission Of Results with 'clause' by Akpakomiza2: 4:14pm On Feb 10

This doesn't make sense at all

With bivas transmission doesn't require network, once transmitted it locks and delivers to the server once there is network

At least u can't tell me ward collection won't have internet
Then what is the essence of real time? Is that not what happened in 2023

Sure,with a large margin.
The governor is much loved and Tinubu is the only president that is intentional about returning peace in plateau state.
Just on Sunday, he ordered a special battalion of CDS special forces to face bandits in wase LGC,kanam LGC and other affected areas within the state.
The only thing plateau people need is peace. They are had working, intelligent and industrious people. The land is fertile and blessed with a lot of mineral resources. It's blessed with the best weather conditions in Nigeria 🇳🇬.
I think there's relative calm now in Benue plateau. Next is core north. Obi might still win plateau

The voter hyperinflation from the north has come home to roast.
The true voter figure of the north would be revealed in 2027.
With real-time transmission of results, the northern shenanigans will stop.
I believe Tinubu will win plateau

Other than the words of a Mahmood Yakubu, what other proof do you have to that effect?. Are we to trus and belive an INEC who would not willingly issue certified true copies or one which would rather announce results at 4 am?. How about a breakdown of INEC's election budged and the implementation the same, where is the report?.

Fair and square your left yansh.
Obi had all the time to showcase rigging and how he won but failed woefully. If you are using the words of inec as evidence, be my guest... Is there any law that forbids announcement of results by 4am? So if they ended all their collation and calculations by 4am, they should keep waiting till everyone is awake? My brother, you guys lack tangible proofs hence holding into mundane and irrelevant issues.

And what makes you think that you must be voted for by the north exclusively to become president. Yes, the north also voted for Mr. Obi, and when his votes in Benue, which he won and all the deductions from his are restored, we know who won the election.

As for you, you are probably using borrowed data to surf the internet, but do yourself a big favor and do a little holistic research on the subject without your obvious bias, if you can.
When you can't win the whole south, then you need to win the north or get reasonable votes there. Obi won SE, narrowly will won the SS and lost everywhere else. If you add his deducted votes in rivers and benue, he still lost
