Omelettes are just what we Nigerians call fried eggs (which you whisk and fry). The way mai shai mallams fry their eggs . You have the option of putting vegetables like tomatoes etc, onions, even bacon, prawns or whatever suits your taste buds in it
Interesting. Thanks

That’s not actually bad. (But I understand that’s subjective).

Have you checked the online stores that ship to Nigeria? There might be real authentic ones that don’t cost an arm and a leg
I haven't checked online. I'll check it on AliExpress

You can get Sumo products. I got the set of non stick pots, they have one with frying pan. The pan alone should be like 3500 for a small size. The key to using your non stick pots for long is to use only wooden spatula/spoon or heat resistant plastic spoon on it. Avoid using metal cooking utensils on it. That's what scratches it. I have had mine for almost a year and they look good without so many scratches (except for the smallest one that hubby has designed with iron spoon cos he likes using that to boil yam for himself.)
Oh thanks. I'll check it online.
I noticed the iron spoon issue too. I'll try and get the woodenware too

That’s kind of what makes it an omelette (at least in American lingo). But I guess you can still skip the cheese.

Where did you find the pans?
At the local markets here. They said the smallest one costs 5,000

Hi. It’s coco. I was banned by anti spam bot when I tried to respond to you earlier.

So omelette is just shallow fried egg with cheese to hold it together and then add toppings or fillings of your choice.

The non stick pan should last if you invest in a quality one. I learned the hard way. Some of them fade off or peel off. Or they just stick even when they claim to be non-stick. Some were even scratching my glass stove top.

I switched to le crueset brand and couldn’t be happier. It’s a bit pricy but they have 10 years Minimum warranty if there’s even a scratch on any of them. You do have to buy directly from them for that to apply.

I know there are other advertised good brands as well but I haven’t used any of them and can’t vouch for them.
Thanks for the explanation. I'm sorry for the ban. Well I priced some over here but they were too expensive..my level never reach that one sha

Must I use cheese for omelette

This looks great. Nice combo.

As for the fellow derailing the thread and constituting a nuisance in a public forum, I suggest two options to disinfect his toxicity: ignore him permanently, report his posts. Indulging his childishness makes him feel important. A good number of folks here (including me) have tried to stop him from bashing people and unfortunately, he remains unrepentant. As a result, he has to be blacklisted.
Thanks!

May God deliver him!

Modified
Dear Logobenz,

I know you've warned me not to correct you again but permit my intrusion.
I believe you have a problem called inferiority complex or maybe battered ego/esteem. You "may" have made money early but you didn't acquire common sense while making money. Unfortunately, your money cannot buy you sense. My "poor" advice to you is that;
1. You should learn how to be humble. Pride is a deadly disease. Start by checking the meaning of humility.... it'll help in your journey to the humble land.
2. Work on your self esteem. Do you know you don't need to talk people down to feel big? Maybe you've been bullied by rich guyz/girls in the past or maybe you've been oppressed for been poor, it shouldn't break you boss. Grow through what you go through.
3. Life isn't about money alone. Your money, power and fame is useless until you start living a life of impact. How many lives do you impact positively? Let your life be about impact... you'd be surprised with the result
4. Get a mentor. Like Ornicus said earlier, mentors are necessary. I wish I had/have a mentor. Get yourself a morally sound mentor and thank us later.
5. See a therapist!

Permit my poor English and lengthy reply. By the way, let's test your wealth. Can we?
Happy Sunday!
