As with Niwicable, i am not particularly bullish on livestock either BUT WITH THE BOTH OF THEM, TOMORROW WILL DECIDE!

@upward

yes dsr is looking attractive but i think it will get even more so. the rsi may remain less than 30 for who knows how long. i would get in when i see signs of it bottoming out but maybe its all wishful thinking to think it still has more falling to do.

President wey suppose fix energy sector, provide enabling enviroment dey carry him babanriga load cement. Misplaced priorities!
this is a delicious comment Ioma. i suppose if he starts sorting it out companies like wapco can produce cement with less overhead costs and be able to sell it more affordably. but thats just my thinking. i guess its easier to just import instead of bothering to produce. short term measures as usual. undecided undecided undecided

Please post link for today`s price
dont have it sorry.

looks like wapco is coming dangerously close to its support level of around N60. lets see if it bounces off that. its now trading below its 10, 20,50,200 and 500day EMAs. other indicators pointing negative seriously too ie the rsi, macd and macd histogram.

if it bounces off its support it would be interesting. somethings gotta stop this free fall!
InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by aktopgun(m): 2:08pm On Feb 26, 2008
wapco still hemorrhaging. lost full 5% today. wonder what the candlestick for today will look like. na wa o. its looking attractive at these prices ke. the company isnt that bad ke.

As expected, oando is flying and so are many of its mates in that sector. 4 of them make up the top 4 gainers today with chevron leading the pack

@ Nairalanders

Shock! Horror!!

Judge decides that Yaradua to continue.

Excluded voters did not sue that they were not allowed to vote!!

Maurice Iwu ought not to have been joined in his personal capacity.

There were substantial compliance in the disputed states.

Non binding of ballot papers nor non-serialisation did not affect outcome i.e. no evidence

Failure to include the correct logo of one of the contestant - no evidence that any voter was deceived by this and did not substantially affect outcome.

Still going on but as we used to say after crossing the Sahara by foot without assistance - the rest is history.

The irregularities did not substantially affect the outcome of the election.

Samstone4  cool cool cool cool
u seem surprised  cheesy  cheesy  cheesy

we say there were irregularities but not enough to have affected the end results. interpreting that drivel into english simply means we opted for less than the best, less than the nigerian people deserve. although there is the argument that a people deserve the leader they get.

either way, i personally don't see how the nigerian people benefit from this. even if the judge had upturned the result, what were the options fpr nigerian voters? Atiku or Buhari. C'mon

We still have a little ways to go i believe but i am hopeful we will get there

Only Buhari's dismissed so far but looking like Yaradua will stay.

Stacks Thank you.Father of 2,Aktopgun et all why is it that sometimes though you put your cscs no on your PO form,they still issue certificates to you rather than crediting your cscs account?
i have no idea. i guess its one of the irregularities that remains in the NSE. i know of people who have had their Dangote flour shares credited to their CSCS accounts and i have also heard of people who have gotten certificates. beats me bro.

i can only hope these irregularities are slowly corrected over time to further level the playing field.

@bros wanajo
i placed an order for oando today. as u know, i was a bit slow on this one cuz i highlighted it at the end of last yr if u remember.
i sincerely hope my broker gets it but he wasnt sounding too hopeful (i bind him cheesy cheesy). let him earn his dosh today.

btw, i cancelled that order on that insurance company. not juicy enough yet for me. in fact e sour on further reflection

@kayodus, I used to use apti and metastock, but that was taking time, nigeriansecurities.com has a great TA tool now going back 2yrs, they started that part like end of 2007 so I stopped importing data.
That candlesticks website was posted withn the past week before by someone, and I bookmarked it, excellent site, it has proved right for all stocks on my portfolio for most part.
its a good site posted on here over the weekend. it is good for beginning to understand candlesticks. However, not enough patterns or explanations.
if u want to effectively use it to trade i would suggest u get the book by Greg Morris called Cnadlestick charting explained. Goldmine!!. the bible of candlestick charting outside of sakata's own candlestick charting book.

@kayodeus

oloruko egbon mi! u go pay o! cheesy cheesy try this charting site and type in candlestick charting- stockcharts.com

chei, thank god say i dont have to go to work in the morning, i for just dey prescribe kulikuli for my patients.

aOn the scoa chart above, i dont know whats driving the price but hte chart shows 4-price doji over the past week becasue as u know scoa is an illiquid stock and is quite thinly traded.
the bears have made 2 failed attempts in the last 8 market days to spoil the joy for scoa but have failed. all the other indicators are of course quite bearish given the extended bull run its been on. i would wait to see a clearer candle pattern to form but thats me. in the mean time if i am already on the flight i would enjoy the ride but if not, i wouldnt even try to get on this one now, that would be like trying to catch flash gordon!! cheesy cheesy

Yes, this is the Windy Wendy that we all know.  After all this grammar on the stock, even if the thing no work, one is happy.  Thanks for throwing nepa light on LASACO, it went to confirm my thinkings about the stock.  You are invaluable to this forum.  When I used that grammar "invaluable" for one man the other, the man thought I meant that he had no value, na God deliver me from en hand grin grin  I know madam Wendy knows what I mean.

@beginner, u no dey sleep?  cheesy  cheesy

the market remains undecided. there is less and less trading on fidelity for now. A doji formed today showing this indecisiveness.

actually the other indicators dont look bad at all. so i would hold on to see who wins but thats me
