@ Aktopgun

Well Ive been out of the market for a while now and thinking about making some purchases after selling ma firstbank and lasaco.

What do the candles say about Afribank and Diamond bank entry tomorrow.

I was reading the ABCtrans chart and saw that the RSI is gradually trending above the 70 line, would it still be safe to buy at this point?

Would anyone still recommend Japaul as a good entry now, I know PO buyers are going to be getting certificate soon, so does that mean It would be wise to wait it out.

I think an imminent breakout is in the offset with both Afribank and Diamond with all the rumours and FYE coming up.

Well, was jus waiting for your honest opinion.

Abeg I no say I don dey speak english since, make you help me with this shares eh
personally,
diamond - i would buy at yesterday or today's price. there's a lot of indecision in the market and it is currently in a trading range. Last week wed. or even monday this week would have been great days to buy it but its not bad currently.

afribank- please see my thoughts on this one to pumping one page back on this thread

ABC- 4-price dojis from last week but interestingly the volume has also been consistently DECLINING. that makes me think someone pumped out a lot of volume and is now slowly mopping it back up and the volume being sold is reducing but the price rising. i would be cautious on this one but thats me.

hope this helps

And what also happened to Man disunited a few seasons ago when they were leading in the table and seemingly had the title in the bag but they crumbled at a very critical time and the rest is history!

Liverpool lost at Anfield last week to a team that's how many divisions below them? so Anfield ain't a  problem at all! Tottenham anytime them be boyz  compared 2 men as far as Arsenal is concerned and you know it!

@roughcut,

i used to like u  tongue  tongue grin  grin. what is 5 points to the great ones? i see u are not a student of history. have u guys not led with 12 points in the not too distant past that we caught u and won the title? so 5 points aint no thang! u are comint to the thetre of dreams are u not? u are going to play tottenham and chelsea are u not? u are still going to anfield are u not? arsenal's season started crumbling from last week  grin  grin.

Hello,

Great gurus. on this thread. Abeg oh . I get some neimeth,. What should my exit point be? Abeg before this bus travel too far make person come down before armed robbers enter the bus. Please what should my exit point be for neimeth and ABC transport. Also is UNIC Insurance a good buy. I entered it on monday and since then its been making loss everyday. Should i be patient or should i exit. Please Advice.

7 great gbosa for Sir Napolean, Pumping777, Fo2.

Clickdeoye
@deoye, if i may, U and u alone determine ur exit point. even if some of the share u bought are showing red on ur portfolio now doesnt mean it will remain that way as long as they are fundamentally sound companies. investing is a matter of time and u need to decide how much risk u can stomach. What do u want to achieve with each company u put ur hard earned money? is it long term, short or SIRO  grin. Why did i buy the stock? etc.

happy investing

@omoba3

from ur chart on afribank, its within a tight trading range between N26 and N27 naira and has been so since mid january. this news about a good result will help. the Macd is trading above its trigger line and the histogram is positive.

there price isnt currently trending ad u can see from the ADX, the fast and slow stochastics are above their triger lines as well. It might be a good tome to buy. lets wait and see what today brings but i suspect there's only one direction the prices will go in th enear future. Maiduguri.

The beauty of a thread like this is the diversity of opinion and tools available for decision making. Personally I don't place much value on candle talk. but for die hard short termers it is an invaluable tool. Me, I don't trust the charts. The charts for transcorp up until the day of the reversal would have given no indication of the possibilty of such fundamental happenings. That said I believe that everyone is welcome to contribute what he has to the development of this thread. Whoever is not comfortable with a particular method can just ignore any mention of it. I actually skip a lot of the information on this thread. I take what I can use and leave the rest. That I don't like amala does not mean they should not sell it in my favourite restauarant.
@frankiriri

well said bro. whilst i'm not holding brief for candlestick analysis, i don't expect anyone to make decisions blindly at all. Regardless of what the candles say or said. i woudnt not have bought Transcorp for all the Harami in japan!
that said though, the candles did predict the upturn in transcorp after a sustained bear run. Please observe below the chart. just this once wink

Mr. Risky:
Any company that records a huge loss now is my target.  Look at Cutix, it has made close to 100% after a woeful result, Look at Evans medical, it has recorded over 90% after a gangantuan loss.  Look at Transcorp, no result, but it is even on BID during TS, and many others.  Then see Diamond bank with good result, na push and start, First bank, push and start, UBA na push and no start sef.   NSEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Understand that even though a fundamentally good company announces a not so good result, it may not be all that bad as long as the company itself hasnt changed. it just had a bad quarter or year. now u also have to ask why? it could be that business is normally slow at that time of year or it could be( more dangerously), that thier market is shrinking.

In the case of the big boys u mentioned ie fbn and co, u know their time will surely come. it takes a lot to move their prices and one reason is thta they are nominally thought to be high already

roughcut and i looked at Cutix late last year and based on the analysis at the time i recommended he buy it. all the analysis was done on here. he had some reservations at the time but went ahead with it and the rest is history.

based on the analysis then it had just done a split and was marked down for it. it was at about N25 when the stock slit occured, cant remeber the ratio by heart right now but the price came down to about 11 or so. From the fundamental analysis based on nformation available at the time they are a solid company and looking to continue doing well.
roughcut and i both got in (i got in at 13.50). i see the price steadily climbing to its pre-split price. donthave easi's sheet at hand so cant give u figures on the fundamentals but will check when i get home
