Romance15 Good Places To Meet Potential Spouse During Christmas by Aladeintl(op): 5:01am On Dec 15, 2022
.You want to marry? You are looking for a Christian partner to marry as it’s supposed to be? And this is Christmas time?

Welcome to day 12 of 2022 Blogmas themed LOVE OF CHRIST. It has been 12th day of talking about Christ and His birth and how to have a godly fun-filled Christmas celebration.

Now, to today’s episode. 15 godly places to check for a suitable partner during this Christmas:

1. Your DM: Sister, go and reply all your online messages. Maybe he is there.

Brother, send that DM today and express your intent to be her future husband. Worse thing that can happen is no.

2. Family Gatherings and Meetings: during this festive period, most families will have their sojourning members at home for Celebration. You or your parents, friend or siblings may got invited to one and who knows what may happen after.

3. Youth fellowship programs: Mama has been disturbing you for grandkid. But how do give her grandkid when you are not even marry? Now, let me tell you a secret, many youth fellowships will organize end of the year programs creating a great opportunity for singles to meet potential spouse.

5. Through your parents: Yes! You read me well! You can actually meet your LOML through your parents, mentors or any spiritual authority over you. Why not go on and ask for their recommendations? Maybe by this time next year, you are happily married.

6. School Reunions: if you are lucky that your alma mater organizes their reunion during this period, why not take some times to attend. You may find your wife or husband there.

7. Ceremonies: I can’t count how many person have met their future spouses by attending ceremonies especially wedding ceremonies. Because many family members will come home for Christmas celebration, most families usually fix their kids’ weddings in December, therefore, there will be plenty wedding invites. Make sure you attend as many as possible and be observant.

8. Sunday School Class/group: yes! That normal Sunday school that you attend weekly. The same one.

That your worded, tongue speaking, gentle cute male Sunday school teacher.

That your sonorous beautiful angelic female Sunday school teacher that tick all your boxes.

Think about this; why is it that that sister always sit beside you or have something to say after your brief contribution to the lesson?

9. Your friend: I know you know him from diapers but if you don’t marry your friend who are you trying to marry? Your enemy?

Now, beam your searchlight to that single friend of yours and you will see that everything you have been looking for in sòkòtò is inside the pocket of your sókótó.

Caveat; dear men, God helps you if she says no because you are gonna lose both her and her friendship but who cares, you said. Men die once.

10. Gym: hit the gym, dude. You may meet him/her there.

You can meet your future partner here or start a friendship with fellow gymnasts which can lead to meeting your partner.

What if I don’t get a spouse? Well, you will get a great body by exercising

11. December retreats: Most congregations organized special Christmas programs in form of conventions, meetings, camping, and retreats, which normally concern all ages and gender cadres.

Winners chapel just finished the Shiloh program.

RCCG just concluded Holy Ghost Congress with let-go-a-fishing coming up on Christmas day.

Deeper Life Bible Church also has one week December retreat.

Nigerian Baptist Convention will be having Baptist Night of Wonders this Friday.

Apart from potentially praying for divine guidance concerning life and choice of spouse, someone’s daughter or son may collect your number and who knows?

12. You may be curious as to where I met my wife. I met her under a mango tree at a particular prayer ground through a particular elder in the Lord.

I want you to add places 13, 14, and 15 in the comment section.

Thanks. See you tomorrow

Christianity Etc20 Christmas Gift Ideas For Your Pastor. by Aladeintl(op): 11:13pm On Dec 11, 2022
Welcome to another day of Blogmas themed LOVE OF CHRIST. Like always, I say; thank you for being here and engaging.

www joelalade.home.blog

Today, I want us to talk about the most neglected set of people in the church – the pastors. Nobody seems to care about their welfare, their families, or their health because we guess they are superheroes. But they are not, Pastors are human like us with struggles, aspirations, yearnings and desires and they are worthy to be celebrated and appreciated.

www joelalade.home.blog

Why should I appreciate my pastor? After all, his/her salaries are being paid? You should celebrate him/her because God said so. Why? See below:

Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially those who labour in the word and doctrine. For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain,” and, “The labourer is worthy of his wages.”
I Timothy 5:17‭-‬18 NKJV

Who are the elders in your congregation? The first elder is your pastor(s). Why did God commanded it? Because they laboured over us in words and doctrine. The first honour is the salary, to double the honour, a gift won’t be a bad idea.

Another Bible verse to affirm God’s Word concerning your MoG.

If we have sown spiritual things for you, is it a great thing if we reap your material things? Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel.
I Corinthians 9:11‭, ‬14 NKJV

Can you tell me how best and thoughtful to spread the love of Christ if not through gifts to our servants of God?

Having been cleared about gifts for our men of God, listed below are the best, inspiring, thoughtful, perfect, unique and gorgeous gifts for your pastors:

Raw Food materials e.g., yam, rice, beans, garri, banana, plantain, etc

Christianity Etc5 Must Do Things During Christmas Time by Aladeintl(op): 4:04pm On Dec 09, 2022
.

It’s day 9 already. Welcome to another episode of the 2022 Blogmas themed The love of Christ. I love you.

Today, let’s discuss 5 spiritual activities for Christians during Christmas and after noel.

First, we must believe like Mary. Like Mary believed the word of Angel Gabriel about immaculate conception, so we as believers must believe that God specializes in turning impossibilities into possibilities and that all His word is Yes and Amen.

Mary asked the angel, “How can this be, since I have not been intimate with a man? ” The angel replied to her: “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the holy One to be born will be called the Son of God. For nothing will be impossible with God.” “I am the Lord’s slave,” said Mary. “May it be done to me according to your word.” Then the angel left her.
Luke 1:34‭-‬35‭, ‬37‭-‬38 HCSB

Furthermore, we have to trust like Joseph. Common! This guy has probably kept himself, spend on his relationship with Mary, have boasted of her chastity to friends, and probably sent a wedding IV, and here is his fiancee telling him she is pregnant. For who? For Holy Spirit? But he trusts God through His angel that the Almighty got his best interest at heart.

Are we ready to trust God by staying from premarital sex with the knowledge that it was His love that gave us that command?

Are we ready to follow the Ancient of days injunction about love and submission in our marriage with the background that He adores orderliness?

Are we going to rely on Him completely knowing that He can’t disappoint?

So her husband Joseph, being a righteous man, and not wanting to disgrace her publicly, decided to divorce her secretly. But after he had considered these things, an angel of the Lord suddenly appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, don’t be afraid to take Mary as your wife, because what has been conceived in her is by the Holy Spirit. When Joseph got up from sleeping, he did as the Lord’s angel had commanded him. He married her but did not know her intimately until she gave birth to a son. And he named Him Jesus.
Matthew 1:19‭-‬20‭, ‬24‭-‬25 HCSB

If Joseph didn’t trust God at that point when it made no sense to do, he would have missed out on parenting the greatest human on earth – Jesus.

Thirdly, our hope should be like that shepherds out on the filed of work.

Here is an angel telling them what had never been heard before in human history, yet they rejoiced at the hope of seeing the Saviour of the world.

In the same region, shepherds were staying out in the fields and keeping watch at night over their flock. Then an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, for look, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people: Today a Savior, who is Messiah the Lord, was born for you in the city of David. When the angels had left them and returned to heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go straight to Bethlehem and see what has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.” They hurried off and found both Mary and Joseph, and the baby who was lying in the feeding trough. After seeing them, they reported the message they were told about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.
Luke 2:8‭-‬13‭, ‬15‭-‬18 HCSB.

Their hope lead to steps and the step taken made them become the first evangelists of the Good News.

Dear never lose hope in Yahweh. He will never be late.

We should hope for the restoration of Israel, the rapture of the church, the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and Resurrection of the righteous.

Moreover, seek like the Wise men. Seek who? Seek Jesus like Wise men. To do what? To worship the King of kings

After Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of King Herod, wise men from the east arrived unexpectedly in Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.”
Matthew 2:1‭-‬2 HCSB

They obviously don’t need the baby Jesus for any miracles, gifts or what they could get but to bow down and acknowledge His kingship.

The command is to seek God early in the morning and at night, do not withhold.

Seek him while He is near.

In addition, let’s worship Jesus like the angels.

How do they angels worship The I am that I?

They worship passionately.

They worship wholeheartedly.

They worship by announcing His birth.

Then an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, for look, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people:
Luke 2:9‭-‬10 HCSB

They worship Him by declaring His eternal Holiness

Then, lastly, love like the celebrant Jesus.

“For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 HCSB

Make grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with us as we reflect on this. Amen.

RomanceShould Bride Price Be Paid On Non-virgins? by Aladeintl(op): 11:33pm On Dec 04, 2022
Okay, let's talk about this.

Does it really make any financial sense to pay dowry or bride price for a woman who is not a virgin?

I didn't mean one time offender or rape victims but hookup girls, girls with many body counts.

I mean, a number of men have been on top of this woman, sweating and thrusting into her, looked straight into her eyes during sex while savouring all of her anatomical bliss free of charge or at most with meat pie and one bigi.

So what exactly is the groom paying for?

This is a sincere question any business mind should ask from a financial standpoint.

What is the man paying for if that's who he is getting??

FamilyA Real Sample Of Yoruba Marriage List (Pictures) by Aladeintl(op): 11:02pm On Nov 30, 2022
As far as the bride price is concerned in Nigeria, the Yoruba list remains the cheapest.

Attached in this article is the bride price list that my girlfriend's family gave me for marrying their daughter let me shock you, I still divide some of those items into two.

Note:
1. almost all the items here are general items that will be requested in any part of Yorubaland

2. Some may add one or two things to it, e.g., live goat or chicken.

3. The quantity of each item may be more or less but I can bet you that it won't be outrageous.

4. The bride's father writes the list not the community but if he likes, he may ask for the input of his elderly ones preferably his elder brother (or sister).

The input most time is for the first daughter. After that, the remaining daughter's is a photocopy.

5. It is negotiable.

6. Except for the monetary materials, all other bride price materials will be shared equally by the bride's father and mother and some portion send to both grandparents' families.

7. Any family in Yoruba that gave you a bride price worth 300k should be reported to their religious leaders for greediness and covetousness.

RomanceFor Better, For Worse. by Aladeintl(op): 5:47pm On Nov 28, 2022
We are all familiar with this wedding vow, ' for richer, for poorer, in health and sickness, for better, for worse.'

Most of our brethren in the pentecostal circle have argued against this part of the vow claiming it is a negative confession and that it's not in the bible but in reality, is that statement valid?

In reality, Christian couples must stay together when they are rich, healthy, and better and when they are poor, sick, and worse. What God has joined together, let's no man and situation put asunder.

Two, saying it or not does not add or remove the reality of life. I have been happily married for 14 months and my wife and I have passed through all the stages but they did put us asunder.

We have been rich.

We have experienced a lack.

Two of us have fallen sick at one time or the other.

And we have enjoyed months of healthy living.

We have seen better and worst days

And I am sure, those who have seen longer years in marriage will have stories about those 6 streams of marriage.

But despite all, my wife and I can gratefully thank God that the days of riches, health, and better are far more than the days of poorer, sick, and worse.

Therefore prepare for them, whether you will or you said them on your wedding day, and don't let them put you asunder.

There is time and occasion for everything but we will be praying those good days will outweigh not-so-good days.

For married, did you recite it traditionally or you modified your vows? Whether you recite the traditional vows or modified ones, how many it been?

Singles, are you going to stick to traditional vows or you are going to modify yours?

Christianity EtcWhy Do Modest Ladies Open Their Breasts On Their Wedding Day? by Aladeintl(op): 4:17am On Nov 27, 2022
I knew of a lady who was a Christian with modest apparel and makeup. She covered her breasts and every coverable part as single. As single, she don't use wigs (even now as married, not using wigs) and moves with decent friends who threw caution to the wind on her bridal shower day.

She was in one ill-fitted wig with scantly dressed friends. I'm not judging her but I wonder why?

She is not the only one that has done that. We have seen examples from many supposed believers (barely unknown one to celebs) who don't use make-up or use minimally, who were transformed to UWOs - Unidentified Walking Objects on their wedding days. If we ask them why they will probably answer it's their special and most memorable day. What about your birthday, isn't it a joyous day? Graduation day nko? The day you got the right job? What about when you got saved?

I have also seen ladies who don't open their breasts. I am talking about well-dressed individuals who opened all on their wedding day. Most times, it's as a result of peer pressure from single friends, or the case of unclothedness dey my body, I am just waiting for the perfect time to start manifesting

I can't understand how you uphold modesty in your single days and leave your breast open on your wedding day. (Allison Hyacintho)

I can't understand how you walk with good girls in your single days and your bridal train was full of hook-up girls, vulgar-speaking ladies, and ladies clothed in threads and handkerchiefs who are busy chewing gums and taking selfies throughout the solemnization program

Ladies, I still don't understand the need for vulgar songs on that day. We all know you to be proper Chioma, Hillsong, Frank Edward, and co, avid follower and listener but on your wedding, you plan to tesu mole (naira Marley) and do odowuye? As far as I am concerned, sis, you are just using Chioma and co as a cover for your worldliness.

Lastly, if you want to open all for us on that day, if you want to look like egungun and be surrounded by ladies in rags and threads, start now and stop the pretense.

Christianity EtcTypes Of God's Will by Aladeintl(op): 1:10am On Nov 25, 2022
somewhere or not, etc and it does not violate any of the “wills” above or Scripture (in fact its validity must be subjected to scripture to prove whether it is the will of God or not).

For example, if you have a dream where you married a second wife as a married man, that is not God’s will because it negates His plan for marriage as explicitly stated in the Holy Bible. The “Macedonian call” (Acts 16:6-10), the guidance of Philip (Acts 8:26), and of Peter and Ananias (Acts 10:1-23) are examples.

5. The discerned will of God.
This is the type of will, we get by application of two or more Bible passages, especially on issues not specifically touched in the Bible.

The decision of who to marry, what city to live, what career to pursue, how many children to have, which school to attend, what kind of car to get, what kind of food, shoes, and clothes, and how much money to give to charity and more are not written in the Bible. We use Biblical principles to discern God’s will on it.

The first example is there is nowhere in the Bible where the name of your spouse is written down as in Mr. A of No 2, Oregon street TX USA must marry Miss. B from No 26, African way, Nigeria but if we applied various biblical instructions about Christian marriages and spouse selection, we can deduce whether they can marry themselves.

5. Expected will of God.
These are sets of laws of what God expects us as Christians to do for our benefit and safety.

God expects us to pray, fast, pay our tithes and offerings, be faithful to one spouse, be diligent and be hardworking plus many other good things

Conclusively let’s pray; Teach me to do your will, for you are my God” ( Psalm 143:10 ).

What are your expectations from a relationship. Are you asking wifey duties from her but want to treat your finances towards her as that of a bf, then bros kolewerk.
My submission is that as long as she is still my gf I am not under any obligation to be her provider (and i'm not expecting wifely duties from her) even if when we marry no law I must be responsible for her 24/7.
She also must take responsibility for her life.

BusinessRe: Is Entrepreneurship Over-rated? by Aladeintl: 9:36am On Apr 16, 2018
It is in Nigeria that we got the spirit of enterpreneurship wrong. We think a graduate selling charcoal, barbing hair, farming, doing laundries, trading etc is enterpreneurship. Yes they are but enterpreneurship is more than that.
