What ruling are you talking about, was the case over for a ruling to be given?? Methinks that cownu planned the attack on the the military checkpoints with precision, knowing the military would hit back considering his utterances prior to that attack. The senators are expected to be learned in the first place. A senator should know better than to mess with treasonable issues which is against the sovereignty he swore to protect. Do you see how it works? It was a trap, and abaribe fell into it blindly. It goes to prove non of these idiot senators know why they are there. Look at the case of Saraki making public pronouncements, describing the federal government's proscription of Ipob as illegal just because he wanted to grow and strengthen his support base of the south east senators! Does that show they have the interest of masses/government at heart! It's all about their pockets plus they can't identify their left from their right.

In as much as I'm against the modus operandi used by Nnamdi Kanu for his agitation, I believe that in a democratic settings people are free to protest or make demand within the ambit of the laws of the land.

To tell ourselves the truth, this whole agitation for secession wouldn't have been there in the first place if these thieves in the Senate and the Executive do the right thing... social,economic and political justice, rather they systematically set the stage for all kinds of agitations from the Niger Delta up to the people of the South East.

Nobody who visits Abuja and then visit the south South and south east regions will ever think of One Nigeria,because it is very glaring that even the Duck that lays the golden eggs is left to die in hunger while her eggs are used to make riches.
So also with the East which has been neglected since after the civil war to develop on its own with little or no Federal government presence. No
roads,industries,Federal institutions to help rebuild the area from the effect of war.

Unless drastic measures is taken to restructuring this country to correct all these imbalances,many more Kanus will emerge and by then it will be too late to negotiate.

If truly these senators have the unity of this country at heart as they claim then they should allow for a total restructuring rather than seeking and protecting their selfish interests.

Agreed on the senators' role but on the parable of starving the goose with the golden eggs to die while its eggs are meant for use elsewhere does not make sense.
