Evathyst: Saraki as far as I know is a dead man walking. Until the emergence of David Mark, the seat of the Senate President has never been something a person relaxes on.
Anyways, that's what blind ambition does to someone. It prevents one from seeing the bigger picture and imagining the consequences of one's action. Saraki, when next you come to this world, remember to keep your ambition in check.
Meanwhile, I can see Pa Chukwudi44 up there. I wonder the calibre of Old men we now have in this generation. Gone are the days when old men are virtuous. Smh.
P.S
Any good samaritan can please help me with this;
by Evathyst(f): 10:34am Good morning house,
Please ehn, I'm making this enquiry on behalf of someone. She graduated from OAU, and had since collected her certificate. She was as well mobilised for this upcoming youth service. But the problem is that this person in question doesn't have a valid means of identification;
-She had submitted her OAU I.D card in the course of collecting her certificate. -She didn't have voters card nor did she have a National I.D card. -Drivers licence and international passport, she doesn't posses any.
Now, my question is that what other means of identification can this person in question tender in camp so as not be barred from entering?
Awaiting your prompt response. Hmmm, she had submitted her school id, no problems. She doesnt have a voter's card, must she be interested in politics and voting? It's not a must! National id card, well, isn't that a failed excercise? I read sometime back (not too long ago) where atiku just recently got his national id card and i could'nt believe my eyes! The national id card scheme was inaugurated during the obj era and atiku was his vice! waiting nearly 16yrs to acquire what he was part of the inauguration team is to say the least, "leave the girl alone"! On driver's license, must she be interested in driving, now or whenever?! The only option left open now is to go get a recommendation\identification letter ffom the school and she's good to go. |

rottennaija: I'm sure when NASS survive this, they wouldn't try it again in the next budget.
How can you have to mind to say that a project wasn't in the budget but you knew it was defended, you also knew it was in error that it was left out of the budget. Then you have the mind to remove it, you also take the money to share among other project and then include your own project which wasn't on the budget.
What sort of reasoning is that? If it wasnt in the budget, why did you include your own project that wasn't captured?
My broda, these are the thieves That the IB had been breeding. Do we blame them? No! Afterall "stealing is not corruption"! No wonder they are so pained by the emergence of Buhari. This country will see good in Jesus' name! |

On scale of seriousness, who would you prefer " the yam and goat theory" and " stealing is not corruption"
Just asking? Don't mind the fools. It seems there's not a single person either in the pdp or supporting the pdp that knows the meaning of the word " sarcasm ", let alone understand it! I don't blame them, I just don't know why the president is so afraid of making mistakes cus it's the fear of making a mistake that leads to several mistakes. |

fkj950ax: Obviously the Op doesn't know how telecom networks turn profit.
All that you ask them not to do are the things that bring home the bacon.
They are paid for all those annoying sms. Do the maths... Let's assume they get N1 on every junk sms received by their subscriber... Some cost you N30/month
There is no SERVICE in the world that can be cheap and fast. It's either cheap and crappy, or its premium priced and great (fast).
NTEL is currently looking for Billions in loans to roll out, and you expect them to provide cheap voice calls... Even the finance institutions will ask for them to bump up their call rates so the income flow increases and they can pay back within a shorter period.
It's a business and sole purpose is to make profit... Then ntel is dead on arrival! We got too many scammer network providers already rolled out here for us to be bothered by the emergence of another intending to operate on the same principles. Na by force? Biko leave trash for lawma. (stale yarn I guess). |

opalu: In sane business climes, you could have made a few millions by giving the company this clues. But here, no. Some 4years ago, I packaged some great ideas and gave to the CEO of struggling newspaper in lagos. I told them that this is just the highlights of the solutions and that I will collect 300k which I won't like to receive all upfront but when my ideas start producing results. He was happy and said will get to me. The next month I saw them putting to work some of those summary!! I wasn't surprised when they still folded up less than 9 months later. Something that would have been avoided.

Checked86: It is either you didn't understand my message or you chose not to. You said the police are not trained to kill SUSPECTS except in self defence. Good point there. You called the person suspect and he remains so(a suspect) until he is tried in the court of law. Tell me the work of the police if not to handle such cases like this one. Police get involved because of prejudice. Morally, we all seek for mercy, either from God or fellow human beings, and it wouldn't be mercy if we deserve it, but right. When we steal, we lose our constitutional rights but what of mercy that we all ask from God each day. I want you to search yourself and tell me if that thief deserves such death. What of 10 years imprisonment, or 20 years or even more; with hard labour. I am not a thief, but life should be treated like one. The mob should have called the police. That is my point. None of them deserve to be alive if God should judge us without mercy. Bro, you must be the one who chose not to understand. In the eyes of the mob, an armed robber caught I the act of stealing is already convicted and sentenced! Is that too difficult to understand? Look at the bellow, an incident as reported in another news on nairaland : According to the police command “the suspects confessed to the allegations of the victim’s kidnapping after which they raped, strangulated her and buried her corpse in shallow grave at Ogbosi. “The gang also confessed to have been responsible for the kidnapping Pastor Chukwu Ekere of same Ohigha community and killed him for the simple reason that the man of God disturbed them with his preaching of repentance and also for urging them to shun their nefarious activities and accept God.” For full details, check "armed robbers kill pastor for preaching repentance to them" Abeg no spoil my mood this evening! |
