Good idea, but the DPOs and wardens will always hide their victims once the appointment is booked.. During the ENDSARS protests, the governor visited Awkuzu SARS and only saw about 2 or 3 detainees. Do you need anybody to tell you that like a hyena running away with it's kill, the officers have hidden the main detainees elsewhere?

Yes that's true but the meeting can be made without appointment ( no fixed time )

And secondly each state government or AG can make the office of the visiting magistrate a place where you can report any police station detaining anybody more than 48hrs without charging to court. And the magistrate can then go and free the person and charge the DPO to court or to be disciplined by a committee set up for that

There are ways to stop these nonsense if we are willing.

How did the army know. Did they visit all the looted business to determine that or someone sat in his office to determine that

How did the Nigeria Army come to this conclusion?

That's the question every intelligent person should be asking first

But unfortunately Nigerian are not that intelligent.

The goal of the Army making that statement has been achieved already.....just read through this topic

Divide them along ethnic line.....then conquer them

I do not believe Nigerian people deserve a better leader other than the likes of General Buhari

Thank God I escaped already

Politics / American Hostage Rescued In Northern Nigeria By SEAL Team 6 In Daring Raid by Alaska90(m): 3:11pm On Oct 31, 2020
An American hostage has been rescued in West Africa by SEAL Team 6 in a daring raid, Fox News has learned.

The elite SEAL Team 6 staged a daring raid in the West African country of Nigeria, rescuing Philip Walton, 27, who had been taken hostage, officials told Fox News.

“We had to get him before any potential trade or sale,” one U.S. official said.

President Donald Trump tweeted out a show of support, calling the operation a "big win" for the elite force, and promised further details.

Walton was kidnapped in Niger, which borders Nigeria, earlier this week. The hostage rescue took place in northern Nigeria earlier today.

The SEALs rescued Walton after killing a number of his captors. SEAL Team 6 was chosen for the operation because they are responsible for West Africa, Fox News has learned.

“U.S. forces conducted a hostage rescue operation during the early hours of 31 October in Northern Nigeria to recover an American citizen held hostage by a group of armed men," Jonathan Hoffman, chief Pentagon spokesman, said in a statement.

"This American citizen is safe and is now in the care of the U.S. Department of State. No U.S military personnel were injured during the operation."

"We appreciate the support of our international partners in conducting this operation," Hoffman added. "The United States will continue to protect our people and our interests anywhere in the world.”

Honestly, no opinion as such, so much noise was made here about Zenith by my bosses and also by my humble self even below 17, except you want to take the risk at current price. It may likely still go up more.....with the rate they're packing it. Just my opinion.

As for sterling, You came asking when prices are going up, this stock stayed for long below 1.20, you may gamble with some units and ready to average down if price pullback...................you may be lucky it wont pullback more.............or wont pullback at all.

Alternatively, you may wait for pullback.............but the issue is that the pullback may be at higher price

Thanks...

Can remember very well when dumpers were coming to dump Zee at 17 then.
Think we were wondering what could be happening, many saw it as blessings and picked massively, even at that 17.
Boss Mendes911 would recall that i even called his attention to it, that what could be happening.......
Not so long, the crash came in full force..............
If Zee were not a sound stock, it would have been difficult for her to rise quickly again............So also, GTB, Stanbic and all other fundamentally sound stocks.

Please whats your opinion about entering Sterling bank now....And also Zenith bank?

Sterling bank will be for short to medium term......Zenith bank for long term

It’s a Portuguese word for straight road.

Ask yourself how can Portuguese traders discovered a place existed with Bini people living there before they came?

Same with "Mungo park discovered river Niger" when there were African people already living by the river side long before he came from Scotland.

Africans educate yourself and STOP White people brain washing you!

My words you quoted does not apply to the dot com bubble victims. They didn't know what they bought. They were victims of the herd mentality.

Keep your admonitions coming, it supplies the necessary balance.

But did you read the thread from the beginning to see where I stated that the stock market is not a get-rich-quick scheme?
If I manage to research stocks with the scarce time available to me, I dont think I should keep repeating myself as stated on page 1.

This thread is meant to share knowledge and stock tips for investors to enable them take the final decision on what best to do as adults.
There are investment forums and groups all over the world established to help each other develop the investment culture and most of all build wealth.
Should we be different in this part of the world?

Please don't worry yourself about these people...just keep doing what you doing.

For short term trades, 10-15% is advisable.
For long term investment, I practically have no stop loss unless I am selling to buy back an anticipated dip; in which case, I sell at impulse and buy back at bottoms.

You are very wrong! This is not an African thing. Yoruba woman have same right as their male counterpart. Yoruba women are equally entitled to all and any inheritance. Everything is shared equally unless someone decide to play smart which is entirely another argument. You either share accordingly to number of wives or number of children but not by gender.

Yes you right...that's the Yoruba culture

My mother and auntie are victims of the law. .
Their father died when they were 5 and 7 and he had no son, uncle or brother so people around the neighbourhood took over their property and drove them out with their mother then..
My grandmother(their mother ) died in 2007 and was buried in my aunt's house..
When my mother and auntie early in 2017 went to reclaim their father's land on the ground that their father has no brother or son and those inheriting the property is not their relatives, the people using the property chased them away in fact they hired community members and they warned them not to step their feet in that place again claiming that they have married and have no right to inherit the said property..
I the law is injurious to good conscience and repugnant to natural justice

Very evil and wicked culture..... I think you should encourage your mother to take legal action

But it's important to remember that Tiktok makes up only 10% of Fastly's revenue, so while they may lose a big customer, these guys are doing business with other big companies. Its just that you cannot predict investor's sentiments, they may overreact. If Oracle, Microsoft or someone else takes over Tiktok's US services, fastly should shoot to the stars. A reputable analyst even upgraded the syock today with a price target of $100. I might buy a few if it dips.

I mistimed the bounce and got in above $1.50, I set my stop loss at $1.4 and it hit it so I got out with a loss... I’m a trader. It’s actually holding up well currently and I expect a run later today tho I won’t be in it
