I got my statement almost 6 months of venturing into Eurobond and I saw that my capital was less of over 1k$ as at that time. I have applied for liquidation. I will write about it when I get it within one month as stated in their letter to me instead of 72hrs. Leaving the money with them will incur more losses. I have consulted one or two Gurus outside Nairaland and I think the best thing is to liquidate the investment.

Would I get it within one month? I am not 100% sure. My lawyer is on standby though

Hello IamR

Please can you expatiate on the bold part....I thought Eurobond is a fixed income investment ?

Did you loose that amount because of early liquidation ?

I think It depends on how much you want to invest? I currently have commercial paper with FBN quest, you can contact them to inquire the minimum amount they will accept as i don't know if this investment porfolio is available for small investors. You can also do sovereign eurobond. This is the message i received from FBN quest"Hello ..,There are 11 Sovereign Eurobond options with different maturities and yields. Yields may vary from as low 3.5% to possibly as high as 6.5% or even more depending on the Bond price and maturity" better you contact FBN quest but i'm sure they will have something for you.

Please can you provide us their email

I have been on their web site but cant find it there

I'd rather convert my idle cash to $ and earn 5% annually instead of doing bond of 10 years and getting 15% coupon annually!

Please which dollar investment are you talking about here?

Heard Euro bond is suspended

You will open NASD account through your Stockbroker

NASD Plc is also listed on NASD trading platform

OK ...I will talk with Morgan Capital tomorrow about that

I was actually asking because you said they are very difficult to get.

So I thought you might give us some tricks of getting them.

Anyway thanks for your response

No one is asking the right questions.

For one the US doesn't care for the most part about African (or foreign) interest unless they want to seize control or put their man in place.

Why is this so important to Munchin? Mind you Munchin is a man who doesn't care about middle class or poor here in the US..... talk much Africans.

You are the only person on this forum who really have a deep understanding of is really going on...Americans only care when their interest is at stake

The only issue I have in this Sukuk bond is that the regime collecting the bond is not the one that will pay in Maturity considering the uncertainty in our political landscape

Please can you explain....I thought the banks are collecting the money on behalf of the FGN now?

Good analysis, what i have learnt in doing Nigeria tbils, bond etc is never to invest in any investment portfolio that will keep my money for too long.

Please can you expatiate on that...taking into consideration the current 7 years Sukuk offer

I am not that comfortable with that tenor

The number digits is the cscs. It has only numbers.

The one that alphanumeric perhaps starting with letter C with a combination of numbers and last 2 digits are alphabets is the CHN

Thanks

CSCS is not same as Clearing House number. They are different. CSCS numbers usually point to a CHN. Let's not delve into this. Fact is they are different. As ur stockbroker where u got the very CSCS that u want to use, to supply the CHN if u don't have it.

Sorry I am just trying to clarify things, I am still new too please.

I have a broker account and the CHN....so I am not sure which one is the CSCS number.

I use Morgan Capital

And I have just logged in to CSCS nigeria website too....I only saw the CHN and account number on my portfolio details

So I guess that's my CSCS account number?

Hello there,

Although I am new into this, I think you can do everything online. I have applied yesterday from outside Nigeria. All I did was to sent the payment receipt into my email and forwarded it to Lotus Capital Limited. You could also send it to FBNQuest. I hope the above helps.

Please what did you enter into the Applicant’s S4/Custodian A/C No. section of the form ...Stockbroker account number?

And I think the CSCS A/C number part is same as the Clearing house number

It has nothing to do with having an account with first Bank or fbnquest. All u need is to transfer money to the sukuk issue 3 account with any of the placement banks of which first bank is one of them. Even if it's possible to carry cash and drop into that account, it's still okay. Even if you are transferring money from a Polaris bank account to the first bank. Any how, just make sure the money or transfer hit that target account with a paper evidence.

After that, you then attach the teller with your filled form and send to fgnsukuk2020@fbnquestmb.com

E don finish be that.

Hello unite4real,

So please for someone to key into this from outside Nigeria, what paper payment evidence do I need? And can I scan the completed application form to the bank too?

Ever since that previous monkey thread was celebrated, I knew we'd have more of this.

Can you guys please have some decency not to show the world?

its not just about them showing us but why are we just only about destroying things?

Everything is wasted in Nigeria ....Natural resources, talent, destiny, time, life, money, wildlife etc

When are we going to start developing things ?

There is eurobond which is a usd denominated investment, you can also do commercial paper with First Bank Quest if the amount you are investing is huge, contact your bank to ask them for other options you may have.

Thanks

I will advise you to keep that money in foreign currency and invest it in any foreign currency denominated investment portfolio, the rate may be low but it worth it. Contact your Nigerian bank to know what foreign currency denominated investment they have available.

Please can anybody help with foreign currency denominated investment with any Nigeria bank

Can you name any please?

How many tech companies in Nigeria are really making money?

The truth remains it is easier to be successful abroad than in Nigeria.

The tech companies in Nigeria are not making money because they don't have the right solution for the existed markets.

Like I said before you can make big money anywhere you are in the world especially in digital sector

If I am lying check out the story of Patrick Collision on Google

He created his company and solution in Ireland and there was no money to sponsor him and his brothers

Then Silicon valley found out about his solution and they came for him and took him away to US

Today the he is worth more than $3 billion

My argument is on salary vs business

In business you can make big money anywhere in the world depending on the solution you are providing

But not so with earning Salary

It's very possible for tech startup not salary earners.

Then that's business and anybody can make that anywhere in the world...depending on the solution you are providing.
