It was discovered by the Portuguese traders

It’s a Portuguese word for straight road.

Ask yourself how can Portuguese traders discovered a place existed with Bini people living there before they came?

Same with "Mungo park discovered river Niger" when there were African people already living by the river side long before he came from Scotland.

Africans educate yourself and STOP White people brain washing you!

My words you quoted does not apply to the dot com bubble victims. They didn't know what they bought. They were victims of the herd mentality.

Keep your admonitions coming, it supplies the necessary balance.

But did you read the thread from the beginning to see where I stated that the stock market is not a get-rich-quick scheme?
If I manage to research stocks with the scarce time available to me, I dont think I should keep repeating myself as stated on page 1.

This thread is meant to share knowledge and stock tips for investors to enable them take the final decision on what best to do as adults.
There are investment forums and groups all over the world established to help each other develop the investment culture and most of all build wealth.
Should we be different in this part of the world?

Please don't worry yourself about these people...just keep doing what you doing.

Everything with Nigerian is always a problem...

For short term trades, 10-15% is advisable.
For long term investment, I practically have no stop loss unless I am selling to buy back an anticipated dip; in which case, I sell at impulse and buy back at bottoms.

Yes can you do that for apple now?

I also did not receive any interest on my s/c. This month from first bank and gtbank due to cbn confused policy changes.

To whom it may concern

Listen and listen carefully, foreign investors cannot and will never invest in Nigeria real sector without stable power supply, good road network, good security and etc.

If ya'll like cut all portfolio investment rates to 0.1% and keep inflation rising life continues...

First bank has paid my interest for the month today...try and check again

You are very wrong! This is not an African thing. Yoruba woman have same right as their male counterpart. Yoruba women are equally entitled to all and any inheritance. Everything is shared equally unless someone decide to play smart which is entirely another argument. You either share accordingly to number of wives or number of children but not by gender.

Yes you right...that's the Yoruba culture

My mother and auntie are victims of the law. .
Their father died when they were 5 and 7 and he had no son, uncle or brother so people around the neighbourhood took over their property and drove them out with their mother then..
My grandmother(their mother ) died in 2007 and was buried in my aunt's house..
When my mother and auntie early in 2017 went to reclaim their father's land on the ground that their father has no brother or son and those inheriting the property is not their relatives, the people using the property chased them away in fact they hired community members and they warned them not to step their feet in that place again claiming that they have married and have no right to inherit the said property..
I the law is injurious to good conscience and repugnant to natural justice

Very evil and wicked culture..... I think you should encourage your mother to take legal action

Mehn this fastly just dey make me laugh sometimes. I dey look am when e drop to $75 and I wan place my buy order but fear dey catch me because of the U.S China spat. But it's important to remember that Tiktok makes up only 10% of Fastly's revenue, so while they may lose a big customer, these guys are doing business with other big companies. Its just that you cannot predict investor's sentiments, they may overreact. If Oracle, Microsoft or someone else takes over Tiktok's US services, fastly should shoot to the stars. A reputable analyst even upgraded the syock today with a price target of $100. I might buy a few if it dips.

I am in the same position as you now.....what is the target you looking at please?

I actually expected it to have a bounce as the volume was massive; it traded almost a billion shares yesterday. What the whole NSE can trade in weeks lol. I mistimed the bounce and got in above $1.50, I set my stop loss at $1.4 and it hit it so I got out with a loss... I’m a trader. It’s actually holding up well currently and I expect a run later today tho I won’t be in it

Thanks... but I am not sure I will jump in for now because the stock is still on downward motion.

But can you recommend any other trading stock you are watching or entering for now?

Everyone has spoken well indeed.
There is no wrong response in the above tread.

We are here to share wealth creation opportunities in the US market. That's what this forum was created for. And we will achieve it via the 3 possible means: short, medium and long term trade/investment.

We have so far concentrated on sharing mid to long term opportunities because it feels safer and can be acted on even up to 1 week after it is shared for those who don't have the time to come online here on a regular basis to still benefit.
But for highly speculative picks, easyflex has said it all up there. Split second decisions can be made and one is careful to not get a less risk averse member to act on. But great risk takers like madam InaNla and Oga Alaska90 and others in their league know that the responsibility for DD is their's to take and which ever way it turns out, they are up for the task. I think there will be no harm in alerting they and other interested parties on this forum as much as possible so we can win together if we also loose together.

On that note, I insist there is money in Pfizer and I have started taking position with my first batch at $38.95 on July 23rd.
In order not to lengthen this "epistle" further, I will state my reasons for Pfizer later.
Alert issued!
Happy investing.

Well said...thanks

Do you really believe this .....instead of you to demand justice from people stealing your money , you here talking about Sahara reporter.

I used to believe I'm quite smart, but how I missed out on stock trading till just recently still amazes me.....I started my trial and error after going thru this thread......I did really good at the beginning, raised my portfolio to about +40% then FOMO sets in and I sold my stock to buy what was trending.....but I learnt a big lesson that FOMO is a big disease in trading....do ur due diligence and read reports from experts.

I lost all my profit but luckily I didn't loose any of my capital $15k. I start allover again as i got a little bit more comfortable.....now my portfolio is up 67%...... i only own NVAX,DVAX and APHA at the moment.... I read a report on NVAX few weeks ago and i got in at $62.....

QCOM and USB on my list for long hold.....

Thanks to everyone contributing immensely to this thread.

Please always share this type of report on this forum....I think that is the essence of having a group like this,

I actually missed out on NVAX.

So I read on tech stocks yesterday and I was like...... shocked

Zoox although not quoted publicly yet is gaining grounds in autonomous cars
Who here has a hint as to when this company will go public?

Also I learnt that we are in a new age( 5G)and disruptive companies or stocks will soon start pooping out
Remember 10years ago Netflix, amazon were penny stocks compared to now
As for me I beginning to think long term especially in the tech area
5G is coming and will bring with it companies that will make great fortune from it possibilities
From all I read up this summary

Akoustics-this company makes RF filters that is needed to run 5G
American Tower corp- this company is a major player in setting up 5G towers
Qualcomm- I learnt this company own most of the patent related to 5G

The coming of 5G is going to usher in the era of driverless cars and this cars will need powerful computers to make decision in split seconds and only one company ASML has this software.( and the question is could this be the Microsoft of cars? Only time will tell)
Now in addition to what I listed above.. Stocks that might double in 10years
NIO
Spotify
TESLA
Uber
Skyworks
Apple
Qorvo

Some other companies that are not yet publicly listed we should watch out for

Zoox
Aurora
Cruise.
I am beginning to think Tech is the future it will dominate everything from agriculture to healthcare

Let's throw more light(more contributions) on this issue
Thanks
