See how you can combine both.

I tell you this because I lost the job i was managing trying to get another one, where i was told that they would get back to me. Its almost two months now, nothing from the company, no job, no money anymore, and as a result have not eaten since morning, don't even know if I will today.

Although both cases are not similar, but I hope u will understand.

Am not trying to discourage u, but to advice to still keep that job while you venture into the music world, you can do that at your leisure time.
Don't leave that job @OP at least not now.

My brother, I can understand d situation cos I battled with it last month. Called in sick on the morning of an interview with a company, but my boss asked me to take drugs and get to the office b4 10. I ignored her and went for the interview because in d first place her pay was not encouraging. The next day, she was furious and I was sacked. I already knew it was not going to be easy but I had to take the risk.
My point is weight your options your especially because you ar a new employee.
If you want to risk it, brace up for the worst case scenerio which is you are fired.
