Okanokan: What makes him a sellout? that he visited Rotimi Amaechi? Truth must be told, the strenght of Pdp is South/South and South East and, it is unfortunate that the overbearing attitude of Mr&Mrs Jonathan will make the Pdp lose control of the zones particularly the South/South. Come to think of it which of the Governors in South/South is in the good book of Mr&Mrs Jonathan outside Nyesom Wike? Is it Ben Ayade, Ifeanyi Okowa, Emmanuel Udom or his Governor Seriake Dickson? President Jonathan and Dame Patience Jonathan must be told in clear terms that "loyalty begets loyalty", even Nyesom Wike name is already in thier BLACK BOOK. I have said severally that 2019 Election is for Pdp to lose by thier own action and inaction. i perfectly agree with the bolded line above. As for the meeting, that is the nature of an average politician; no parmanent friend/enemy. All is for 2019 and we'll get to know soon. |

ICC have indeed been a political in the hand of the west and they can be biased but we still need them as we havent come of age and our justice system is weak and prone to corruption. To me, the advantages of having them around to checkmate the excesses of most africa leaders far outweight the disadvantages. |

bigfish3k: the fear of ebola was real as well as the fear for the military, the people believed salt could cure ebola they used it even as we found out it was not true. so comparing the military and ebola is a mismatch, u mean people can peddle such type of ebola lies on the Nigerian military and it sails through, if so the military need to re-assess itself. something is definitely wrong if ur citizens can start running away from u just because of rumour. that's lack of trust. I want u to imagine if such lies can sail through in America if it was American military coming. why because they have established trust between them and the citizens. the American military only rescues its citizens in danger , they don't kill them unlike here, they don't tell them to roll in the mud or swamp, they don't tell u to start slapping each other, they dont tell them to frog jump at any slightest provocation, they don't follow their girl friends or relatives to go and settle civil cases, they don't shoot to kill civilians that bashed their cars, they don't see u as sub human.... ie bloody civilian. with all these tell me why u wont run first if u hear any rumour about them whether true or false . so blame ur military not innocent nigerians, their antecedents caused it Yes i must agree with you that the fear and panic is a direct consequent of their anticedents and i have always condemn the unprofessional behaviour of "some" of them; We should feel proud and happy at the sight of them not fear and panic....but we must learn to say the truth as it is(the whole panic was instigated; it's not true) and appreciate their various efforts to bring peace and stability to the country. It is unfair to generalize cos of the few among them that are soiling their image. |

for the aged u said, then why are school children running helter skelter all over the country while accusing the army; why? am still saying it that proper enlightenment was not carried out I'll simply ignore your first sentence cos it's a wrong judgement. Btw., can you tell me why people were bathing with salt water all over the country during the time of Ebola? Was idea gotten from an official pronouncement? Your answer to that applies to this current case. The military didnt attempt or have an idea of immunizing school children. If was all a false rumor/alarm probably ochestrated in the name of propaganda and trying to paint the army black. You need to ask yourself why no one had been able to come up with pictures or videos of the army sighted in such schools with medical equipments....even school children that were interviewed at various locations never said they sighted any military man. |

Actually, you should be too embarrased that you rushed to condemned the military without having an understanding of how they operate or a flint of idea of what type of medical services they normally render to the public after all the explanations here and there all over the media outlets. HungerBAD: Interesting.
My advice is simple. The parents rushing to pick up their kids from school, believing the military wants to inject their kids, should also enrol in the same school with their kids, after all these drama.
It shows they not only lack common sense, but that they too like their kids, needs some formal kind of education.
What does the military stand to gain harming the citizenry?and just like i told somebody yesterday. You will think with the constant complaint about the Military in Nigeria, that it is only populated by the Northerners and that there are no other tribes inside.
Anybody that has lived close to a Military formation/base knows the military conduct these exercises to civilians from time to time. From free Vaccinations, to checking of BP to eye treatments and one time they even shared Condoms along the streets.
But no,Buhari is President and wants to kill all Southerners.
Some years ago. I think Goodluck Jonathan was the President then(i stand to be corrected), 84 Northern Kids were killed when a fake teething medication(MY PIKIN) was sold to their parents who gave their kids to consume.
A Yoruba man (Adeyemo) and an Edo man (Eromosele)were both convicted and sent to jail for it. I did not read anywhere that Jonathan was trying to kill Northerners, since the makers of the drugs are Southerners.
We should stop viewing everything this Government does as evil. It is not healthy for us.
Mynd44 and Lalasticlacla what is your opinion? Ignorance is an endemic disease and I just pity the innocent once who're only acting based on rumors and "them say" but for the majority who'll always base everything on their hated for Buhari, I SMH for them. Hatred is the coward's revenge for feeling intimidated and that is their problem since post 2015 election and i don't see how 2019 election will stop this trend as it's obvious they're not ready to close rank with other zones. |

1. Know his backgroundAnybody who base his/her judgement on the above isn't smart and not ready for anything serious. Actually, experience have shown that on the average, those who came out from bad/irresponsible parents becomes a much better spouse in life than those whose parents are "good".....this is so because it is so much easier to learn from bad experience and be a better person than to learn from good experience and be best. 2. Ask about himThis should actually be no. 1 but in the right way. The point should read; "know your partner" Do all your best to know all that you can about him/her; if possible, make him/her your besty for this purpose. 3. Watch is attitude when it comes to money and youVery very important. No. 2 method will also be of help in this case. 4. His history relationship-wiseThis is just an extension of no. 2 5. Give him a trialI have reservation about this one...be very careful who you're giving a trial. If he/she fails all the above assessment, a trial may/may not be necessary depending on how sure you're about your results and your overall conviction. |

Nice question and we must keep asking until we get an answer..Nigeria deserve to know the source of income of Boko-haram; we want to know their true sponsors and I strongly believe exposing and prosecuting them will produce lasting and practical solution to Boko-haram terrorism. Having said that, we still must commend the FG for acting fast to IPOB menace and shia movement in Zaria/kaduna state. Rwanda genocide would've been a child's play compared to what IPOB would've caused.....any student of history will see the clear similarities between the hate speeches with hutus/tutsis groups that triggered Rwanda's genocide and that coming out from Nnamdi Kanu and his group. As a matter of fact, the consequences of those hate speeches are worse than the treat of guns. |
