Let me paint the picture for you. wink

You come home from a hard days work, you are feeling tired and overworked and pissed at your boss. angry You walk into your house/apartment, you smell the aroma of lavender in the air and soft music playing in the background. Your woman calls you, "Honey come to the upstairs bedroom." You enter the bedroom and the scent of lavender is getting stronger, she whispers:" Sweetheart I'm in the bathroom, come to me." smiley

You open the door, you see the glow of candles burning, a bottle of wine chilling and two wine glasses. The bathtub is filled with warm water, lavender oil and bubbles. Your wife/woman is in the tub looking at you seductively, "Honey take off your clothes and join me." wink You un-dress in 5 seconds flat, you are now in the tub. Your wife/woman pours you a cold glass of wine. She picks up the bath sponge, put the bath gel on it and softly washes your body. You are getting turned on because she is touching those erogenous areas. You are starting to moan, "mmmm, mmmm! "Something rises. grin She looks lovingly at you and says "Oh honey" as she blows out the candles.

Now use your imagination to complete the bath. grin grin grin Luminouz, bejeria101, Martin0 Truckpusher, Kingtom are you ready for your bath? grin (Alezy I will finish the story for you privately.) kiss

Meanwhile Burutai is sipping champagne and calculating his profits on the two houses he own and rented out in Dubai.

But then again we warned you people when Buhari was boasting how (as a former military General) he'd wipe out bokoharam within months.

Remind me how long Buhari has been president.
A colleague at my office explained to me how his elder bro excaped the attack. His bro is the front man in this batch of soldiers killed recently. Said he ran after he discovered they overpowered his team, he entered a river and fled to chad. They later sent a chopper to pick him n 2 others.

Currently, they are in Maiduguri and boko haram av sent another letter saying they will attack the other camp soon. Yet those that are in abj will sit and act like everything is fine over there. The figures the press announced was a fat lie. Over 130 soldiers were killed.

Painfully, if a boko haram leader is captured, a call comes from abj saying they should leave him. Sayi he is innocent. We re just fooling ourselves in this country.

WhiteJacket:
But its very common, and they ve experienced it probably many times.

I personally have helped many of my friends too and I don't have a problem with it. Infact, I ve had negative experiences where some old friend called and was arrogantly asking for money for his "sick mum". Because I use to know him and his family very well,I decided to help. So he kept bugging my phone daily for the money, till I eventually helped and just as he came out of nowhere, he disappeared into nowhere. Well, I don't let that bother me, neither do I think of opening threads on it.
My second experience was with a lady. She asked for some money, I mistakenly sent triple the amount(my phone banking was acting up) So when she saw it, I asked she return the extra to my brother,... Guess what, she started bargaining the return amount and how much I could let go off... on my own money o. I had to be firm to ensure she returned some of it. At that point, what i thought was that the only thing she owed me was honesty in returning the balance, since there was no way I could find you or chase you up. Tell me. if you ve had these sort of experiences, you wouldn't be cautious when talking with people over there.
wow....m shocked

It is difficult for you to understand but for some, it is their reality. You are bombarded with calls and messages, 20 calls a day and 19 were about different stories all ending with need for finance for one thing or the other. A friend just got out of the hospital due to a minor workplace injury and his cousin was fighting him on the phone for not picking his calls for 2 days. At the end of the day, it turned out he needed money for his house rent - two days earlier he posted pictures of himself & buddies chopping life in Lagos on Facebook.
I agree that generalization is not good but keep in mind that most of the people abroad were also living at home before they left. It is hard to separate the wheat from the chaff in this situation so most guys just ignore and wait.
I understand u perfectly but ignoring and waiting is far from a reasonable solution.

Make these guys understand. Take ur calls, be on social media as u always av been. Be ur self.

Reasons I never ask anyone for assistance abroad. In fact once u re my friend and u move abroad u will be tired of me cos u will barely hear from me, unless ofcos via comments on social media once in a while. It has to be u calling cos I hate wrong thinking mentality.

the behavior is cos of same reason some guys comments out there.

Its as if when u try to reach out, u automatically want something. Very wrong mentality

Dear Handsomeyitayo,

I can tell you are in pain.
The problem is, you are a potential leech and your brother in his wisdom has seen this and has cut you off before you push him into trouble.

Do you know folks like you who have lofty assumptions and make hefty demands from relatives abroad are the cause of the crimes Nigerians commit abroad just to meet up with your expectations.

It is not your business if his girlfriend is fvcking around, neither is it your business if he sends her money.
The only allegiance your brother owes you is NOTHING. He is not obliged to keep in touch with you.

It is sad that the okirika winter jacket and used shoe you gave him is the bargaining chip to your emotional blackmail.

Ogbeni,
Don't be a beggar. Hustle for yourself and expect nothing from anyone. If you think life is easy outside Nigeria, go get yourself a passport then a visa and travel.
Better still, you can cross from Libya to Italy so that you can join to pluck money from the trees and send back to everyone who ever said hi to you back in Nigeria.

Till you do that.
Don't judge, don't beg, throw away your sense of entitlement and be happy.

Yours truly,
NwaAmaikpe.
u passed a good message in a very wrong manner. U re so very stupid for this.

tamethem:
My advice to you is that you should act as if those guys that are abroad don't exist. Many of them are scared of the people over here because some lazy family members and friends demand from them often. But they should not be avoiding every other person with genuine intention.

Guy I have learnt some lessons that I would want you to learn too.

When friends and family abroad call you and they ask you How you are doing, If you love to keep talking to them and still be on their call list, no matter what you are going through, tell them you are fine. I am good, even if you haven't eaten for days.

If you tell them your true situation some might help and cut you off later or some won't even help and still cut you off.

So the best way to still remain on their call list is always telling them you are OK. otherwise you would sound like a beggar.

I've got about three brothers abroad, I don't call them at all except on the 31st of December to say happy new year, by that they respect you.

I have lots of friends that I have blocked both on whatsapp and Facebook. once I see that you are mis interpreting my saying Hi as a style of getting something from you, I kuku ma block you so that you will have peace of mind.

By the time your eye don clear and you wan say Hi, I don already block you.

So work hard, look for opportunities and use them , become somebody and they are the ones that will be asking ppl for your number.
God bless u for this advice to him.

Two months and you are already hyped because he sent money to a non significant person.
When will u guys change.
This is exactly the reason they block u guys or refuse to call.
I'm still waiting for that person that will just end it in exchanging pleasantries.

At two months the guy may not have started work.
The sis is still taking care of him. Sis is yet to recoup back money spent.
You didn't actually help him from your heart.
U helped him with the intention of gaining and was taken aback when he gave something to his girlfriend first before you.

Go and buy another shoe or jacket and stop sounding like an immature kid.

See sense of entitlement already bc you gave him shoe and jacket.
If the girl fucck around like u said, is it your biz?
Amebo
you ppl re just defending poo. The op didn't say he needed anything from him. For Gods sakes what's the crime he commited for trying to say hi to a friend who left years ago. Probably followed to the airport or something. Una too think negative abeg

One thing Nigerians are known for is discrediting a program they didn't get involved in or non of their relatives were included.

Only people that participated in the process can tell you how important it is to them but above all the amount of money that was and is been earned by the pioneers of these programs isn't imaginable.

So far there can never be a program in this country that can get to every citizen people will surely fault it.

Christianity EtcRe: "His Name Is Not Jesus" - Daddy Freeze Condemns The Name 'Jesus' by Alezy(m): 10:50pm On Oct 31, 2018
Normal you....you must end the sentence saying nonsense as long as its against Christianity.

Rubbish!

Seun:
Daddy Freeze is absolutely right that the original name of Jesus is 'Yeshua' or 'Joshua'. The 'controversy' here is about whether or not the translated versions of this name in other languages, such as Ιησούς (Greek), Jesus (English), Jesu(Yoruba), Jizọs(Igbo), Yesu(Hausa), and Isa(Arabic) are as potent against demons, and for causing prayers to be instantly answered, as his original Jewish name, 'Yeshua' or 'Joshua'.

One could argue that there is no magic in any of the names: they've all been used against ISIS and Boko Haram and none of them worked.
