O Mighty Lord Satan, by whom all things are set free, I cast myself utterly into thine arms and place myself unreservedly under thy all powerful protection. Comfort me and deliver me from all of the hindrances and snares of those who wish to harm me, both seen and unseen. Visit justice and vengeance upon those who seek my destruction. Render them powerless and devastated. Direct their malice to return upon them tenfold and to destroy them who would resent my being. Fill my soul with thy infernal power, strengthen me, that I may persevere in my service, and act as an agent of thy works and a vessel of thy will. This I ask in your name, almighty and ineffable Lord Satan who liveth and reigneth forevermore. Ave Satanas |
Muskeeto, that was for siding with the xtians. No mercy. ![]() |
striktlymi: I am there now. Click on live game. I am there now, hopefully we can get to play the timed game from there.I'm still there and it says "No friends are currently in Live Chess." What am I doing wrong? |
Uyi Iredia: @ Alfa Seltzer: They apply but we know full well rules have grey areas. It so happens yours had an intent to cause commotion. If you want I can cast and bind Satan on your chatbox. In any case, it is to the mods credit your chatbox is allowed. Satanism is offensive to Christianity. They don't. Thay have intent to instruct. |
Ihedinobi: Is that right? What again do we call insanity? Would a sane person be offended by a mere greeting? I say hi to someone I'm seeing for the first time in the day and they take offence and you say, "oh that's ok, anything can offend anyone", not "oh boy, there's some'n wrong with that dude". Right. All these bla bla and twisting just because you can't stand quoted from your sacred book. Let me dismantle you one by one. If you say good morning and that person takes offense, then YES!, there's something wrong with that person. You get it? There's something wrong with people taking offense when no offense has been intended expecially if the action was one of repeating sacred words (like good morning) to the person feigning offense. John 3:16 already misrepresents itself and doesn't need me. It makes no sense at all. And if you take salutation for an attack, then you have a problem. Here you go again showing your ignorance of the scriptures. The King James version said to bake cake with sh.it. Here: Ezekiel 4:12 King James Version (KJV) 12 And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight. http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ezekiel+4%3A12&version=KJV |
Ishilove:You don't need to understand. Just follow and I will lead. ![]() |
Divepen: oga wetin i do youNothing o! I was going to provide you guys with some words of your god to meditate on but it seems like the mods don't like such activities here any more. I am running a single man campaign to be able to quote the scriptures here. Please help. |
Ihedinobi: Point is...?Point is if rules don't stop you from handling fires, you shouldn't be punished if you handle fires. |
Logicboy03:me too. ![]() |
striktlymi: ...and Ihe gets another point. No he didn't. He just made a false accusation. I didn't comment on those posts. |
Logicboy03: What kind of bullsheit is that?It is in stricktly's narrow-minded world. |
Ihedinobi: This guy is hilariousI didn't comment. I just posted bible verses. You see your false accusations. Are you saying that I am not allowed to post bible verses? Why single me out for discrimination? |
striktlymi: He provoked an argument. The bolded is argument from ignorance. HBG wanted us to hide and discuss this on the chat thread last night. I brought the discussion back here so that more people, especially non-christians can see her sense of moderation. |
striktlymi: You did provoke an argument...Firstly, anything can provoke anybody even seemenly harmless things. That's why communities have rules that bind everyone. Secondly, any biblical verse is subject to misrepresentations and misinterpretation. Why discriminate against mine? Thirdly, that section is not reserved for only christian who wants to learn. Their potentially law-breaking reaction to my lawful quotes is their problem. Fourth, I had no intent to provoke. My only intent is to show more knowledge. You may have noticed the suprised some of them expressed when I showed the passage where their god told them to bake and eat human sh.it. Spreading knowledge is good no matter what you accuse me of. Some ignore, some don't. But that's their decision which can in no way implicates me. Lastly, I broke no rule and those posts were unjustly hidden. |
Ihedinobi: Depends who's reading and who's quoting. After all, fire saves lives just as well as it destroys them. Depends who's handling it, no?That's why rules exist on who should handle certain fires. |
RationalDude: Do you think you can defend the indefensible? The bible is always right and it is written that your lord and master will soon be cooling his heels in red hot larvae along with you and every other human that refuses the pointless sacrifice of Jesus.I see what you did there. You are one of us. Greetings. |
Ihedinobi: You didn't? Another brazen fibber! Please answer. Are those verses I posted trolling? |
Two pages to say "good morning" to each other ![]() |
striktlymi: Christian chat thread, Christian rules...I believe LB knows a bit about this too.Rules by which I fully abided. |
striktlymi: I guess you missed Ihe's post too or read it the way LB did.No, I didn't. He has yet to demonstrate how quoting bible verses equals trolling. |
Uyi Iredia: Intention to break the peace that's why. We all know Satan is a trollSo biblical passages destroy peace? |
striktlymi: But Ihe has demonstrated that Alfa broke at least one rule: "provoke an argument" which the thread is not meant for.No he hasn't because I didn't provoke any argument. I ask again, why am I deemed responsible for the reaction of christians to the verses in their book? |
I love you Alfa, but God loves you more. He can put an everlasting smiley ( ) emoticon on your posts
Don't let Ishilove catch you. |
Ihedinobi: NonsenseExcept I didn't do any of those. Please when has the words of your god become trolling? |
Uyi Iredia: Then I will quote 'very wise' statements from the likes of Dawkins, throw in some by deists for fairness, and I will fully expect Christians to do the same on the non-Christian chatbox thread. And also a similar behaviour on the Stanist chatbox. But hey, we all know that's what Alfa Seltzer wants right ! Commotion ! *sings Naeto C's 'The Devil Is A Liar'* HBG carry go !Can we then safely say that Nairaland rules do not apply to the religion section? |
striktlymi: If you provide the appropriate contexts (which by the way is Christian) your master would be very unhappy with you.Why have a "chat" thread if there is a fixed context? |
striktlymi: The posts were the result of 'trolling' so hiding them was quite appropriate. My only ish would come if they were hidden before telling you the reason(s) for the action.Calling posting of biblical passages trolling may not go down well with some of your fellow xtians. |
"I am Courage.I will Lord, I will. |
Logicboy03: Wait, so Alfa's crime is that he didnt provide context for the scriptures?I promise to provide context if they require one but will need assurances that I am allowed to do so. |
Ihedinobi: Alfa trolled by quoting Bible verses that ordinarily require context to be true to Christian beliefs again and again with no intention to let up. If a Christian on that thread chose to respond, he would have had to bring in context and explain how those parts of the Bible did not mean what they seemed to mean standing alone. That would have led to filling a chat thread with arguments defending the Christian God, something that the rules clearly prohibited. To summarise this paragraph, "alfa wasn't breaking any rules but we christians can't express ourselves without breaking rules. So in our infinite xtian wisdom, let's hide alfa's posts". |
The guy asked a very simple question and wanted to know more, instead of keeping quite if u don't know u r busy asking a JAMB question. Are u a learner?
The answer will depend on his beliefs or lack of. |
Psalm 46 1: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2: Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3: Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. 4: There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 5: God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. 6: The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7: The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. 8: Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. 9: He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 10: Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11: The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. .[King James Version]
I wonder why some bible verses are allowed and others aren't. HBG, care to explain to clear away this confusion? That would be the xtian thing to do. Wouldn't it? |
