Here is a rule with Igbo words. There are two groups of vowels that never mix in any word.
Group 1: a, ị, ọ, ụ
Group 2: e, i, o, u

No Igbo word contains a mix of vowels from both groups. Either one group or the other. So when you see an Igbo word where this rule is broken, then it is either a made up word, a foreign word or a combination of different words like Ihe-ana-achọ.
