Nothing to be grateful for except for good health. Failed attempts in leaving the country Failed relationships despite my loyalty No progress, worst year |
Alabifirstson:Where are you based now? On what visa category did you move? Sharing practical experience is encouraged |
@ lionlee216 @ mackynaija @ zubby77 @ vicjustice And many more ... come in please and lets hear from you |
In 2007, a Nairalander @ vicjustice was kind enough to share his experience about the hustling life in different countries. It's over a decade now, lot of polices changed, border tightened, asylum rejected, deportation increased, xenophobic riot in jo'burg, modern slavery in Dubai ( travel documents siezed) ,USA rarely grants visa this days blah blah blah... Despite it all, Nigerians still intend to leave the country in droves due to unemployment, poor standard of living, safety, quality of life, no credit facility to startup a venture, degrading infrastructure, mentally bankrupt government etc. Even if you tell intending immigrants to stay put, it still won't change there mind. Hence, for those who have been around the block hustling in different countries and continents kindly come in and share your first hand experience ...

Don4mark:You have a great chance of securing a visa if you have travel history. Take a trip to Ghana then to Dubai via Ethiopia or Kenya airlines (visa on arrival )(with 500k) you can do this and return to naija before you apply for any first world country visa to avoid denial. Take it from someone whose visa has been denied 4 times When you return you can now apply for the main country of your choice. What you have is enough to make it out of this country. Don't pay agent, this are things you can do online yourself |
davido2017:Visit visa... Was invited by a friend
|
davido2017:Yes |
davido2017:go chill out o... submitted mine since November 29th at Abuja, no word from them. heard it takes 3 to 5 weeks update: visa was denied, got my passport via return courier today. |
The ball is in your court in this case. You have to make the best decision for your self. Your case is still better because she let you to know all about her debt before you got together. We read of a fellow that it was after their wedding, after the partner got to Yankee and after many many months of them living as a couple that the partner got to know of IRS debt, Student loans etc of the other partner, now, they are both stuck in it. (an amount around what you wrote up there!). If i'm getting you clearly, they'd both have to pay up the loans right? As i'm in talks with one who is in debts of about $200k Make up your mind.
If i'm getting you clearly, they'd both have to pay up the loans right?
